Morning all. Very excited to hear the final scores!

Here's the Spreadsheet for its last outing this Bootcamp

We'll keep this chat thread going, and when it finishes, we'll start a new one so that we can keep the support going until next Bootcamp.

Crispy bacon and mushrooms fried in butter accompanied by a coffee with single cream for breakfast this morning.

Grimbles · 25/08/2017 10:58

Ok. So baked/roasted broccoli is the BEST THING EVER!!!!!!!! Even though I managed to mess it up a bit, it was still delicious.

Note to self, the ends are supposed to be black so don't panic and take it out too early next time.

Am off work today so had a late breakfast, scrambled eggs made with 3 eggs and butter with a little bit of fried pancetta. DS wants to go to Nandos later so bring on the chicken!

Can anyone answer a question about wine? I do like a glass of red which I know is kinda ok-ish when low-carbing. Is the a particular variety I should be going for? I was looking at different wines and there seems to be a huge difference! One variety had almost 20g of carbs per bottle, another was saying 4g (a merlot)?!?

I always thought red wine was high in sugar anyway? I'm a bit confused!

Morning all!
That's amazing oldbooks love a good woosh!

bella that sounds really tough, be easy on yourself and take in one day/operation at a time.

I've had a NSV today, tried on a pair of trousers I haven't worn for years to see how far off they were from fitting, was thinking they'd be good for tracking progress, but I can already do them up, too tight to wear yet, but there is no way I'd have got the button done up 9 weeks ago!

Anyone else feeling apprehensive about the bank holiday weekend, I usually take an extra day off as an excuse to drink and eat lots! Thinking about having an alcohol free weekend to help me stay on track!

Yesterday:
B 2 chipolatas
L cream cheese stuffed chicken breast wrapped in bacon with cabbage & broccoli
D pork steak with creamed leeks and garlic mudhrooms

MOIST · 25/08/2017 11:40

Well. Serves me right for being a carby twat. Although I'm not sure I believe my scales when they say I am 10lbs heavier than this time last week.

But koko and back in it.
B. Fried chicken and Egg mayo
L. More fried chicken and leftover broccoli cheese

Cooking a mincey bolognaise thing to keep me going. I have 3 bastard night shifts in a row. I hate nights. They screw up my rhythms, give me zits, upset my irritable guts, depress me, make me fat and I can't sleep.

NOMOREoatcakesandcheese · 25/08/2017 12:42

Hi all and well done all you losers!!
Grimble as far as I'm aware wine isn't allowed in the first two weeks then it's an occasional glass - say at weekends after that. I've been doing this WOE for 3 weeks and love my wine and thought I wouldn't be able to cut it out but I have and I'm ok with it. We're going to our local tonite and I'm thinking I'll have a red wine but I'm finding that I'm not that bothered about having one after all this time without it.

MOIST · 25/08/2017 12:45

Burnt my bolognaise Sad. Thought I'd turned it off. 2 hours later.........

NOMOREoatcakesandcheese · 25/08/2017 13:50

Oh no, MOIST

ilovecherries · 25/08/2017 14:11

Well, that's a bit rubbish, Moist :(

MOIST · 25/08/2017 14:28

Can't bloody sleep either. Argh.

prettybird · 25/08/2017 16:23

Not all of us have a bank holiday weekend Wink

England and Wales only

ilovecherries · 25/08/2017 17:32

As a Scot living in England for many years now, the August bank holiday still always perplexes me. I've never been able to work out its purpose. Living in the Lake District we basically put the car in the drive tonight and hunker down for three days, trying to avoid the chaos on the roads. And what's it about taking your Christmas trees down before New Year and going back to work on 2 January? Cultural differences I will never understand :)

starsky22 · 25/08/2017 17:32

Sorry pretty and grah and anyone else not in england/Wales!

I have to run in and say styled - I am so sorry that I missed your post and didn't acknowledge you. However, I still love you. Grin Thanks

Off to read the thread and will be back

wombattoo · 25/08/2017 20:31

I'm half way through - bella massive hugs from me Thanks
Grimbles there is a tab on the spreadsheet about egg fasts but you don't need to worry about that at this stage. Not meaning to sound patronising, but it is for long term low carbers really.
C4 That dress looks fantastic. I wish I had half of your skills

wombattoo · 25/08/2017 20:32

Sorry - the egg fast post to lily
