Morning all

<a class="break-all" href="https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Vwh_9-y9ejMjg_sFMCK38uoPqZZFps39T7RY-VdUaI8/edit?pref=2&pli=1#gid=0docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Vwh_9-y9ejMjg_sFMCK38uoPqZZFps39T7RY-VdUaI8/edit?pref=2&pli=1#gid=0" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"> Spreadsheet of Fabulousness is here

No point me weighing in today as the weekend has been lovely shocking. My official weighing-in day is Friday, so hopefully all will be back to normal by then!

Those of you for whom the scales have slowed/stopped, in weeks 3 and 4, hopefully things will get moving again now.

I'm off to Leeds with work for a couple of days, so who knows what I'll be eating? I have, though, packed some boiled eggs, a pot of Total yoghurt and a couple of sachets of tuna in my little cool box, so I know that I have something to eat if the choices available to me aren't low carb.

Good luck all, and hope this is a good week for all of us

My usual mcdonalds is something like a big tasty without the bun, with a side salad. The dressing on the burger may add a few carbs, but i figure its a one off...?

Marking my place, had an awful day yesterday as i was in the car for hours and had to rely on services food. So lets draw a big fat line through that!!

Breakfast today was omelette with cheese and spinach, coffee with almond milk.

FelicityFunknickle · 19/02/2016 11:44

I bloody hate almond milk.
Oh, thanks. I didnt think about just dumping the bun. Grin

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 19/02/2016 11:57

Grr, AF has turned up again only a couple of weeks after the last one finished! I guess that means I'm burning fat, though.

BeyondBootcampsAgain · 19/02/2016 11:58

Its weird tasting, but im getting used to it. Makes a change from black coffee at least :)

BeyondBootcampsAgain · 19/02/2016 11:59

Yeah, too, i have yet another period too! Fourth time this bc, i think? Grin

Mookbark · 19/02/2016 12:54

Yes, I'm another one with mucked up periods. They will settle down, apparently!
I like almond milk as a latte with the spicy chai tea bags, it's lovely and my go-to treat drink of an evening. Don't like it with anything else though. Double cream in coffee, however, is just lush and I have to ration myself to two a day as I could just drink half a dozen of them.
Running away from work now before someone else wants me to do something else and am going to the gym for a run and a swim. Smile Great start to the weekend.

VikingLady · 19/02/2016 13:13

I find almond milk as a latte is a bit too bitter. I miss milk! Is there a LC alternative that isn't bitter?

Gcalgske · 19/02/2016 13:36

There was some talk of lactofree- around 2.6g/100ml

MissSmiley · 19/02/2016 14:03

Thanks for explaining STS. Is it ok if I join you? I've been following LCHF since 2 Jan. I've been away this week for half term holiday and have managed to gain back everything I previously lost! (Only 6lbs but feeling defeated.)
Soneone mentioned a spreadsheet? Anything else I need to know?
Sorry, I feel like I'm gate crashing pls tell me to bugger off if not welcome.

BIWI · 19/02/2016 14:07

You're more than welcome! As are you, StillEndofMyTether!

Just go the spreadsheet that I linked to in my OP, and add your name at the bottom. Scroll along to the right to find last Monday's date and add your starting weight there.

When you're in the spreadsheet, look at the tabs at the bottom. You'll find one there that has Bootcamp rules on it.

And good luck! Flowers

Hello all, good day here although I did have 3 cups of realm tea but minimal milk in them and two earl grey with almond milk, I still think I am over on my carbs though, guess I need to reduce the treat stuff as still having it daily

BreAkthrough on 'operation reduce DCs carbs/wheat/sugar' as DD had the grain free granola for brek with a sliced strawberry and almond milk, they both asked for LC crackers instead of a roll at lunchtime and hoovered their dinner

b - tried something new: mackerel fillets in tomato sauce, de-boned then placed in an oven dish, 2 eggs cracked on top, baked in the oven for about 10 mins served with spinach in butter and good shake of ACV

L - seed crackers with butter, celery stuffed with butter, cucumber, sliced ham from the butchers with an inch of fat, knob of cheese, hm grain free granola bar with dark choc coating - only had matchbox sized portion, it was lovely and very satisfying- DCs loves them too

D - slow cooked ham hock, cabbage in butter And carAway seeds, poached egg

Had some leftover melted dark choc so made some choc covered Brazils, will have a coulple later with a peppermint teA

shouldiblowthewhistle · 19/02/2016 18:47

Hi MissSmiley and EndofmyTether. Half term is difficult for me too. I've been LCHF since 3 Jan but keep cheating which is daft. In a way I'm seeing it as easing into a way of life as I don't intend to ever really go back to eating carbs again. However, I should just bloody well stick with it properly. It's the only way I can see that I can get to a healthy weight. I will once I'm back home from a wee holiday and routine starts again. Trying to limit the damage while away.

Gcalgske · 19/02/2016 19:33

Welcome new folk Grin

Today's food:

Creamy coffee
Pork steaks in 5 spice - no veg, mopped up all the fat that came out with the pork. Needed to go to shops for smoothie ingredients so a bit meh, been really enjoying my smoothies.

Cucumber noodles with tiny bit of shredded carrot and mange tout (15g of each) used my new mandolin/julienne grater and it was excellent (very sharp, massive chunk out of thumb to prove it Confused

Dressed the noodles in sesame oil, soya, chilli, lime juice, tiny bit ginger. Topped with king prawns breaded in unsweetened desiccated coconut and deep fried. Lush lush lush dinner but think I'm low on fat for the day as feeling snacky. Will rectify with a bullet proof tea of some description.

BetsyM00 · 19/02/2016 19:58

Mmm, your dinner sounds lovely Gcal. I'm not hungry but - mmm! Prawns on the shopping list for tomorrow I think!

Wombatinabathhat · 19/02/2016 20:00

Welcome to Miss and Still Thanks

Evening all

Good day for me today - 3lb off! I've eaten a lot today, but made good choices so I'm feeling positive

B - creamy coffee, 2 boiled eggs and greek yoghurt
L - spinach, egg mayo and coleslaw
D - Pork chops with pesto and mozzarella on top, with spring onion, yellow pepper and mushrooms in a cream sauce

Snacks - 2 squares of 72% chocolate and some more greek yoghurt.

I've only recently discovered greek yoghurt and love it now. I'm not sure if I'll buy it again - just too easy to eat loads!

FelicityFunknickle · 19/02/2016 21:08

Well, i stand corrected on the almond milk.
I have used it for a chsi latte (yuck)
Today in coffee: totally acceptable.

StuntNun · 19/02/2016 21:34

Wagamamas went well, I had a chicken salad which was delish and not too carry from the taste. The film was good too if you like stupid cartoon violence and wisecracks.

I love almond milk. I have it in tea, coffee, lattes, chai lattes and hot chocolate.

KeepOn I have pretty much the same breakfast and lunch every day. Dinner is meat or fish with low carb veggies. Easy peasy

Wombatinabathhat · 19/02/2016 22:34

Welcome back keepon*. I eat lc but dh does not. We just add stuff on dinner for him. For example - we eat chicken thighs roasted in a piri piri rub. I have mine with hm mayo and salad, dh might have a pitta bread. Steak and we both have mushrooms sauted in butter and dh adds potato croquettes.

It's little easier because we only have to cater for the 2 of us, but still doable.
Good luck

Sounds good to me keepon Just watch out for processed foods such as bacon/gammon

MissSmiley · 20/02/2016 00:17

Thank you welcoming me. I have found the spreadsheet of fabulousness but can't see how to add to it. I downloaded the app? But now I'm stuck.
On a positive note I have been to the cinema and only had coffee!
