Morning all. Flowers

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness for almost the last time

One final week, and then next week will the last official weigh-in of this Bootcamp.

Hope it's all going well, and that this final week can see a few more pesky pounds vanquished Grin

Ok I am stuck. 2 weeks at 191 then 2 weeks at 192.
Each week it goes down a lb or so then back up at the weekend. This weekend I did have cake and wine at a party; since I plan to do this long term there will be occasions where I do step off plan.

I saw 189 once 2 weeks ago.

Yesterday I had scrambled eggs, avocado and bacon for brunch with half a tomato
For mid afternoon snack I had 4 strawberries and cream
For supper I had 4 chipolatas from 'best' range, low carb, plus broccoli and some mashed cauliflower with butter.
Late evening snack slice of cheese and 5 nuts

Plan for today
Breakfast Greek yogurt with cream
Lunch ham salad with mayo and oily dressing
Supper salmon with veggies in butter

I think my water intake has dropped, could that be it?

I am stable/ losing on inches esp round waist.

Thanks BIWI

I am back from my holiday having missed 3 weeks of BC weigh ins.

Although I did have a couple of things I shouldn't - (a lemon mousse one day, a dark chocolate one another , a little fruit with my yoghurts most days - cherries and peaches but definitely no honey!! - and far too much Wine ) I did pretty much otherwise keep on plan. This is the first time I have been away for a holiday and done this .. I did think it might be a bit hard resisting the lovely Greek treats (especially the cheese pies and the oregano crisps I usually go mad on )I didn't crave any of that at all.

When I weighed yesterday I was a couple of pounds up , but this morning back to what I was when I left . 158 - maintaining my 14lb loss over the bootcamp. Really, really pleased with that , I usually put on at least 5-6lbs on holiday ..

Planning to continue this WOE after BC ends . So looking forward to joining any continuation threads

MrsBertBibby · 16/07/2018 08:08

Checking in. 176.5, which is 18 pounds total on bc (2 stone 1.5lb since I started.)

Don't know if it is sustainable, I have really struggled to eat in this weather, so few proper meals really. Even salads are a struggle so it's mainly nibbles of cheese, the odd devilled egg, and tricolore when my partner wants it. But yay. Still a lot of nice clothes I can't get into, but they are closer.

MrsBertBibby · 16/07/2018 08:15

I was wondering if anyone had any reliable info about lo carb and cholesterol. My other half is getting down about his weight, and I reckon this woe would really help (he eats so much sugar!) But he won't consider it because of the high fat aspect. I am pretty sure he has very dated ideas about cholesterol, but I need some science to show him. He has a huge family history of strokes.

abbey44 · 16/07/2018 08:47

Thanks BIWI

Another week, and apparently I've stayed the same as last week - 10.13 - except that I haven't. As in so many weeks this boot camp, after last Monday's weigh-in, I shot up three (!) pounds overnight to 11.2 for absolutely no reason I can fathom and it's taken the rest of the week to shift it.

I don't know why this happens - it's not the first time by any means - as I don't deviate from this WOE. I've been doing it now since the beginning of September last year, so I know when I'm sticking to it, and this bc I have. I'm doing three days a week of the ultra--BC just to keep on track and I wish I knew why it was taking so much effort this time round. Whether it's because it's the last stone I have to lose, I don't know - I know it slows down when you get closer to your ideal weight, but oh God, I could cry sometimes....

Hey ho. Monday morning blues. KOKO anyway.

bettyblueeyes83 · 16/07/2018 08:50

1lb down this week, after slightly more relaxed weekend with sort of events that have previously thrown me off track. I'm at 12.8lbs loss for the whole bootcamp, so really motivated to lose over a pound this week to finish on a stone loss. Fingers crossed!

Nan0second · 16/07/2018 08:50

58.1kg which is a big whoosh (by my body’s standards) of 800g after a 2 week stall. That’s been a fairly consistent pattern since I started bootcamp in January.
I’m now 100g off my (third) target.
This was supposed to be my final target but now I’m here I’m not sure. I’m small framed and my bmi is now 22. The problem is probably a lack of tone now rather than weight per se. Will think on...

BIWI · 16/07/2018 09:06

@MrsBertBibby - congratulations!

Re cholesterol, do you know if your DH's family has a history of high cholesterol, as opposed to strokes? There's a genetic condition which is different from 'ordinary' high cholesterol.

Low carbing should be very good for cholesterol levels, but it's a different story (I think) if we're talking about a family/genetic condition. I'm not the expert here, though (by any stretch of the imagination!) so you need @StuntNun to come along and explain things.

I am still 158. I still only appear to have view only access to the spreadsheet?

TimeIhadaNameChange · 16/07/2018 09:34

I'm half a pound down on last week. I suspect that, come next week, my final weight won't be very different to the one I started at. That's fine with me, though, as I'm very much a healthy weight and though I'd like to be half a stone lighter it's not a big deal. I'll probably keep maintaining and if I do manage to get down any further in the next few months it will be a bonus, but I won't kick myself up if it doesn't happen. It the numbers go up, though, I'll expect BIWI to turn up at my door with her big stick!

Oh, and I'm really fed up of this cold now. Could it please just bugger off. I miss having the ability to breathe without lots of snot hampering progress!

Rayna37 · 16/07/2018 09:38

Laska that's great work on your holiday! I've been an absolute glutton in France and don't need the scales to confirm it (though they will do tomorrow morning). Feeling motivated though after lots of (varied) reading so when I get back, strict with the diet, lots of "2minuteslutions" to reduce our use of plastic and maybe even some Kondo method tidying. I plan to make the most of the last couple of months of maternity leave.

DramaAlpaca · 16/07/2018 09:50

Another pound off this week. I'm consistently losing a pound a week so steady but not dramatic. I'm 9lb down from the start of bootcamp. I really wish I'd taken measurements at the beginning, I'd love to know how many inches I've lost as it looks quite a lot especially round my middle.

clare8allthepies · 16/07/2018 09:55

Stayed the same here but not disappointed as there has been lots of 🍷 over the last few days. Trying to be more disciplined this week.

MrsBertBibby · 16/07/2018 09:56

Thanks BIWI!

I don't think there's a history like that (there's a history of a shit load of smoking, and he never has smoked bar massive secondary smoke as a kid) but he isn't being entirely logical there. He's a lot younger than his siblings so I think a lot of his dietary think is from his big sis, who is 18 years older. It was a revelation to him that you can eat eggs more than weekly, for instance. She's all about the low fat, she's in for a hell of a shock when we go on hols in a few weeks, and she sees what I am eating!

I really hope I can get him to try. He is so unhappy with his weight.

bibliomania · 16/07/2018 09:57

Up a lb. Oh well, the weekend featured crisps, so at least I know what's to blame.

Have filled the fridge with piles of veg, and even had a go at making my own kimchi yesterday, so the path of righteousness beckons again.

3stonedown · 16/07/2018 10:23

Mrsbert My DP is the same re high fat. We just let each other get on with our own thing now, but I do think this WOE would be good for him.

Managed to shift my holiday weight plus a couple of lbs so that's good considering I went off plan Saturday as I was at my dad's for lunch and he made me a chicken wrap (we're not close enough to refuse it) and DD shoved a couple of mini cheddars in my mouth.

DD birthday today so there will be cake and probably sandwiches, should be off by the end of the week though

Lonesurvivor · 16/07/2018 10:34

Morning all, same weight for me again this week too. A little annoying but in the grand scheme of things it's only two weeks.
I'll knuckle down for the last week and see what happens.
Well done to everyone for sticking this far, we are wonderfulGrin

Rshard · 16/07/2018 10:37

That’s very impressive laska

That’s a great weight loss mrsbert

I’m another one who’s only managed to lose a tiny bit this boot camp. I'm reasonably happy with that as it’s shown me that I can maintain easily on this woe. I DO want to get to my target though!! So I will koko.

Here’s to the last week! I’m looking forward to all the support and inspiration on the continuation threads already

prettybird · 16/07/2018 10:51

1.5lb off - down to 11st 5.75lb Smile

That's over a stone this Boot Camp, over 3.5 stone since I started last May and very nearly 50lb off! Grin

....I'm catching you up again ilovecherries Wink (But because I am shorter than you, I've still got 6.75lb to go to get into a "normal" BMI).

Luki · 16/07/2018 11:11

Another one who has stayed the same this week. Understandable though after a rubbish weekend. 30 hour (unintentional) fast Friday into Saturday, broken by 4 glasses of wine Friday night Blush had a disgusting hangover on Saturday morning which I thoroughly deserved. I can't seem to handle alcohol on this WOE so I might just stop altogether unless it's an extra special occasion. Sunday was a low carb but also low fat day Sad

Can't believe we're on our last week already! Lonesurvivor is right, we are awesome!!

itchyknees · 16/07/2018 11:18

Morning! I missed the thread last week, but I’m 24 lb down from my start weight! Awesome!!!!!

boldlygoingsomewhere · 16/07/2018 11:28

I’m in the run-up to TOTM so a bit bloated and retaining water. Think it will be a bit is a whoosh next week as my fat has taken on that slightly squishy look.

ilovecherries · 16/07/2018 11:44

I know, prettybird it’s like my body saw ‘healthy BMI’ and thought job done. I know 70 lbs off is a great achievement, but my vanity is determined to nail that last 10lbs. Although DH helpfully reminds me that I was 25 the last time I was 10.5 stone and maybe it’s too ambitious to think I can weight the same at 60.

MrsBertBibby · 16/07/2018 11:52

Wow itchy!

I am going to see about something nice to wear for my birthday next week.

m0therofdragons · 16/07/2018 12:03

Ive stayed the same at 10 12. I had 2 days at 10 11 so that is quite frustrating but on the plus side, I haven't gone up. I really wanted to be 10 10 by end of August so it's still achievable. Back to swimming this week and I'll see if that makes a difference.

One egg omelette with butter for breakfast and not hungry yet but have left overs from last night's tea for lunch.
