Morning all. Very excited to hear the final scores!

Here's the Spreadsheet for its last outing this Bootcamp

We'll keep this chat thread going, and when it finishes, we'll start a new one so that we can keep the support going until next Bootcamp.

Wow, ASD brilliant results, congratulations.

ShastaBeast · 31/07/2017 10:13

Wooo well done everyone!

I've gained a pound after being naughty on Saturday - although it will drop off in a day or two I'm sure. It shows I can have naughty day and get back to it without it being a big failure and giving up entirely. Lots of lessons to take away and live by for years to come.

I shifted 7lb until this one crept back on. 12lb overall loss since I started. Two inches off my waist, three off my muffin top and an inch and a half off both my hips round my bum (some muscle gain) and off each thigh.

I'm being brace and attaching a before and after pic. 12 pounds difference.

ShastaBeast · 31/07/2017 10:15

And I'll be back for more as I have another 12 pounds to lose. See you at the next bootcamp.

Mimosa1 · 31/07/2017 10:35

Hurray! Down 1.3kg today. I'm thrilled with that. I'll definitely be on the remaining thread as I know I'll easily become discouraged when the first 2 week woosh stops and the losses become smaller.

X

Cherrypi · 31/07/2017 10:56

Caught the toddler's vomiting bug :-( thought I'd escaped it. Well should make me lose a few pounds ha ha ha. Well done on the losses everyone.

ASDismynormality · 31/07/2017 11:05

Well done on all the loses.

cherrypi. Hope you and your toddler feel better soon x

ClearEyesFullHearts · 31/07/2017 11:11

Shasta your 12 lb loss is very clear on the lower belly and upper thighs (both inner and outer). That's a bikini body right there, well done.

And well done to everyone. I admit to being particularly Shock at the 29lb loss someone had--hats off for that one!

I haven't weighed this morning and will do so tomorrow.

This morning my head is just a teensy bit "foamy" from a really fun night out with my husband last night. But got plenty of exercise. Wink #worthit #namastebitches

ClearEyesFullHearts · 31/07/2017 11:13

Oh, and thanks to BIWI and StuntNun and wombattoo and everyone (I know I'm forgetting some) for the sticks and science and spreadsheets and support.

I've been flirting with Bootcamp for a year or two now--this is the first one I've actively participated in for the duration. It feels great.

Naschkatze · 31/07/2017 11:56

Well done everyone, lovely to read all the positive stories this morning! Stars all round!

Another 1lb off for me making 9lbs over Bootcamp and takes me to 9st6lbs which I'm very happy with.

Thank you to everyone here for the support, food ideas and the laughs!

WhatWouldDarylDixonDo · 31/07/2017 13:35

Hi. I'm interested in BC and was wondering when there will be a new one? I was hoping it would be straight after your current one?

It sounds like you've all been doing so well and I'm sick and tired of being two and a half stone too heavy and BC seems like it's right for me. I've done SW, WW, shakes you name it. I want everyday, healthy food. Not fecking jacket potatoes and muller sodding lights!

You look fantastic C4. Enjoy your icecream.

I've worked out why my almond milk tasted different. The first lot was roasted, this one is unroasted. I much prefer the unroasted. (Alpro)

FinallyHere · 31/07/2017 14:14

Thank you and well done everyone (also to all you lurkers who follow along but do not yet post)

I'm down 11lbs this bootcamp, into BMI 28, where our GP says there is no really strong case for him to encourage me to loose weight. I'm feeling so much better, that I fully intend to keep going. This is dangerous territory for me, as I can shop on the high street and have no restrictions doing the yoga, tennis and walking that I enjoy.

I'm feeling so good on this woe that I'm planning to just continue with Bootcamp light and see how it goes. Many thanks, all.

ilovecherries · 31/07/2017 14:32

Before I started bootcamp, as part of my 'I need to love myself fat' initiative, I packed away two suitcases of clothes that were too small. Because I hate E-baying, they were still sitting in the spare room, so today I had a rummage to see if I could find anything to fit me in this interim phase - and apart from a jersey wrap dress and 4 stretchy tee shirts, everything is now too bigGrin. I didn't see that one coming! So I'm off to Sainsbury's to get some trousers, and some pants that aren't always heading south. I haven't washed pants for 10 days now - when I take a pair off at night, they get chucked straight in the bin. Grin

hippadoppaloppagorillapig · 31/07/2017 14:38

Well done everyone. Official weigh in for me is tomorrow. However, from start of BC to start of holiday, i had lost exactly a stone.

The NSVs are astounding though:
acne completely cleared up
cellulite gone
hunger and constant thoughts about food disappeared
running times improved
more clear headed & less tired
general mood improved - I've definitely become more chilled out from being a stresshead
flat stomach

Even though I haven't lost shedloads of weight, my body shape has completely changed, ie my waist is 25 inches, which is seemingly incongruous with being 9 stone 8 lbs at 5'3.5".

Almost best of all, I've "met" some lovely people!

Thanks BIWI for bootcamp, it really is a life changer!

TimeIhadaNameChange · 31/07/2017 15:01

Well, I think I've lost about half a stone since I started so I'm pleased! I say 'think' - my scales gave me an error message this morning (before I stood on them, before anyone asks!) so couldn't get today's figure. I did manage to get a weight yesterday afternoon, so I'm sort of using that, plus my actual starting weight on 11'1 which I weighed the Friday morning before BC officially started (as I started on the Thursday).

I'm chuffed, especially as was on holiday last week and, although I told my friend what I'd been doing I said I was happily going off piste for the week as I didn't want to make things harder for her. I think she got the message from the amount of alcohol I consumed! But it was good - we had a great laugh! I had some bread (I was in France, it was fresh, how could I refuse???) and a couple of biscuits so I did veer quite a lot, but at the same time I was eating far less than I used to. I've stayed off since I came back for various reasons, but am back on track today. As DP's away til Sunday it'll be very easy to keep to the rules, plus, hopefully, I'll be cycling each day too which will help.

It's been great being able to wear t-shirts that once more fit over the hips. They may be a bit snug, but for a while they would not go down but just be bunched up around the waist. I also got some old jeans down from the loft which I'd put up as I couldn't do them up - they were on the tight side but kept falling down! Very odd.

Anyway, I'm going to KOKO as I'd like to lose another 2 stone. Bizarrely I think my body shape is now what it used to be about a stone lighter - no idea how that works, as I've not put on that much muscle. But I'm not complaining!

Mimosa1 · 31/07/2017 15:04

Congratulations to everyone on their losses! Very inspiring for a new starter.

WhatWould the new BC will start in October in the run up to Christmas, i believe, but people are planning to keep on posting on this interim thread for support.

On a separate note, how is grapefruit so carby?! I love it, and it's always been presented as a "diet" food. Didn't have it at my favourite brunch place today.

ShastaBeast · 31/07/2017 15:10

I can't believe how big the losses are. I can't say it's been a slog, with a bit of prep it's been pretty easy but so damn slow. However there probably are reasons such as medication and being a bit disabled/in pain. Once I'd accepted it was going to be slow it's been easier to keep up motivation. Anyone with extra issues in their life, most of us probably, is going to have a few stumbling blocks. And if anyone is stalling or gaining, this is ok and most of us will find the losses start again after a few weeks. Just keep at it.

Weirdly I'm now at the weight I mentally was at when I started, I was shocked it was so much more although I was too scared to jump on the scales until I'd committed to this diet. So not quite ready to jump around in a bikini this year but I should be at my target weight by my birthday and then Christmas - a challenge for sure!

WhatWouldDarylDixonDo · 31/07/2017 18:00

So would it be ok to start my own BC now and post on here? I don't want to wait until October!

prettybird · 31/07/2017 18:12

Absolutely whatwould.

Read the Rules (which are available on a tab on the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness that BIWI linked to in the OP of this thread) and get going Smile

Many of us will be continuing on Boot Campi Lite (not so strict on alcohol, 3 meals a day, nuts and berries) but some of us will.

But we can all advise and cheer you on! Grin

prettybird · 31/07/2017 18:14

Sorry - wasn't very clear - some is us will be continuing on full Boot Camp Smile

I'll be continuing on Boot Camp Lite as I still have c3 stone to go.

wombattoo · 31/07/2017 18:29

Hello everyone.
Welcome Whatwould Jump right in. BIWI needs a little break from us bootcamp, but she usually still pops in to the ongoing threads to give advice where required.
C4 and Shasta - great photos and I can really see the difference.
There have been some amazing losses Thanks

Distractotron · 31/07/2017 18:51

Well done everyone. Really inspirational!

StuntNun · 31/07/2017 19:20

Lots of great results and well done to everyone for getting to the end. It's just over four years since I started Bootcamping under BIWI's expert guidance and I want to encourage you all to keep going. I was heading for a life of obesity, instead I've spent the last three years in the normal BMI range. But it's the transformation in my health and my health prospects that makes this my way of eating for life. A number of chronic conditions have f-ed off with the fat: IBS, asthma, period pains and PMT, arthritis, gum disease. I also feel healthy, have more energy, and know I'm in a better position to avoid or delay the diseases of civilisation such as heart disease and diabetes.

KOKO

Grah0SoontobeaFatty · 31/07/2017 19:47

Congratulations everyone, and look forward to staying with you all in future.

Once again BIWI great job, pay in financial ways might not be anything at all. BUT you have a life saviour for many and with StuntNun and Wombattoo and MNnet for the hosting it is truly great that you all provide so much help for so many complete strangers.
