I love this week - when we find out how much people have lost, and all those of you who haven't really believed it will work are proved wrong!

Here's the spreadsheet

I hope that the scales have been kind to you, or that your measurements have gone down and your clothes are feeling looser!

I look forward to hearing about everyone's progress.

Here's to a great week 2 as well

Quickly checking in.. will post properly later.
Still haven't managed to get my scales sorted but think I did ok at the Chinese on Saturday, stayed away from visible carbs but it's so hard with all the sauces etc.

Back on yesterday and had a great Lc food day.

I love this woe, I feel so much more refreshed and less tired/bloaty

Condamine · 21/01/2019 14:36

Well done everyone on the great losses.
I am absolutely thrilled to have lost 7lbs. It's the most I have ever lost in a week one on a WW or SW diet and I have eaten so much delicious fat!
I am loving the food, loving not being hungry all day and loving not needing snacks!
Thank you BIWI for showing me the light!

Sorry, too much posting from me. But adding my food helps me stay on track:
B - 1/4 frittata made with 3 eggs, 2tbsp ff yoghurt, about 70g feta, chopped courgette and shallot
L - another 1/4 frittata, slice ham, salad, broccoli, mayo
D - hot smoked salmon and vegetable stir fry, with soy, fresh ginger and chilli. May add Bare Naked Noodles just to give them a try.
2.5l water in already.

Rshard · 21/01/2019 15:00

No such thing as too much posting @firstmrsf! Everyone’s here to support and help each other.

No worries @brassica!

BalloonSlayer · 21/01/2019 15:09

Well done everyone!

What lovely stories! Grin

1stMrsF · 21/01/2019 15:14

Thank you @Rshard Smile

LazydaysofSummer · 21/01/2019 15:30

Doing dry Jan, so had stopped drinking from the 1st, no wine also meant no late night snacks on cheese and biscuits or crisps, generally tried to eat healthier and I also started back at the gym. So was gutted to put another 3lbs on in the first two weeks!
Bootcamp came along at just the right time, really pleased with first week loss of 4lb, not quite back to pre christmas weight but very much heading in the right direction now, thanks to all the support and advice.
Also adding extra salt to hubbies meals along with force feeding him water means seems to have alleviated the cramps, thanks.

AandL · 21/01/2019 15:38

I think i put my weigh in in wrong column ...will try fix later

Todays menu
Serrano ham, scrambled eggs, sour cream & parm, creamy coffee
Leftover roast dinner with mayo
Creamy coffee
Japanese beef curry with cauli rice

Tomorrow will be a planned off day, have baked a birthday cake for my boss/bf that we will have at teabreak and Im going out for dinner..I will enjoy and make better choices and not let it derail my week.

Is it ok to join late and not go on the spreadsheet? I have loads to loose. I have tried boot camp twice before but fell pregnant within a month both timesConfused

nowlook · 21/01/2019 17:14

@Bloodybigbabybelly

Are you absolutely sure you want to join in view of your past experiences? Grin

AthelstaneTheUnready · 21/01/2019 17:22

Of course it's fine, Baby Grin

TescoValue · 21/01/2019 17:27

Does anyone have a good recipe for celeriac chips? Got one reduced to pennies in Asda and want chips with my steak!

Livelongandprosper · 21/01/2019 17:34

4lbs off - I am so pleased with that. Thanks BIWI for getting me here to start with Smile Willpower is down to the individual but being part of this group really helps me enormously

UnexpectedItemInShaggingArea · 21/01/2019 17:45

I've had an excellent day, no loss of commitment given my total lack of weight loss.

B - 2 eggs
L - Ham salad
D - Roast chicken and greens

Snack of smoked salmon. At least 3 litres of water so far. Brutal exercise class this morning.

Great to hear all the success stories.

BIWI · 21/01/2019 18:01

@TescoValue I just cut mine up into small wedges, put on an oven tray, coat generously in olive oil, season well and then bake till they're nice and golden.

They won't go crispy, but they taste great!

Just logging my food for the day to make me accountable.
B Greek yoghurt
L Garlic and chilli prawns with mushrooms and broccoli (and mayo)
D Homemade steak mince and shallot burger topped with blue cheese with portobello mushrooms as the bun. Served with watercress and mayo.

Lots of fat today, might need to scale back tomorrow!

KiteMarked · 21/01/2019 19:38

B: genuinely forgot to eat - wasn't hungry at all. This doesn't happen often!
L: boiled eggs, mustard, mayo, chopped celery and cucumber with a mountain of spinach leaves.
D: low carb lasagna made with super thin omelettes rather than pasta. 'twas...interesting. I liked it!

LittleBearPad · 21/01/2019 19:49

I’m struggling todrink enough water. I will try harder!

Cheeseandapple · 21/01/2019 19:57

Logging food for today -
B - almond porridge (made with ground almond & coconut milk).
L - poor show as I was rushing between dropping DD off and a job interview. 2 eggs and a few slices of halloumi.
S - currently digging into broccoli, cabbage and courgette cooked in creamy cheesy sauce.

Got about .5l to go.

TescoValue · 21/01/2019 19:59

MFP says celeriac is quite high in carbs! I had probably 200g raw! It says 19.2g, is this right?

prettybird · 21/01/2019 20:16

That's almost definitely because it is including the fibre. Deduct the fibre and then see what it says. (Celeriac is a good source of fibre: we don't count fibre in carb counts in the UK)

prettybird · 21/01/2019 20:20

This uk diabetes website says 1.9g per 100g boiled.

thelowcarbdiabetic.blogspot.com/2011/06/great-grub-celeriac.html

venusandmars · 21/01/2019 20:25

@tescovalue I think some of the data in MFP is American. They calculate carbs differently, then substract an amount for fibre, giving net carbs (by their calculation it would be about 7.4g). I've seen various calculations for celeriac. Tesco site says 2.3g carb. That'll do for me Grin

TescoValue · 21/01/2019 20:28

Lots of websites on Google also say it's high, but will trust that it's fine, hopefully I'm not 5lbs up in the morning GrinGrin
