I don't think that BIWI has managed to post a new thread so I'll do this one.

I don't have the wise words of BIWI so I'll just say that by now you should be more in the swing of lcing so just keep it up and remember, only 1 week until bclite.

Hopefully you all have a successful weigh-in but if not, don't be disheartened. Post for some help and we will do our best.

2lb off for me. I would have liked a bit more but I caved to a banana and peanut butter sandwich before a 10k race at the weekend (and maybe had a slice of cake to celebrate after). No plans for this week though so back on track.

Duckiesprettycrazy · 29/05/2017 08:05

4lbs off since Friday, feeling a lot less wobbly than normal. Am down to the weight I was last year when I thought I was really fat!! Grin

AdalindSchade · 29/05/2017 08:05

3lb off on Friday which I'm sorry but I'm inputting because I have had a fail weekend and I don't want to weigh again until I have had a few days back on it.
I'm back with a vengeance this morning. Haven't planned meals yet as going to supermarket before lunch so I will see what nice veg are available. I have a swede so I may cook that.

Things I noticed about eating carby over the weekend -
Bloated tummy and wind especially first thing in the morning
Hunger pangs something fierce in the morning
Lightheaded and wobbly when waiting for lunch which was late
Sleepy in the afternoon
Feel nauseous this morning. Haven't eaten yet but going to make a creamy coffee and drink 2 pints water. I want to be feeling good again asap. I didn't get carb flu as such so hope I won't get it again

HemanOrSheRa · 29/05/2017 08:11

Duckies Grin.

HemanOrSheRa · 29/05/2017 08:15

Oooh. I have lost an inch off my enormous waist and hips! Nothing off my big boobers though, which is odd because my bras feel a little more comfortable. Maybe I have lost some hideous back fat Shock Grin.

readyforno2 · 29/05/2017 08:19

Thanks glen Flowers

OldBooks · 29/05/2017 08:23

Small gain here. Feeling like a big fat failure. But what did I expect. Back on it this week, and no more carb creep. I really want to be consistently below 16 stone

wombattoo · 29/05/2017 08:23

Done secret Don't be disheartened. A loss is a loss Smile

wombattoo · 29/05/2017 08:25

OldBooks please don't feel like a failure. Positive attitude and all that. This is a new week, new start. You can do it Thanks

BIWI · 29/05/2017 08:25

Thanks SayrraFlowers

BIWI · 29/05/2017 08:25

@GetReady I can't believe you're disappointed with a 5lb loss! What were you expecting?!

Cherrypi · 29/05/2017 08:28

2 year old was why I was up. Boo. Also had a fry up and bras are also fitting me better. Less of the dreaded double boobage.

GetReady · 29/05/2017 08:29

I weighed Thursday and was one pound less! So, at least 6! But, given I have 100lbs to lose overall, I thought at least 7!

😩

HemanOrSheRa · 29/05/2017 08:29

Ach OldBooks, you can do it Flowers. Have you taken body measurements? Taken photos of yourself in your underwear/swimwear? You may see positive changes that don't show on the scales.

wombattoo · 29/05/2017 08:31

Can I just say - as BIWI pointed out, there was quite a lot of cheating last week which included me. There are also posters who have been eating this way for some time and are more bc lite. It may cause a bit of confusion to see some people eating berries etc.

Read the rules so you know what you can have on boot camp and what you can't. It does work if we stick to the rules

Also, some posters will have big losses and some of us won't. We are not all starting from the same place so try not to get disheartened.

Sorry if this sounds like a lecture. It's not meant that way.

koko Thanks

ilovecherries · 29/05/2017 08:35

I'm down 3.5. I'm a tiny bit disappointed with that, because that amount is just within what I might see as a day-to-day variance, so I was hoping for at least 4. I've stuck rigidly to the plan, except for when I had that funny episode on Friday, when I did have an urgent banana and OJ. I've def had a vast IBS improvement though, and as a consequence my normally rigid belly is now soft squishy fat rather than hard, rigid and distended so I know something is changing.

MyShinyThing · 29/05/2017 08:35

Thanks for the new thread Sayrra.

Well done everyone on the brilliant loses, I love reading how well everyone is doing. I find it really motivating. And KOKO all those who are disappointed this week, next week will be better!

I've lost 0.8lbs this week so not great, that's what I get for complaining of a 2lb a week loss Grin.

Saturday was a massive fail. I had a creamy coffee for breakfast as I wasn't hungry. We were then out all day & ended up having to find lunch in a hurry as DS was feeling a bit ill. The only place we could find was a Costa so I thought I'd just wait it out as we were going to a BBQ at about 3. Except the food then wasn't ready until 6 & I was starving. When a bowl of crisps appeared at about 4 I'm afraid I couldn't resist. I felt terrible Sunday morning but then had a much better day with some wonderful LC BBQ food.

On the plus side af took me completely by surprise as I had absolutely no cramps, none of my usual painful hormonal spots & no PMS! That alone is worth sticking to the WOE! I have so much more energy as well, I feel fab.

I hope everyone has another good week! Sorry for the small essay!

FinallyHere · 29/05/2017 08:35

'Morning all. Gratters to all you losers (!) and KOKO to us all. I'm another weigh-in refusenik: once a month is plenty often enough for me to see the trend (1.4lbs/week hurrah) without getting distracted.

Lovely boost yesterday, when my mother (90 years young and always slim after a lifetime of iron control of her eating) mentioned that my bottom 'has disappeared, your knickers are waaaay to big'. I'll take that as a compliment even though it 'sounds' like a complaint. I had been updating my jeans (down from size 22 to 14) but not really thought about changing my undies. Onwards and downwards.

GetReady · 29/05/2017 08:36

Wombattoo - googled 'koko' - I guessed it meant 'keep on keeping on' but wanted to be sure... the urban dictionary definition is that it is nigerian slang for 'pussy'

Makes your sign off a bit more edgy!😂😂😀😀😀😀😀

cathyandclare · 29/05/2017 08:38

Well done everyone!
5lb down here which I'm chuffed with as I've been LCHF for a while, just goes to show the difference it makes when you do it more strictly. Also an inch off my waist. All in all a good start, 4 weeks to get into my dress think I'll need another inch off at least
B: Creamy coffee
L: Homemade leek soup with an exploded babybel
S: Chinese spiced pork belly with crispy kale

notevenamum1 · 29/05/2017 08:39

5lbs off!! And was horrifically calorie counting before this which I hated every second of but I had lost 3lbs then (in 3 weeks) so 8lbs in total...so happy! 1 more lb to get into the 12s. AF arrived this morning but do did a big poo Blush so hoping these offset each other! Well done everyone on your losses, so inspiring to read xx

HemanOrSheRa · 29/05/2017 08:41

My belly feels the same ilove. Obviously it is still big but definitely soft and squishy now! I can also pull it in a bit which I just could not do a week ago which means my posture is better. My lower back ache/pain has gone too Smile. I am also feeling as high as a kite this morning Confused. I hope this is normal!

wombattoo · 29/05/2017 08:43

@GetReady Blush
It was keep on keeping on - honest Grin

wombattoo · 29/05/2017 08:45

Finally from size 22 to 14 is incredible. Go you!

OldBooks · 29/05/2017 08:48

Heman my measurements were stable this week, did have 2 inches off waist last week though.

I will definitely KOKO, I felt utterly hideous yesterday after carby Saturday. No way am I going through that again. It was almost a migraine. Even if I don't lose weight I feel better on this WOE.
