Welcome everyone! I'm starting the thread early because I have to be up and out of the house at stupid o'clock tomorrow morning.

Here is the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness for you to enter your starting weight

If you don't want to put your weight on the public spreadsheet, you can enter it on the weight tracker. (This probably won't be available until tomorrow morning)

If you've joined up very recently, and your name isn't on the spreadsheet, just add it on at the bottom - the very lovely SayraT will re-alphabetize everything later.

best I think you meant pisses Grin

Try Asda pisses I found some blue dragon cc in there last time I was in. I stocked up Grin

Made a really fast dinner with it. A spoonful of thai green curry paste into the wok, and then the cc. When it's bubbling I shoved in a knorr fish stock gizz bomb thingy, and in went two sword fish steaks (whole) two giant prawns (think size of a kitten) and a packet of raw king prawns. Simmer for just a few minutes, and then serve in a bowl. We had fried garlic courgette strips on the top. Manna I tell you.

Blimey - busy day today! 2 hour Chinese class this morning, eyelash tint just after lunch (a hastily thrown down bowl of yoghurt - no breakfast to atone for yesterday, Waitrose shop, prep for pudding and starters, and now off to the gym to see the trainer ... Grin

Just to say, if you look there is a gorgeous recipe for chocolate pots, which you can also make into icecream

The link there is to the recipe thread by the way, which I heartily recommend you browse through, if not to find something to cook, for some inspiration.

Just a thought - is Doner meat ok? I mean meat only with salad and garlic sauce.

I should imagine it's got a high fat content, but not sure how it's made. Recipes on the web suggest it should be ok - there's a bit of onion juice.

And it's obviously processed.

GuyMartinsSideburns · 04/10/2014 16:07

Hi all, haven't clocked in for a few days but all good here! Did my first ever Parkrun today and feeling really happy about it - haven't ran 5k for a few years and also have quite an anxiety disorder so just making myself go was difficult enough! But I went, really enjoyed it and have been feeling lovely all day Grin

Was drenched through by the time Id walked home after so had the best hot shower of my life, and thoroughly enjoyed my scrambled eggs afterwards!

Lunch was tuna mayo and salad but i didn't really like it much, and I'm thinking dinner will be tandoori prawns and salad (i wont have the yogurt that comes with it though, it definitely has sugar in) because I'm knackered and cant be arsed to cook.

Have a good wknd all x

ClashCityRocker · 04/10/2014 16:07

Sorry, meant to post on the question thread!

Just musing after a conversation with my brother.

miffy49 · 04/10/2014 16:08

I can still get Blue Dragon from our local Asda Pisses but I've used the Sainsburys and it seemed OK. To be fair I've had the odd duff Blue Dragon carton so maybe its just an odd carton. It is more expensive than the BD one though so maybe worth a trip to stock up if you have an Asda close by.

Just been on a rampage through Asda and got some lovely belly pork slices to try Stunt's slow cooked version with her recommended MDA barbecue sauce later in the week.

Pisseslikeahorse · 04/10/2014 16:13

Thanks Trashy and Best, Ive had at least 5 packets of sainsbos over the last month or two and they've all separated, ok for sauces but floats in coffee. Will go down and raid Asda next week.

I love green curry paste but DW thinks its a form of torture when I cook with it, something about "Napalm blah blah.. poor children's eyes blah blah... I canth speath mmmy tongue it burnsssss"

prettybird · 04/10/2014 16:53

aNotetoFollowSo - I've posted up my chocolate pots with orange and cardamom recipe on the Boot camp recipe thread

Figrus · 04/10/2014 18:26

B: greek yoghurt, egg
L: mushrooms, rasher, olives
S: some peanuts
D: mussels, green salad, cauliflower with homemade salsa dip.

Just realised my greek yoghurt was 0 percent fat(3g carbs). , which was why i was starving this morning and grabbed the peanuts.

trashcanjunkie · 04/10/2014 18:31

clash I think it has a lot of rusk in it. If I remember correctly, it is possibly not even classed as meat....

pisses I am very sorry for you living with such selfish arses. That said, I may have overdone the amount I put into the last curry.... it packed a friggin punch.

guy the yoghurt from the takeaway does have sugar in, I checked thoroughly last time we had one. But massive well done on your sweaty park run Grin

ClashCityRocker · 04/10/2014 18:37

clash I think it has a lot of rusk in it. If I remember correctly, it is possibly not even classed as meat....

I suspected that might be the case Grin

I do love the taste of them with a bit of garlic yog, gonna see if I can bastardise a recipe for low carb use.

Hobbes8 · 04/10/2014 18:50

I did a roast today, because I bought a chicken and forgot we were going out for lunch tomorrow. It was nice enough - roast chicken with the skin on, roast celeriac and cauliflower cheese with a low carb sauce. I did miss roast potatoes and yorkshires though. Can anyone recommend a fool proof way to thicken gravy?

Tomorrow's a tricky day. Family visiting and then we're going for a curry. I thought I'd do some nibbles - crisps and dip for them, celery and cucumber and dip for me. Hopefully the curry will be ok if I don't have rice and watch things like bhajis. I'll aim to stay off the wine as well.

ChesterDrawers · 04/10/2014 19:06

Clash I put a donner kebab recipe on the recipe thread earlier this year. Tis lush. If you CBA trawling through to find it, google Slimming World donner kebab recipe and ignore all mention of extra lean mince and Frylite!

ClashCityRocker · 04/10/2014 19:21

chesterdrawers you're my new favourite person!!

ClashCityRocker · 04/10/2014 19:24

Especially as I've just realised I have everything in to make it!

CharlieSierra · 04/10/2014 19:55

Feeling better today.

B - streaky bacon, egg, mushrooms
L - chicken, green salad, avocado oil, dollop of cream cheese to dunk my cucumber in, a coconut milk yogurt
D - M&S pork steaks in sage butter, caulflower mash, steamed greens

MrsGuyMartin · 04/10/2014 20:02

Well, dinner for next week will include kebabs and Thai green curry! And I'll be making the chocolate pots for as soon as hit bc light follies closely by the crumble...it's time to take a long look through the recipe thread.

So today has not gone too badly except for water as I forgot to take my water bottle out with me.
B: bacon, scrambled eggs and mushrooms (no work today so only one breakfast)
L: tuna and egg mayo with salad
S: (at the pub) coffee with cream and pork scratchings
T: burger with blue cheese, swede chips with mayo, dressed green salad

W: about 2lts so far
Tea x2 coffee x1

And no alcohol even though DH asked if I'd like wine and when I said I'm off alcohol for a bit he said 'how about a beer then?'.

ClashCityRocker · 04/10/2014 20:09

And no alcohol even though DH asked if I'd like wine and when I said I'm off alcohol for a bit he said 'how about a beer then?'.

Haha that sounds exactly like sort of thing my DH would say. Earlier he asked if I wanted a bacon sandwich. I said no, I'm not eating bread.

He said, don't worry clash, I'll put it in a bap instead....

ClashCityRocker · 04/10/2014 20:10

On and everyone thinks I'm pregnant because I'm not drinking. Great stuff.

yongnian · 04/10/2014 21:02

Checking in...bfing bc lite. Game of two halves today...friends over...details to follow
B: scrambled egg with splash double cream mushrooms and bacon
L: chorizo Boursin and smoked mackerel pâté
D : sausage little gem salad with baby spinach tomatoes and carrot sticks and some pizza topping (I made home made pizzas for everyone and managed successfully to only eat the topping - I didn't really want to advertise the fact I wasn't really eating it. The topping was pretty god low carb wise actually) there was however a regrettable error afterwards...will spare the details but at least it was with double cream...
W: about 2 litres, will try for more but the kids hijacked my big water bottle whilst out.
S: olives
Feeling quite bad about enforced errors...but even so, its a marked difference from the carb fest it would have been normally.
E: none to speak of. I usually have rest days excercise -wise at the weekend.

StuntNun · 04/10/2014 21:13

Hobbes go for a tandoori and not too much of the sauce to minimise carbs.

Tanukisan · 04/10/2014 21:25

Yongnian do you mean you made a pate of Boursin, chorizo and mackerel all together?

I'm BC-lite at the moment as my migraines were kicking back in:

B: smoked salmon and scrambled eggs
L: kale with butter, tuna mayo
D: low carb chipolatas, salad leaves, green beans. Followed by double cream and raspberries.
S: two boiled eggs with spinach

yongnian · 04/10/2014 21:46

Ha no Tanukisan it's an ungrammatical typo! I was in a rush so picked at those three things Grin.
Could work though!
Have your migraines settled now your BC lite? I get them too but not at the mo as mine are linked to my cyce and i'm currently still BFing and period-less.
