Morning all

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness once again

A horribly busy week for me, so apologies if I'm not around quite so much Sad

I hope the scales have been kind to you, but don't forget to take your measurements as well.

Hope you all have a good week

Mothership - duck pancakes! Just don't eat the pancake. Lots of lovely duck, cucumber and spring onions. Just need to get some additional fat. Beef and green pepper. Sauce will have thickener but you can fish out meat and veg. Soup?

StrawberryLeaf · 13/06/2016 14:18

I've been a bit awol, busy week at work and with family!

I wondered if someone could update me down a pound?

IndianaJone · 13/06/2016 14:28

I lost 2lbs and happy with that after sts/minuscule losses last couple of weeks. I've really found MFP really helpful to keep track of protein especially. If I recall correctly too much protein can cause insulin spikes and I am quite prone to eat too much of it!

Would someone please add it to the spreadsheet for me please.

To Guy and everyone else who had a tough week - KOKO. Hopefully next week is going to be your week. Flowers

Eva50 · 13/06/2016 15:04

Sts this week. A bit disappointed but will KOKO and hope things will move downward next week.

Coffee with cream
B. Strawberries, Turkish yogurt and walnuts
L. Chicken salad with mayo and a bit of blue cheese
D Green Thai curry with konjac noodles

stilllovingmysleep · 13/06/2016 15:08

I am so sorry to hear about everyone who feels stuck or who even put on weight: try not to get discouraged! It's important to see this as a long term commitment.

SingToMeInFrench · 13/06/2016 15:33

5lbs off for me this week. Very pleased with that.

My official weigh in is tomorrow though....I'll take 5lbs though

KOKO everyone!

anniebambammie · 13/06/2016 15:35

I stayed the same this week... Busy week at work and too much processed meat, salmon etc and not enough veg I suspect! I'll KOKO and try and do better!

Very grateful if someone could update ss for me .. anniebambammie 161

Thanks all for your support last week when i finally (sic) peered round the door again. After just over a week of being back on this way of eating, i feel really good again, as if i am looking after myself well. That terrible craving for sweet stuff anything sweet has disappeared as it did last year when i was doing bootcamp. As an additional bonus, i fit back into one size down jeans, hurrah, hurrah, hurrah

For the record, though, getting rid of that desperate, insistent urge to eat is the best reward, I'm just so glad the smaller jeans come with this way of eating, too. xx

Patterkiller · 13/06/2016 16:08

singtome Wow fab loss. I forgot to weigh this morning so will update tomorrow although my weekend has let me down again. I'm struggling with social gatherings when you don't have the deciding factor where your eating. We went for tapas in the end but I did have sangria and the horror bread Blush.

WanHeda · 13/06/2016 16:29

Regular & Mary - your food looks amazing!

SayrraT · 13/06/2016 16:47

Just had a quick scan through the thread but being very selfish and just posting an update.

I am 1 lb up this week but I don't really care, I had a great time in London though all my friend seems to do is eat (and definitely no LC!!!). I thoroughly enjoyed everything I ate and I am back on track with food now.

OH had his meeting with work and he still has his job, for the moment, they told him that they were not happy with his progress and results but hadn't actually realised some of the sales that OH had made Hmm So that threw them a bit. Still convinced that they are going to get rid of him but they are not as daft as I thought they might be. They have given him 2 months to improve and want daily updates on where he has been that day. I am sure that when the 2 months is up they will get rid of him, they are just doing it by the book.

OH isn't sure that he wants to work for them anyway so has started looking for a new job closer to home.

He spoke to his doctor today about the crash and his doctor is happy for him to continue driving and hopefully he will not lose his license afterall. So in the end up things were better than we thought that they might be.

regularbutpanickingabit · 13/06/2016 16:52

Sayrra- that sounds as good as it can be right now, both with him driving and having a couple of months of breathing space to find something better on his own terms.

Wan - thank you!

Whistle73 · 13/06/2016 16:58

Sayrra - that's a lot more positive - what a relief about him being able to continue driving.

Singtome - 5lbs is awesome! Well done.

Have been headachey and craving sugar today, but I barely ate yesterday and think I'm paying the price. Have been a lot more sensible today.

LaserShark · 13/06/2016 17:09

Whistle I'm with you on the sugar craving headache front - feel very carb-fluey today after yesterday. Hopefully will pass soon. It's nice to see some good news and positive updates on the thread as well!

CiderwithBuda · 13/06/2016 17:25

Sayrra - that is good news. Fingers crossed he finds a job closer to hone.

Well done on losses everyone. And KOKOing everyone else - especially me!

NotdeadyetBOING · 13/06/2016 17:49

Is it normal to feel totally knackered? I am 2.5 weeks in and just shattered. Am normally pretty full of energy.

ClopySow · 13/06/2016 17:49

I point blank refuse to get on the scales today. I haven't (sorry tmi alert) pooped since friday. I'll jump on them tomorrow or wednesday after the senakot has taken effect.

MaryThorne · 13/06/2016 17:53

Notdead I've been just the opposite, feeling full of energy.

The Diet Doctor (who has some pretty good content) suggests it could be down to not enough salt if you're tired/ lacking in energy on a low-carb diet.

margaritasbythesea · 13/06/2016 18:04

I do realise that about cashews BIWI. Choice from an uninspiring motorway service station so I didn't have to eat the lunch. Better of two evils.

Off to read the rest of the thread.

Mookbark · 13/06/2016 18:06

Flowers for all those who are struggling, but please koko as it is worth it. I've given up before, only to put weight on and feel crap. I'm determined to stick with it this time.
Sayrra I'm glad you had a good weekend and end better news about your DH. Hope he finds a new job soon, they he can tell them to stuff theirs.
Sing great loss, and well done to everyone else who has lost.

So, my training day went ok. Although it reminded me again what a male orientated job I have (12 men and me in a stuffy room all day!)
Lunch was a pleasant surprise as it wasn't sandwiches. It was beef or veg chilli. I went with the beef one and took out about two dozen kidney beans. I had it with green beans and cauliflower and salad leaves. They even had olive oil as one of the dressing options. I've drank too much coffee, but apart from my creamy ones on the way to the train this morning, they have all been black. They had a water cooler, so I have drank as much as I could today but haven't been able to keep track.

LaserShark · 13/06/2016 18:22

Think I have been properly bootcamp today:

B - scrambled eggs with cheese and a couple of baby plum tomatoes, bowl of Greek yoghurt with cinnamon
L - tuna mayo with salad
D - bolognese with grated courgette and spinach leaves, bowl of Greek yoghurt with cinnamon
Two creamy coffees and 3l of water so far, no snacks.

wombattoo · 13/06/2016 18:36

Hello everyone
I have updated the s/s.
There are some great losses.
Thanks for all those feeling a bit fed up.

SoMuch Have you posted out a couple of days of what you have been eating? It is easier to spot anything that way. Don't get too despondent as it will happen for you.
Guy I hope you are doing ok Thanks
I think the threads have been very supportive this bc. Thanks to everyone

Iamdobby63 · 13/06/2016 18:42

SoMuchToBits As suggested above and if you haven't already done so do post a couple days of full menus including quantities and drinks. It is also possible to overdo the protien which can lead to no weight loss. It would appear that dairy isn't the problem.

PlayNice · 13/06/2016 18:47

Ugh, after all my enthusiastic advice on resisting food, I went to a friend's house and had a big roast dinner, wine and an ice cream sundae. Shame on me.

I'm weighing for the first time on Friday so I need to be really good this week.

PlayNice · 13/06/2016 18:48

Congratulations to everyone who lost and Flowers to everyone who didn't. Hopefully now week 3/4 is done, it'll get easier.
