I love this week, because this is when all the naysayers and doubters realise that this WOE really works!

(... and those who've cheated realise that that really doesn't work Wink)

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness for you to record your first loss

I missed most of this weekend as I have my very lovely SIL staying with us, prior to her leaving for a 6 month stint in Australia. So I haven't been able to be as glued to the laptop as I am usually.

Glad to hear that some of you have reported in good losses already - I'll look forward to hearing the rest today!

Good luck everyone, for this second week. Hopefully after a good first week you'll know it's worth it Flowers

5.7lbs down Grin really pleased. Thank you BIWI this is great!! I need the accountability (even if it is anonymous and online) of weighing weekly and your big stick is definitely worth avoiding Grin

midsummabreak · 16/10/2017 08:19

Have a great day everyone 5.8ib down Hope your sister has a great time here in Australia BIWI!

OuaisMaisBon · 16/10/2017 08:19

I'm so sorry, BIWI, I keep forgetting to thank you for running this (and SayrraT for the spreadsheet of wonder) - thank you Flowers Flowers Flowers

chocdog · 16/10/2017 08:19

1lb off.
Very pleased as I have been following this LCHF malarkey as a lurker since the end of August. For the first month I was still drinking wine and I stalled for a while. Once I stopped all booze the pounds began to come off again. I am happy to lose 1lb a week and will keep going on strict bootcamp til I lose another stone. Thanks BIWI.

ASDismynormality · 16/10/2017 08:24

4lbs off this morning which I'm pleased with, thinknot shows how off plan I had been going. My weekend wasn't as strict as my week, too much grazing!

singadream · 16/10/2017 08:24

Marking place.
Could someone please add my new weight to spread sheet (can't do from my phone).
It's 250lb (a six pound loss!)

Escapepeas · 16/10/2017 08:39

Only 1lb down. :(

Kleptronic · 16/10/2017 08:39

4lb down. I'm in the tens people, 3lb into the tens! Gonna stay there too.

HolgerDanske · 16/10/2017 08:44

Escape there is no only one pound! A pound is one pound less than you were at last week, and over the boot camp period you will lose over a stone even if you never lose more than a pound a week.

Well done!

Don't be disheartened, KOKO and your whoosh will come! Flowers

Are there any NSVs you can focus on?

Hippadippadation · 16/10/2017 08:45

I've somehow managed to lose 3.6lbs! I must have had more carb creep than I realised. Really chuffed, nearly in the 8s!

Well done everyone!

Escapepeas - why are you sad? Google a pound of fat - it's about the same size as a tin of beans or big mug. You're going in the right direction!

HolgerDanske · 16/10/2017 08:45

Oh hmmm wait got my pounds and kilos mixed up there! But the principle is still the same. Smile

RaskolnikovsGarret · 16/10/2017 08:47

Hi Grumpy, I am 5 2 and small framed too. I got down from 11 2 to 8 7 over four months this year, but was surprised to see I still had lovely layers of back and stomach fat. I am therefore aiming for 7 13 by the end of the year/early next year, and will reassess then. Three pounds down to 8 4 this week, which is great. The final five will be tough.

Until 30/my second child, I was always probably around the 7 stone mark, like my sister. Am not aiming for this, but under 8 stone might help. Will then start exercising too.

Well done for all the losses today.

CarbyDiem · 16/10/2017 08:51

I’m not supposed to be weighing as I get weird and obsessive about it. But I did and i’ve Not lost anything at all.
So now my brain tells me to fuckit and find something different and i’m Cross. I’m also rapidly going off meat and I know this is difficult without it.
I’ll keep on for a bit but really do need to think about what to do next.

NOMOREoatcakesandcheese · 16/10/2017 08:53

Hi all I’m rushing to get out the door, at a quick skim thru I can see there’s good losses My loss is 1lb. I’ve had a week of being away from home in London so although I tried to keep to LCHF I struggled I’m not surprised it’s not a great loss. Back to my usual routine this week.
Can’t input my weight. I’ll have a go later when I’ve more time.
Bye for now

BIWI · 16/10/2017 08:53

Thanks for all the thanks - but it's not me, it's all down to you! Grin

Really pleased to see the losses.

Oh, and @Escapepeas this is what a pound looks like!

carbydiem I would be like that too. But could you think back over the week - have you really done it properly? Or is there an area you know has been a bit dodgy? You could say to yourself that you should at least finish boot camp - just seven more days - and then decide?

BIWI · 16/10/2017 08:55

@CarbyDiem

List out for me what you've been eating and drinking over the last week and let me see if I can spot anything.

Don't go off the rails and dive into a pool of carbs though! You know that's not going to make things any better.

And you don't have to eat meat for this WOE to work - plenty of lovely vegetarian recipes on the low carb bootcamp recipe thread.

HolgerDanske · 16/10/2017 08:55

I forget Carby, are you new to LCHF or is it a long term thing you've been doing?

If you're new to it, have there been any other positives so far? Try to focus on NSVs.

NutButterNutter · 16/10/2017 08:56

8lbs down - woohoo!! Just the motivation I needed this morning Smile

juneavrile · 16/10/2017 08:57

OH NO followed by OH YES

The scales were set to kg last week. It said 75.5 and I put this into google and it said 11.88lb, so I recorded this as 163lb. This morning I switched the scales back to stones and lb and it said 11.10 (164lb). I was gutted because I'd been good and I also felt notably slimmer around the middle. Checked google's maths. 75.5 x 2.222 (every kilo is 2.222 pounds) and that works out as nearer to 168lb. So I've lost 4lb (and my faith in google!)

Will have to change my spreadsheet start accordingly.

Very happy with that first result and enjoying the thread.

newbebe · 16/10/2017 08:57

Hi
Yippee can you add this as can’t ge5 on the spreadsheet 5 lbs down, so fantastic.🎊🎊🎉🎉🎉😀😀😀

HolgerDanske · 16/10/2017 09:03

Also Carby if you know you get obsessive about weight, have you taken photos yet? Or measurements? Or tried on a favourite pair of trousers or a skirt that doesn't fit at all? If not, do one or all of those today - in future you can then use your actual progress overall to help you to stay positive and feeling empowered.

TimbuktuTimbuktu · 16/10/2017 09:18

Adding my thanks for all the fab organisation and inspiration BIWI

6.8lbs down this morning which I'm pretty happy with, especially considering I did have some booze. Feeling good although finding it quite hard to sleep. Is that a thing?

Plan for today
B- celery with pate and cream cheese
L- Cajun pork stir fry
D- avocado salad

Well done to everyone on their fab losses.

BrassicaBabe · 16/10/2017 09:22

2.2lbs off! And that's despite a mid week whinge about being the same weight for 10 days!!

3lb to go until I've shifted what I put on from an emotional eating binge that lasted June to September!!

GrumpyOldFucker · 16/10/2017 09:23

@RaskolnikovsGarret I was always 7 stone in my late teens and twenties too. Similarly to you, I went from almost 11st to 8st 7lb last autumn, and as I'm in my late fifties my face and neck really suffered! It's a bit better now after a year, but I don't think weighing a stone and a half less would look good on me at this age. I just want to be a healthy BMI, look fine in clothes (never going to look good naked now) and be fit and healthy for an active old age.
