Well, finally, we reach the finish line! One more week to shout your shit.

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

And the Weight Tracker

Hope the results are positive for you today - and that the rest of this week gives you time to drop another pound or two.

Afternoon, losers!

Gosh we lot can talk! Not enough time to namecheck, must get back to doing some work - I'm keeping up with the thread (just!) and I feel all your ups, downs, little crisis, big ones and private "yeah!" moments. Thanks to all.

I went up 2, how, I do not know... clutching at straws, but I wasn't very hungry and just snacked (LC!) instead of dined quite a few evenings. Maybe not eating enough? So... back at 1st loss since BC start.

Oh well, must remember what I preach... it's in the trend, onwards & downwards, fat & water, do not despair, carry on doing the right things... Someone hit me with a salami, please...

SnowieBear · 18/03/2014 13:26

keepon just saw your post! Congrats! Thanks

One rule and one rule only: baby and you comes first.

StuntNun · 18/03/2014 13:40

Congratulations KeepOn. Have a look round the Mark's Daily Apple forums for advice on low carbing in pregnancy. I'm no expert but I expect your best bet would be to add in apples, citrus fruit, potatoes, carrots, sweet potatoes, white rice in small quantities and a slice or two of wholemeal bread a day. I would definitely recommend taking a good quality vitamin as well, particularly if you plan to breastfeed.

TwitMcAwesome · 18/03/2014 13:48

Congrats That's lovely news Thanks

monkeyfacegrace · 18/03/2014 13:55

Wow, congrats keepon! So jealous!

I firmly believe your body will tell you what you need Smile

Congratulations Keepon!

WhooshFuckerFairy · 18/03/2014 14:26

keepon .... Wondered where you were ! Congratulations Thanks
I am sure wise ones will be along to advise - but I suspect the foetus will 'take' what it needs from your dietary intake . From my own experiences of pregnancy x3 - the first trimester 'needed' carbs to stop me throwing up !
I guess you should really go with what you fancy - and not give yourself rules . It's hard work growing a baby - look after yourself x

FelixFelix · 18/03/2014 14:29

Congrats keepon Smile

HeirToTheIronThrone · 18/03/2014 15:38

Just eaten 3/4 of a pack of jaffa cakes, because they were there and I am stressed with too much to do. Fuck fuck fuck it.

BIWI · 18/03/2014 16:01

Congratulations, keepon!

And also to you Twit. Bloody hurrah for you at last.

Heir - sorry to hear you are so stressed, but all those Jaffa Cakes won't make you feel better, sad to say ...

WhooshFuckerFairy · 18/03/2014 16:16

heir - feel for you , I know that feeling - but am sure not a disaster .....water/water/water ....
Ps - I have an interview of Friday .......any tips ? I hate interviews ?

HeirToTheIronThrone · 18/03/2014 16:23

Thanks chaps - water all the way, yes, and we're having smoked haddock and poached egg and creamy leeks/kale for dinner so that is something to look forward to! I will shred double hard in the morning too...

Whoosh weirdly I quite like interviews... Tips - take your time. Practice answers to 'standard questions beforehand with someone if you can - things like what you think are your biggest strengths/weaknesses, how you think your current/previous employer would describe you. Be able to talk about relevant experience you have and big it up where you can. Try and relax! And have a good handshake :)

WhooshFuckerFairy · 18/03/2014 16:49

Thanks heir - have got a whole days prep tomorrow so will try all those things out . It's a job that has come up too soon really - I am not completely ready , but they come up so rarely that I have to have a go , even if a very long shot !

monkeyfacegrace · 18/03/2014 17:42

Im out bowling tonight. Not having a glass of wine is gunna kill me.

LittleMissDisorganized · 18/03/2014 17:58

Ooh, well done, Whoosh - I've got an interview next Weds, also need to do some cramming and "why do you want this job" type practising.

keepon huge congratulations, StuntNun's plan seems wise, would it work? Are you very sickly? - that may limit what you can tolerate. Ketosis in the 2nd trimester particularly is not good for fetal development so you are wise to adapt the plan a bit.

monkey if that's really the case, then have you reached the point where you want to live free of that feeling?

I'm shattered and headachy, and I'd so love a night off having to cook the tea. Feel rubbish. Oh well, just do not have the stamina (yet) for the pace I've been pushing for the last few days.

Just a quick SMS and a big thank you to whoever posted the recipe for flaxseed pizza - its bloody gorgeous, I topped mine with steak strips, garlic mushrooms, salami and loads of cheese and had leftovers for breakfast.

1/2 lb off this wk but think I've finally got my head round this woe and portion sizes so I'll be sticking around.

congratulations keepon and a big thank you to BIWI for doing her best to keep us on the straight and narrow.

sybilfaulty · 18/03/2014 18:53

Just popping on to congratulate the mother to be. Lovely news. Well done.

MrsHerculePoirot · 18/03/2014 19:27

keepon massive congratulations - I am nearing the end and it is tough being pregnant with the carbs. Early on I had good intentions, but introduced some carbs to keep out of ketosis, for me as soon as I start eating carbs I can't then stop thinking about them, craving them and eating them. Most of my good intentions went out of the window tbh until nearly the end and the novelty is well and truly wearing off. By not eating carbs in the evening I am able to better manage my indigestion which is a plus point.

At my good times I had a poached egg or boiled egg on a piece of granary toast with butter for breakfast. Salad as usual for lunch, then meat and veg for dinner. Snacks I had an apple, or a few rice cakes, or nuts mostly.

Suzymoo9 · 18/03/2014 20:29

I've been feeling so ill these past few days and all my food tastes bitter, even the chicken cooked in butter & garlic didn't taste nice. Today I finally broke and had some non-bootcampy things (don't want to tempt anyone) - I think I needed salt. Am burnt out from work and did I see someone mentioned chocolate for sore throats? oh dear...
Still tomorrow is another day and I will start againl
Love the colour of those cushions byt the way.

Piscivorus · 18/03/2014 22:42

keepon Congratulations! Lovely news

trashy Cushions look ace. When are we all coming round? Grin
I too have a lot to lose and it has taken me the entire bootcamp to get back to where I was before Xmas but onwards and downwards. By this time next year we might be sylphs!

Must try that flaxseed pizza. Where was the recipe?

trashcanjunkie · 18/03/2014 23:08

Congratulations keepon that's really lovely news. Grin I would add porridge/brown rice and vitamins, plus fruits and legumes - still eating clean without descending into ct. Oh and the odd kfc/greggs when demanded....

Heir I'm the same as you, I love a good interview sanctioned chance to brag/show off Confused whooshy you're gonna have to just channel us when your in there! You will be excellent, and they'll be lucky to have you!

Piscy I think a low carb slumber party could be arranged! I certainly have the beds now!!

Not got any energy today, but have got some weird lurgy growing in my snout. Been to docs twice now - went again today and they took swabs and looked at my throat. The doctor rang me later and wants me to go back in and have another examination with a second opinion Hmm as she didn't think my throat looked normal and it had bugged her when I left. My friend says I have been 'pale and wan' for a few weeks now, and I have had lead legs whilst out walking. Fuck this, I can't be arsed with any health probs right now! Boring Grin will do some proper posting tomorrow.

Love y'all massively - ooh I see you have an interview too littlemiss eek eek eeek!

Hello snowie [waves like a loon]

BIWI · 19/03/2014 06:25

Suzymoo - it's another of the contradictions if you're low carbing - you need to eat salt!
