Morning all. Sorry for lateness of the thread.

Here's the spreadsheet

As the title says, only two more weeks left! But that still means there's time to shed a couple more pesky pounds.

Hope you all have a good week

ohhhhh all you with your NSVs are tempting me to try on the area of my wardrobe I haven't looked at for 3 years. Not sure if i'm ready. I think i'll be disappointed if I don't fit them yet. I may wait till I've lost a stone.

BrassicaBabe · 07/03/2019 14:48

Haha ShagMe I meant I don't want to be one of those folks who are incoherent after a sniff of alcohol Grin

ShagMeRiggins · 07/03/2019 15:03

Ah, I understand Brassica. Wouldn’t want to see you incoherent yes I would.

ShagMeRiggins · 07/03/2019 15:04

Strikethrough RESULT. Ha!

m0therofdragons · 07/03/2019 15:04

@MrsKoala I'm not brave enough to try the lk Bennett dress yet Blush

AandL · 07/03/2019 16:16

I totally get what posters are saying about it not breaking the habit of bread, in Whole30, its called "sex with your pants on"! I just felt I needed something to ease myself back in to woe after my woe-ful break Smile

Today's menu
Mixed berries, greek yog, pecans
Courgette soup, lc roll, cheese
Dinner
aussieketoqueen.com/keto-sausage-feta-bake/
And
aussieketoqueen.com/keto-potato-salad-with-crispy-bacon/

Attached the bread of controversy Wink

Anyone care to choose me lunch? (all day)
unioncafe.ie/churchtown/menus/

MrsKoala · 07/03/2019 18:28

If anyone uses the bare naked noodles how do you keep half a packet? A whole one is too much and I thought I could keep half in some water in the fridge for tomorrow? Or is that daft?

BIWI · 07/03/2019 18:52

I think that would work. To be honest, I usually cook it all, and then save the other half for another meal. Or sometimes I eat the whole lot

@Aandl
I’d have the rotisserie chicken( no gravy ) with the seasonal greens and butter
But I don’t like red meat , so... I may not be the best at choosing

BIWI · 07/03/2019 18:58

@AandL

Starters - chicken wings (but check they aren't battered/breaded first), or the antipasti board, without the bread.

Salads - Classic Caesar (without the croutons), grilled tender stem broccoli, with chicken or halloumi

Most of the mains look OK, with greens and/or a salad (be careful of the apple glaze and balsamic dressing)

and obviously swerve the desserts! (although you could have a cheeseboard without the crackers)

Oh that menu looks lovely. I'd have mussels to start then either the seabass or the steak with buttered greens and cheese for pudding.

Thanks BIWI. I am cooking a laksa so thought it might go mushy if I leave it for tomorrow too. But I suppose if it's sitting in cold water I could sit it in cold laksa. Does it reheat okay or go to mush?

BIWI · 07/03/2019 19:34

I don't think those noodles will go mushy - given that they are sold in liquid, I can't see how they would.

@AandL

Ooh, I'll have the broccoli, tomato, almond and rocket salad with chicken please.

I fecking love that menu, AandL. All restaurants should offer that menu. My home should be that menu. [wishful thinking emoji]

AandL · 07/03/2019 20:21

You'll all to come to Dublin for a LC meet up so!@ShagMeRiggins

nowlook · 07/03/2019 20:23

I'm free this weekend.
(and all other weekends)

I'd probably nosedive into the pizza and be shamed.

BIWI · 07/03/2019 20:35

We should so do a meet up. If only we all lived in a reasonably close proximity to each other!!!

OP posts:
Siameasy · 07/03/2019 20:59

Meet up would be so cool as I’m probably boring everyone singing the praises of low carb
I’m really lucky my boss is doing Keto as well and has lost 20lb so he’s very keen

nowlook · 07/03/2019 21:00

@BIWI
Never meet your heroes.
For all we know, you're actually Barry- a 25-stone trucker from Cleckheaton Grin

Dia12 · 07/03/2019 21:04

Haha@nowlook!! If Barry, the 25 st tucker were real, I'd certainly not be poking him!

I'm West Midlands, where is everyone else from?

nowlook · 07/03/2019 21:08

@Dia12
East Midlands here!

BIWI · 07/03/2019 21:10
