Morning all

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness once again

A horribly busy week for me, so apologies if I'm not around quite so much Sad

I hope the scales have been kind to you, but don't forget to take your measurements as well.

Hope you all have a good week

Guy - don't apologise and feel you have let anyone down. If you've had a stressful time you've had a stressful time. Keep posting. We are all in this together and life throws us all curveballs at times. It's not always possible to stick to it both practically and emotionally. I think quite a few of us are sort of starting afresh this morning, I know I am.

reader77 · 13/06/2016 08:53

Just a pound down this week.

Sorry to hear some of us have stalled/gained but KOKO Flowers

Xoticdreamz · 13/06/2016 08:56

Morning ladies , I'm feeling so pleased , weight down to 125 if someone could please stick it on the spreadsheet
I have been really strict this week , no alcohol and loads of water .
I have also been to the gym twice .
KOKO everyone and well done on everyone's losses.

bettyblueeyes83 · 13/06/2016 09:05

Guy being kind to yourself sounds exactly right, I hope things feel better soon Flowers

LaserShark · 13/06/2016 09:05

I won't tell you all what I ended up eating yesterday except to say that I made sure to enjoy it - except a piece of bread which was just like tasteless pappy stodge. Has definitely put paid to any sandwich cravings for me! I was also careful not to overeat anything AND my MIL did loads of housework whilst she was here so it was all completely worth it. And she made chocolate cake with ground almonds rather than flour and melted dark chocolate so if I pretend it didn't have a ton of sugar in as well then it was completely fine. My all time favourite biscuits are in the cupboard now and I must ignore them!

Other plus is that I haven't had any alcohol at all on Bootcamp, firstly due to painkillers and now because I imagine my tolerance is destroyed and I don't want to risk falling or stumbling whilst my foot is still healing. So I feel like yesterday was a contained and planned slip-up.

Interestingly, MIL was talking about the social pressures to eat and how people can eat to please others in relationships. It is so true and also ironic. I have no regrets anyway.

Woke up incredibly thirsty and have been guzzling water all morning. Also am especially hungry and making sure I am full-on bc all day today and not going anywhere near the biscuit tin. I have a mentality of 'I've started so I'll finish, it won't hurt just to eat them all and have done with it and then it'll be over' which has sabotaged many a diet of mine before. I'm not giving in to it today!

NotdeadyetBOING · 13/06/2016 09:15

Oh Guy. Of course you haven't let anyone down! So sorry you are having such a rotten time. Try not to beat yourself up about things. Being kind and gentle to yourself is key. If/when you feel more at peace then you'll want to eat well. In the meantime - have a big bunch of Flowers

flyright · 13/06/2016 09:15

Flowers Guymartin. Hang in there. We're all here to help each other whether we're securely on the wagon or wandering off in the fields somewhere.

nekobus · 13/06/2016 09:19

Sorry to hear that your not feeling great, Guy, Flowers but you have not let any of us down and many (most?!) of us have had off days/weeks with this woe - well done for getting back on the wagon this week. I love the IPD book and cookbook, great for getting your head back in the zone

2 off for me this week so not a real whoosh in the end but I'm happy with that.

Well done all and KOKO

AuntieMaggie · 13/06/2016 09:22

To those struggling for whatever reason please be kind to yourselves - life is hard and beating yourself up for what you've eaten or drank doesn't help it just makes you feel worse. I know this is easier said than done Flowers

I've been absent as life is ridiculously stressful and manic at the moment... it should calm down in about a month... I hope!

Can someone please update the ss for me with 99. I did hit 98.6kg last week on several days but I'm 99kg this morning. I really need to give up weighing daily!

I had a gin and slimline tonic at a event over the weekend as for some reason drinking dark rum in the afternoon feels wrong and it was so sweet I couldn't drink it! So when I go away on my girls holiday it looks like rum or vodka and diet coke for me... I'm intending to eat low carb and avoid shots and cocktails as much as I can as I don't want to sabotage what I've managed to achieve.

Anyway I need to do some work! Good luck for this week everyone Smile

GuyMartinsSideburns · 13/06/2016 09:28

Thanks for all the kind words, much appreciated. Flowers

BIWI · 13/06/2016 09:34

Guy Flowers
Take care and be kind to yourself. That's the most important thing.

As others have said, you haven't let anyone down. We're all here to support each other through the good, bad and in between.

HumphreyCobblers · 13/06/2016 09:56

I fell off the wagon this weekend, and got my just reward, which was an attack of gall stone pain that kept me up all night. It just goes to show that, for me, a high fat low carb diet works to keep the gall stones at bay, but the minute I introduce carbs into the mix I am asking for trouble. All the doctor's advice was to go low fat Hmm which I am not up for, frankly.

blackteaplease · 13/06/2016 10:07

Argh, 1.8lbs on after a manic week with poorly children. I have been logging weights since the start of last bootcamp and can see that overall there is a downward trend but I have been yoyoing the last couple of weeks. This is tough but I must koko.

RoundTheBend · 13/06/2016 10:09

I cannot believe I only had 1.5lb weight gain this week. Since Friday I have had a visitor and we have eaten everything which is totally not this WOE and drank so much alcohol it is unbelievable. She goes home tomorrow morning and then I am straight back to eating properly. She really dislikes it when I do this WOE. We went out and had a meal in a pub yesterday, HUGE portions and then in the evening, she was hungry again and I wasn't but she cooked another meal. I only had a really tiny bit of that as my stomach was still bloated from all that we ate at lunchtime.

I KNOW this WOE agrees with me and I so want to lose the weight. I was spurred on on Saturday as we went clothes shopping and I bought nothing as I hated everything I tried on as I just felt so fat.

Xoticdreamz · 13/06/2016 10:13

Flowers Guy and anyone else feeling a bit shit.

regularbutpanickingabit · 13/06/2016 11:02

Just over 3lb down here which I am so so chuffed with. A total of 12.7lb down so far. Wow.

My plan for entertaining worked well, thank goodness, I made chicken liver pate with butter and herbs, smoked mackerel pate, fried courgette slices with chilli, feta and mint oil, aubergines with tomato, basil, olives and capers and a mozzarella, tomato and avocado platter. They all had fresh bread to soak it all up and I used parmesan crisps and celery.

Dinner was whole trout with butter, almonds and lemon thyme served with green beans, butter and toasted almonds. They had new potatoes.

Will try and add some pictures.

I did have my first (planned) wine - a glass of white with lunch and a glass of prosecco with dinner. They were very nice but I didn't actually finish either. I cannot tell you how unheard that is. I mean, I would normally have at least half a bottle of each. Minimum.

B - fage yog and some cheese
L - buttery scrambled eggs with fried mushrooms and avocado
D - chicken, lc sausages, spinach salad and left over mint/feta oil, leftover courgettes/aubergines
S - picking at bits of leftovers

Another pound down for me. Have only lost 4lb in total, but am happy with that progress, Just about another 12lb to lose.
Sorry so many of you are having such a tough time of it at the moment. Hoping this week improves for you all.

ReggaeShark · 13/06/2016 11:36

Those platters look fabulous Regular. SoMuch, I can't imagine what's going wrong but please don't give up before BiWi has a chance to come on and dispense some wisdom.

I gained 2lbs last week following planned wineage and dinner out twice but I had hoped I'd get away with a pound. Ah well, onwards and downwards.

MaryThorne · 13/06/2016 12:15

Ok, back on it today. 2 litres of water so far. Coffee with extra thick double cream x2
B: 2 eggs scrambled in loads of butter with lots of smoked salmon
L: haloumi fried in butter and coconut oil with baby spinach sautéed in butter and coconut oil
D: think it'll be something like pork steaks roasted in fat with cheese plus some sort of green veg

Here's lunch

I am confused as definitely FEEL smaller - especially waist - but no change on scales. Haven't measured myself so can't be sure, but feels very much the case. Bottom smaller etc. Can't quite get my head around what's going on….

MissRainbowBrite · 13/06/2016 13:10

Just a pound off this week but it's a pound in the right direction so I'm happy at that after nothing budged last week.
Could someone add me on the spreadsheet please.
MissRainbowBrite 141

trixymalixy · 13/06/2016 13:20

Well after moaning that the scales weren't showing any loss, they showed a pound off when i weighed myself this morning, hurray!

Could someone add 165 to the spreadsheet please?

MothershipG · 13/06/2016 13:24

1.5 down but a challenging week ahead - DD's birthday on Friday. She's chosen an Oriental buffet place to eat out at and wants a coffee and chocolate cake!

So with rice and noodles out and everything covered in sticky sauce I think that will be a tough one! Any tips?
