Morning all!

We have four weeks left; time, still, to lose at least another 4lbs or so

Here's the Spreadsheet

Hopefully some good results to report!

I'm guessing you're enjoying the wine/champagne now, @prettybird Grin

Sending big cheers from down South prettybird 🍾🍾
I am half English, half Irish but love watching Scotland play. DH and I fell out for a while this afternoon 😮 I had to watch in our kitchen and him in the sitting room because he was getting so cross watching the match. All better now though. Back in the same room at least 🙂

I have...ahem...taken one for the team in a way this evening by having another one of those brownies I made, warmed up with a heaped tbsp of coconut yoghurt and 4 raspberries. Just to test it you understand. It was lovely and relatively low in carbs. Those were the first raspberries, or any fruit I’ve had since October. The pud was great. A definite treat. (The other 10 brownies have been frozen.)

BlackMozart · 24/02/2018 19:57

Reminds me I must try making the fathead pizza. It does sound good.

prettybird · 24/02/2018 21:35

The Grange was lovely Smile We ended up having a 93 - 25 years old to match the points scored by Scotland Grin It was absolutely fabulous Smile. It went beautifully with the roast beef with a juniper and thyme sauce.

The chocolate lime cake was also lovely. A few amendments to the recipe required - which I think are due to the difference in the way that erythritol bakes (I think it needs a slightly shorter time and/or lower temperature). It also broke when I was taking it out of its tin - but that was just due to my bad handling.

I will post up the recipe once BIWI starts the desser recipe thread.

It all looks gorgeous prettybird

ThumbWitchesAbroad · 25/02/2018 08:03

Chocolate lime cake?? Lead me to it!
My go-to birthday cake is a rich, very moist chocolate cake, and the boys like it to be sandwiched with either raspberry jam or lime marmalade. Sometimes both! (Not mixed together, I do half the cake with lime and half with raspberry and then dust the icing with green or red edible glitter so we can see which half is which)

Down again today. No idea what happened yesterday! I think maybe I hadn't gone to the loo, so was holding onto more stuff than I needed - rectified that today. Back on 12st1, so hopefully tomorrow... Grin

Didn't have my mocha cream this morning, got up too late. Had hard boiled egg and cheese salad for lunch, then roast turkey dinner (with no roasties - wah!). No dessert.

Probably not enough water again, although I have been drinking water most of the day. I really need to get one of those 3L jugs and fill it at the start of each day, but I just know that something would happen to it (boys would drink it, husband would forget and tip it, that kind of thing).

Rayna37 · 25/02/2018 08:34

Not a good food day for me yesterday, my first eating out fail of boot camp!

B: one boiled egg, then an avocado and cheese omelette mid morning.
L: in a pub with a group, black pudding to start came battered. Swapped the mash of sausage and mash for veg, ended up with a plate of carrots and parsnips. Ate everything.
D: both not too hungry so we left planned dinner for the next day; I had microwaved Brussels with butter and a sprinkling of Parmesan.

Rayna37 · 25/02/2018 08:44

Thumbwitches I found a couple of 750ml sports drink bottles which I can get about 800ml into which I fill daily and try to finish, which along with a couple of caffeinated hot drinks and at least a couple of chamomile or mint teas should get me where I need to be with water. I find it harder when I'm out and about for chunks of the day though.
Your menfolk could hopefully be trained not to touch your measured supply if in a specific, off limits container?

Bluntness100 · 25/02/2018 08:51

Well inspired by another thread I put a thin coating of st tropez on this morning and it does make you look better in thr buff. Roll on summer Grin

On the good news front I put on a pair of work trousers I couldn't fasten up a week ago and I got them fastened. I wouldn't go out in them, and if I sat down I'd prob rip em but small victories,,

Onwards and downwards ....

BerylStreep · 25/02/2018 08:54

I'm down on the scales this morning!

Forgot to log food for yesterday:

B. Scrambled egg
L. Pea shoots, coleslaw, roast chicken, tomato, cucumber, mozzarella and sun dried tomatoes
D. Shepherds pie
S. 2 coffees with AM&C, about 10 macadamias

Bluntness100 · 25/02/2018 08:55

Well done beryl...😄

TerfsUp · 25/02/2018 08:58

Morning, all!

Prettybird, that meal looks amazing.

Congrats, Bluntness! That''s fabulous news.

Rshard · 25/02/2018 09:53

Well done blunt^ and beryl*

BadlyParkedRangeRover · 25/02/2018 10:04

What does AM&C mean?

Bluntness100 · 25/02/2018 10:06

Almond milk and cream I think...

MumOfAPickle · 25/02/2018 10:07

Morning, just weighed and I'm down!! 2lbs! Which for me (very very slow loser her) is immense! Let's hope it sticks for tomorrow....
Food yesterday:
B: chicken thighs and then ff yogurt with some berries and cream
L: out for lunch so not brilliant. Deep fired brie, followed by duck breast with veg and more veg (replacing the potato dauphinoise), a few mouthfuls of raspberry sorbet, glass of red
D: nothing
S: none
All in all not too bad. I went to bluewater before the lunch out but as I had packed low-carb breakfast things (which I ate in the car) I wasn't tempted by the ridiculous amount of carby treats on offer.
So so chuffed, roll on tomorrow 😁

BerylStreep · 25/02/2018 10:21

Yes, AM&C = almond milk & cream. I usually also add a dash of hazelnut milk because it gives a hint of praline, but AMHM&C is just too long to type Grin

Bluntness100 · 25/02/2018 10:22

Well done mum of pickle.

I drink my coffee black, so always get a bit confused with the various concoctions 😁

ASDismynormality · 25/02/2018 10:45

Well done blunt and beryl on the scale and NSVs!

Hit a mini goal today, have now lost 120lbs! Next mini goal is to reach the 12’s on the scales, 5lbs to get there!

Rshard · 25/02/2018 10:58

120lbs ASD!!!! That’s awesome!!!

Congrats mumofapickle

ilovecherries · 25/02/2018 11:04

Asd, that's fantastic. You are a total inspiration.

ThumbWitchesAbroad · 25/02/2018 11:05

Rayna - good idea on the bottles. And yes, you would think so, wouldn't you. The 10yo might listen, the husband and the 5yo, less so.

TerfsUp · 25/02/2018 11:17

ASD - wow! That is fantastic.

Congrats, Mumofapickle. It all adds up, doesn't it?

abbey44 · 25/02/2018 11:22

Congrats to everyone who's seen a loss this week! I think my scales are stuck - despite kokoing and all that, they've stayed at 12.2 all bloody week. So close to the 11s and having seen 12.1 a couple of weeks ago, I thought I'd be there by now, but it's not happening. Scales say no. Ho hum.

I'll just have a little Sunday sulk in the corner before I get a grip and take the dogs out.

ASDismynormality · 25/02/2018 11:35

Thanks all!

abbey. If you keep on KOKO you will get there! They are so many times I have felt despondent as the scales haven’t moved but eventually they do and it all feels worthwhile again. I have attached my chart to show how rocky it can be.
