Morning all

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness once again

A horribly busy week for me, so apologies if I'm not around quite so much Sad

I hope the scales have been kind to you, but don't forget to take your measurements as well.

Hope you all have a good week

Restless legs - I get it regularly and was tormented by it in my last pregnancy. You can alleviate it by avoiding caffeine in the late afternoon/evening and by lying on your back with your legs vertical up against the wall. Having a bath can help. Sometimes nothing works though. I hate it!

wombattoo · 17/06/2016 16:23

Play Well done on the loss. Thanks
margaritas I've updated your weight

ReggaeShark · 17/06/2016 17:38

Out for tapas tonight, which should be good, but you never really know what they put in stuff do you.

Mookbark · 17/06/2016 17:46

Well done Play, that's very impressive.
Pippi that sounds really tough, glad your back.
Reggae enjoy the tapas.
I've asked DH to get some tuna, if he can. Will have chilli lemon tuna with asparagus and green beans. I'd like to sauté the veg in butter, but will have to do in coconut oil. I think I might put a good dollop of butter on top of my portion of veg. Grin
Looking forward to a weekend off, will have to make sure I stay on track because that's when I get waylaid.

princessconsuelabannahammock · 17/06/2016 18:07

Had a bit of an odds and ends day food wise.

B - BPC
L- hm coleslaw, leftover salad with avocado and cheese chunks
D -2 peri peri chicken thighs with roasted green beans and a small bpc - as i was worried there wasnt enough fat.

Disappointingly half of my holiday clothes are still too tight and i only have 10 days to go so not hopeful. Luckily the place has a washing machine so i can wash everything and wear it again but i did want a week off washing!

LaserShark · 17/06/2016 18:18

Today:
B - Greek yoghurt with a couple of strawberries. Still hungry so scrambled two eggs with butter and leeks.
L - leftover bolognese with some spinach leaves
D - lamb kofta with egg-fried cauliflower rice in coconut oil and one baby corn spear followed by strawberries and cream.

One creamy coffee, a couple of black coffees, two cups herbal tea and a couple of litres of water.

LaserShark · 17/06/2016 18:34

And I really want a square of dark chocolate.

Veryflummoxed · 17/06/2016 18:40

B two boiled eggs on a green dressed salad with mayonnaise

L hm asparagus soup with a swirl of cream

Dinner meatzza (topped with olives and anchovies) dressed green leaf salad, courgetti and spring onion dressed with squeezed lime and olive oil, mixed dressed salad with avacado, pepper, tomato, cucumber. (I just had a taste of the tomato and pepper).

I had seconds ( possibly thirds and fourths) of the salads but I thought about the amount of meatzza on my plate (dh dished it up) and didn't continue to eat it once I was satisfied. (I could have though and will probably eat it for breakfast).

So yes meatzza is delicious. And I think it would make a good pack up for summer holiday picnics.

Thanks BIWI and bettyblue. Couldn't get out for long at lunch so only bought the multi vit. The others will have to be tomorrow.
Dinner in an Indian restaurant tonight. Will go for tandoor meat and veg I think.

regularbutpanickingabit · 17/06/2016 20:55

Yum, just had sardine, tomato, olive, caper pasta sauce on spinach salad with big dollops of goats cheese in the middle. So so good!

feekerry · 17/06/2016 21:05

My good week paid off. Down 3lbs from mon to 143lbs. Could someone pls put my weight in this week as 143lbs? Haven't officially added any weight for few weeks so will use that as starting point. Feel pretty good too Wink

NotdeadyetBOING · 17/06/2016 21:50

Amazing weight loss, Play! You are an inspiration.

DH made supper tonight and it turns out he put breadcrumbs on top of the melanzane parmigiana. Only found out as I was about to tuck into my third helping that's why it was so GOOD-. 'Oh, it was only a little bit' he said. Damn the man - no idea!!

bettyblueeyes83 · 17/06/2016 21:57

B: scrambled eggs with cheese, avocado, Americano with cream
L: Pret pesto chicken mozzarella salad
D: fiery beef salad (real meal revolution - really good)
S: half an avocado, tea with milk, 6 tiny squares green and blacks 70% dark chocolate, Dry white wine/soda water spritz

No snacking for most of day and just had small portion of dark choc this eve, but really feel I could eat and eat tonight.

StuntNun · 17/06/2016 22:46

NotDead my DH is somewhat clueless too. Turns out he thought agave nectar was okay so his low carb frozen mojito was actually full of sugar. Angry Usually he uses granulated sugar which works pretty well.

StuntNun · 17/06/2016 22:47

Not granulated sugar, granulated Stevia.

Mookbark · 18/06/2016 08:46

My DH isn't great at this either. If he is cooking, I tend to be explicit about what I want him to do. I'm slightly frustrated as I think lchf would benefit him and he always says how nice the dinners we have are, but he's still having porridge for breakfast and other non lc things for lunch and snacks. He bought a balsamic salad dressing yesterday (15.6g carb/100mls) even though he has been saying how much he likes my hm dressing!
We have no food in, so I need to go shopping today. So, no idea what I'm going to eat today, except I'm just about to have my second creamy coffee of the day.Smile

ReggaeShark · 18/06/2016 09:39

Any previous IPDers here? If so do you have the kedgeree recipe? Cauli rice, smoked haddock, hard boiled eggs, butter and curry powder if I remember rightly, maybe some shallots would be nice. Am I missing something? I'm thinking this would really hit the spot tonight.

Mookbark · 18/06/2016 10:23

I've got the book Reggae. I'll look in a bit and post it.

nekobus · 18/06/2016 10:25

Here you go reggae

Week 5 - Pre-summer Low Carb Bootcamp - the end of the first half!
Mookbark · 18/06/2016 11:05

Ah, nekobus beat me to it. Grin

ReggaeShark · 18/06/2016 11:23

How kind of you both. Thank you. Stupidly threw my low carb books away a couple of years ago. Might have a look on Amazon or eBay. There was also a lovely 'pie' with a shell of griddled aubergine slices filled with Spinach, eggs and feta. Actually I'm definitely going to buy the books right now!

Gcalgske · 18/06/2016 13:07

Reggae I have the master word document from the pig2twig forum with a lot of the IPD recipes on. If you or anyone else would like a copy drop me a PM with your email address?

ReggaeShark · 18/06/2016 13:33

Thanks Gcal. I've ordered the book now though. Were you on the forum? It was great in the early days. I remember Weemam from Scotland who lost several stones using a Mediterranean version.

Gcalgske · 18/06/2016 14:00

Yip I was on it but probably more of a lurker. Some great chat and recipes over there, passleys custard remains my favourite to this day and 'onion' Bahjis are to die for!

DoingItForMyselfAtLast · 18/06/2016 15:16

Ooh, me please Gcal, will pm you shortly.

I've been travelling since Wednesday and definitely have not been keeping up my water. Food wise, I think I've managed pretty well (and successfully avoided the most luscious home-made pavlova piled high with beautiful fruit!) though some restaurant salad dressings tasted quite sweet to me. If I can be really strict this weekend, hopefully I will still lose. Otherwise I will be happy with a sts.

Well done too, Play!

Want to try the meatza - it's just mince pressed into a tray, with toppings, yes?
