Morning all. I'm not liking this Autumnal stuff at all!

Here is the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness for your first official weigh in

And don't forget there's also the Weight Tracker if you want to keep it private.

You can, obviously use both Grin

If you're looking for inspiration in the kitchen, have a browse of the Recipe Thread and feel free to add any of your own ideas.

I hope that you're all through the other side of carb flu, if you suffered from it, and wish you all a very good second week.

Such a stressful day here! Managed to stay on course so far...but am going to make a planned dismount off the wagon at dinner...I won't say what, but it's (sort of) allowed on BC lite. And it's vital to my sanity at this point. Anyway, shut up about that. So far:
B: sausage meat patties and Boursin
L: bacon and little gem salad with oily dressing and boiled egg mashed into mayo and Parmesan
D: will be roast chicken with green beans and kale
S: making kale chips for the first time, hope they're good!
W: 2.5 litres so far, nearer to 3 by finish
E: post natal DVD - hard level. Done this three times this week now, pleased as its the first time lately, so feel like am proper exercising

Wish me strength for the rest of the evening, I bl*y need it!!

yongnian · 10/10/2014 19:04

OMG kale crisps!!! No one said it was actually crispy seaweed like from the Chinese takeaway !! Will be making this A LOT.

YoureMyWifeNowDave · 10/10/2014 19:11

Is the recipe for the kale crisps on the recipe thread yongnian ? it sounds good Grin

Tanukisan · 10/10/2014 19:55

Has anyone else tried zero noodles? I had them today in a carbonara sauce and I was really impressed. Not quite the same as pasta but they hold the sauce and have no flavour. A good substitute!

ChesterDrawers · 10/10/2014 20:23

I'm having a bit of a love afair with kale crisps too yongnian. I can't believe I have dieted for best part of 20 years and never tried them. Even veg hating DS was tucking in today.

My fave recipe so far is a tbsp olive oil, salt, pepper, Parmesan and a bit of garlic powder. 10 mins on 150c and they are gorgeous.

ClashCityRocker · 10/10/2014 21:22

Another on who cannot believe I've made it through life so far without the delights of kale crisps!

Today I think I've eaten too much, well, I know I have.

B - Greek yog
L - pate. Way too much pate.
T - fake away home made Doner kebab meat, salad and Alioli

Not enough vegetables again! Really need to start planning better. Still, no wine tonight so that's a bonus.

CharlieSierra · 10/10/2014 21:39

Today

B - yogurt, cream, almond butter
L - cauliflower & leek soup, 2 chicken drumsticks
D - salmon steak, asparagus, broccoli, hollandaise

I'm eating too much dairy I think, cream at breakfast and lunch and a ton of butter in the hollandaise. I'm losing weight but still fretting it's not 'healthy'.

SayraT · 10/10/2014 21:52

Charlie butter is ok, you can have lots and lots of that Grin

Food Today

B: two flat mushrooms filled with garlic cream cheese stuff from Lidl, grated cheese on top and grilled, coffee with cream
L:
D: Duck breast, green beans in butter

Hmm, that doesn't look like a lot! I'm not hungry though so its fine.

BIWI · 10/10/2014 21:54

Charlie - you need to do some reading about low carbing, so that you understand that fat is not something to be vilified!

CharlieSierra · 10/10/2014 22:22

I know BIWI, or at least my head knows, but my guilt reflex or whatever it is still thinks I should be eating rabbit food not a great big pool of buttery lemony gorgeousness!

prettybird · 10/10/2014 22:28

Strange as it sounds, but butter doesn't count as dairy on this WoE Confused it's pure fat

Remember to stop eating when you feel full and not just cos you're bored Blush - the fat will help you feel satiated Smile

ChesterDrawers · 10/10/2014 22:31

No booze has passed my lips tonight

Them bloody scales better start behaving or I will be cross!

readyforno2 · 10/10/2014 23:16

SayraT · 10/10/2014 23:28

prettybird · 10/10/2014 23:30

Dh had to drink 2/3 of a bottle of Cava tonight on his own (and put the rest in the fridge) while I was virtuous and abstained Smile

Grin

forgets about dark chocolate and nuts that she had nibbled on WinkBlush

readyforno2 · 10/10/2014 23:32

Thanks Sayra. I'm really chuffed!

SayraT · 10/10/2014 23:48

You should be. How long has that taken you? Did you say before that you started inJanuary? If so ththen even more impressive!

I've got about 6/7 to lose, 2 down, 4 to go. Posts like yours make me realise I can do it Smile

readyforno2 · 10/10/2014 23:55

You definitely CAN do it!
Started on the first day of term after Christmas. 6th January.
It's been pretty hard going but so worth it. Was squeezed into size 18-20's. Am now wearing size 10!!
Had to get new gym stuff the other day and it's SMALL!!

BitchyTakesOnManagement · 11/10/2014 00:49

Ugh, Not a good day. big blip. huge fucking big blip. Office and big boss based source so not possible to avoid/get out of. Went training and drank a shit load of extra water. Feel so yucky. but then again it is nearly 1 am and i probably need sleep. Blush

miffy49 · 11/10/2014 14:23

You've done really well Ready. Do you get a huge kick out of seeing how small your clothes are? I know that's been one of the big plusses for me. I was in a 24 and could have done with a 26 by the time I got onto the LC but I'm in a 12/14 now. Son's girlfriend left a smart little dress in his wardrobe and I had a sneaky try-on! Blush It actually fitted and it was a size 12 from New Look. It looked an absolute devil on me of course but the kick I got out of getting into something from one of those shops where they sneer at big birds was immense! Grin

You can do it Sayra. My doc told me to give up and eat what I fancied as I would never succeed with my various health probs. Red rag to a bull that! So far I'm down 50lbs and have muscles in places where I didn't know I had places! Grin Just focus on how good this WOE makes you feel compared to being bloated up on carbs and the weight loss will follow.

Pisseslikeahorse · 11/10/2014 14:42

Good going ready well done, do you know what broke the stall?
Im getting irritable about it not coming off as fast as it was previously, seems to be very sporadic.

yesterday ended up being a fucker, had more water related problems and have to admit I'm not as good at plumbing as I thought. All dry now .
A good run and then reading the maintenance thread this morning really cheered us up, lets just say I've found an eye patch Wink

B. BPC
L. omelette salad
D. veg curry
w. 9pts

MrsHerculePoirot · 11/10/2014 14:45

Well done ready! Can I ask how many times you have strayed in that time out of interest?

gointothewoods · 11/10/2014 15:20

Great news ready! Well done.

Yesterday went well and have lost more weight, really sticking to the plan does reap benefits.
B: coffee, 2 pints water, bacon and boiled egg
L: spinach leaves, baby tomatoes, cucumber, pepperoni, avocado, 2 pts water
D: Steak, garlic butter, buttered spinach, mushrooms, 2 pts water

I have a strong longing for pizza, must look up that cauli pizza recipe.

BIWI · 11/10/2014 15:25

Fantastic, ready! Flowers

Wow, really inspiring to read about those losses! Makes my 3 stone goal look do-able!! Having a slightly less stressful day but still struggling a bit...I can and I will...I can and I will...I will not self sabotage...I think it is not helped by only having lost 2lb this week so far...I know that is good sustainable weight loss if it stays that way...but I hoped I'd get a bit more off before going at the safe and steady pace I s'pose...anyhow, mustn't grumble
chester mmm yes, am going to be seeking new ways of flavouring up kale crisps..yours sound great....thinking paprika and sea salt also...
Might have to rethink my dairy intake perhaps - question to one of the bc veterans, bearing in mind I'm bc lite, should my weight have slowed off this much this soon? Feel free to slap me if I'm being too moany and should count my blessings!
Back to the water...keep going y'all
Ps ready did you manage your weight loss solely with LC boot camp? Did you exercise as well....? Tell all and inspire us!! And fantastically well done!
