Well, finally, we reach the finish line! One more week to shout your shit.

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

And the Weight Tracker

Hope the results are positive for you today - and that the rest of this week gives you time to drop another pound or two.

BIWI I like the spreadsheet because it shows you everybody in together, because it counts down instead of appearing to go up like the weight tracker graph, and for all the information attached to it.

Thumbwitch · 30/04/2014 15:32

Is the weight tracker going to go the "other way", diagrammatically? so the line goes down instead of up? I know this was discussed at some point but I don't know the outcome, I only know that, from an immediate visual point of view, a line going down is preferable to one going up.
If it's going down, then just the weight tracker seems fine to me. I do quite like the spreadsheet but can live without it.

Sayra - I've just read back about your tedious colleague and the badminton - he's not an IT bloke, is he? Years ago I used to play badminton with a group from work, at work, and there was an IT bloke who rather fancied himself as a good player. He also had poor social/integrative skills and always wore tennis whites to play, and refused to play with one of my friends because she wasn't maybe as good as some of the other players. He would also jump in front of his partners to take their shots, if he didn't think you were going to get it - in fact, he once hit me in the face with his racquet! That was the last straw for me. I then made sure that whenever I was his partner, we lost. Only by a small amount - I was very good at just missing shots, so it looked like it wasn't deliberate. He left not long afterwards. Grin

WhooshFuckerFairy · 30/04/2014 18:20

biwi - hearing you loud and clear about not mentioning the 'face down in shit Choccy '. !!
The spreadsheet tabs are good - I found them all very helpful to keep referring to - so it would be good not to lose this .

SayraT · 30/04/2014 18:29

I almost started replying on the wrong thread Grin Blush

BIWI I agree with what said about talking about cheating, I will try not to do it (cheat or talk about it!), also the thing I liked about the spreadsheet is the same as stunt and thumb about seeing everyone together. If the tracker can go down and have everyone on it (an option to have it private? or is that too hard?) it would be good.

No thumb colleague is some kind of environmental guy, everyone at badminton now knows what he said and everyone is shocked. I am quite glad that everyone doesn't think he is right Grin even though I knew he wasn't.

Yeah LMD I think that's exactly what kind of picture things we need, I think that would have helped me at the start. I really enjoy what I do, I can't imagine doing anything else. I am even quite looking forward to starting my writing up (money runs out in September so will be starting writing in June/July). I can't wait until I can get to the throwing clothes out stage, not quite there yet probably a couple of pairs of jeans that could go but thats it. Before BC a lot of my clothes were too tight Blush and are now just a little loose.

Today was ok though there were about a million press outside my office door so I could't go to the loo! Waiting on the Scottish news as my boss was on at lunchtime so wanting to see him.

Got a wee problem tomorrow so any suggestions welcome. I have friends over every week for dinner which I normally make (to ensure I can control the carbs), this week one of them offered to cook at my house and I felt I couldn't say no. So she is making pasta bolognese, normally I'd say "oh, I'm avoiding gluten" so not have pasta. Unfortunately another girl is coeliac so she is bringing GF pasta. Should I just try to eat a little pasta as possible?

monkeyfacegrace · 30/04/2014 19:31

I got told off Sad

Wink

But yes, agreed, we will be nothing but encouraging.

BIWI · 30/04/2014 19:42

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! You didn't get told off! That was my whole point!!!

Notsoskinnyminny · 30/04/2014 19:47

Just a quicky because I've only just got in from a governors' meeting and I've got a 60 page prospectus to correct because the new admin buggered it up and I'm on a course tomorrow so I'll have to drop it off for final proofreading on my way.

BIWI hear you loud and clear, I'l programme my fingers not to type gin, wine and carbytwat for at least 2 wks Grin. Will we still have access to the spreadsheet on old threads - like whoosh I liked the tabs at the bottom.

Sayra Wendell should now be renamed Billy (short for Billynomates). Re the lunch will she be serving salad as well or could you take one to have with the pasta and just eat the meaty bits and hide the pasta under a bit of lettuce?

Trashy show us ya arse and the trashpus, we've seen enough of your narks and sexy red stuff.

Shit I've just had a flick through and she's got different fonts, justified some bits and not others, I'll be here all night - WINE NEEDED NOW!!

Will have a nosy at the other thread tomorrow.

Pleaseandthankyou · 30/04/2014 20:04

BIWI I prefer the spreadsheet. I am trying to maintain and hopefully lose a bit more. As my weight doesn't go down much I really like to see other peoples losses. It shows how successful some people can be. On the subject of cheating, I am sitting in front of an extra large packet of malteasers. I tried one and couldn't believe how sweet it was. It was horrible.

SayraT · 30/04/2014 21:54

notso hope you're not up too late.

Yeah I could get salad (we are at my house, she is cooking) so then eat loads of salad, all the bolognese and be too full for pasta Grin I think I'll try that.

Please I wish I though maltesers were horrible!!

thenightsky · 30/04/2014 22:43

I love the spreadsheet, mainly because of the tabs with all that lovely info.

StuntNun · 01/05/2014 06:53

A whoosh, a whoosh, an actual whoosh! After STS since the end of the last Bootcamp I saw a 2 lb loss on the scales this morning!

monkeyfacegrace · 01/05/2014 14:27

Mmmmm chicken, guacamole, salsa, cheese, salad at Chimichanga. Lushious :-)

Week 10 - Low Carb Bootcamp - the last week!
StuntNun · 01/05/2014 16:35

Have ruined whoosh by making and eating chocolate brownies Blush

Notsoskinnyminny · 01/05/2014 18:03

Thanks Sayra it took me til 10 to sort it out, I was that demented DH brought me Wine, ran into work to print it off only to find the Deputy had also made other changes Angry. When I got back from my course the dozy bint asked if I'd aligned all the bullet points, aligned them - she'd used a different one every bloody time, she got the look I give DCs.

2nd rant - what is it with Lidl - the nearest one is miles away and the shelves are always barren. I take DD back to uni and spot one so stock up on yoghurt and other LC bits but couldn't find the elusive orgasmic duck. I was tempted to buy kangaroo steaks but can't bring myself to eat Skippy Grin. Got lost on the way to a meeting yesterday must invest in a satnav instead of bags and shoes and pulled in at one to ask for directions and there was one round the corner from today's venue - they're like blummin buses Smile

Monkey your meal looks delish. I'm going to rustle up a CCC - crabby's cauli cheese because its freezing, I'm tired but have to take DD to the station she came home for an interview and need some lowcarby comfort food - I sound like the class swot!!

trashcanjunkie · 01/05/2014 18:20

Here is my arse - I tried but couldn't avoid getting my extra long arse crack in shot Grin

I have not done my selfie yet, and I want opinions on whether I should do them on the new bootcamp thread? I don't want to make anyone feel wierd.... I will still take them, but need opinions on whether to share them. I am absolutely unoffendable so feel free to state your case for/against.

BIWI I am all about the weight tracker, but also the stats - i can't tell you how good the boost is to be 'loser of the week' [shame emoticon]

I will never speak of any cheating on the new thread, as there will be none!

I am so bloody excited to go again - even though I'm still strict as fuck!

Week 10 - Low Carb Bootcamp - the last week!
Notsoskinnyminny · 01/05/2014 18:52

Bloody 'ell its huge not your crack it must've hurt but looks great, wish I was brave enough. I did psyche myself up for a tramp stamp when I got divorced but I've got keloid scarring on one side and exposed nerves on my lower spine and the tattooist put me off after I'd terrified him when he touched the sensitive bit I forget about it until its touched. I'd have probably ended up like a spirograph pattern when the bit you put a pen in comes off the cogs of the big circle thing if he'd done it Grin

Why don't you post a selfie here this weekend and see how the new thread goes before making your mind up - we don't want it to look like we've got a little quiche but I need/demand puppy porn and want to see Whooshy's when she gets hers.

EvaTheOptimist · 01/05/2014 19:46

LittleMiss and Monkey your meals look delicious. Wonderful presentation skills LittleMiss!!

Sayra the appeal is still going on, and I've been going there continuing to skive work it will finish tomorrow. We won't find out the result for roughly a month, I think. I've been cross-examined, and today I asked my own questions of an expert witness from the developer. So its all been a big education. I have no sense of whether we will prevail. It will be really disappointing if we lose. Unfortunately the developer's barrister is very good, and the council who are "fighting" the case have been rubbish and let the side down in a number of issues.

Amazing octopus Trash you crazy woman. Wonderful piece of art.

Stunt great news about your whoosh (now perhaps not so whooshy - but safest not to weigh for a few days I think) were you just getting the brownies in before bootcamp starts?! Hides from the BIWI stick but are we allowed to let out all our talk about cheating here as long as we stop it on 5th May!?

Actually I do really get what you said about posting about cheating and I think you were most graceful in your wise request/instruction.

Trash I think you should take your selfie photos because one day all strung together they are going to make an astonishing sequence. Whether you post them or not, I think it depends on whether it is helpful to YOU. Does posting them make you take the pictures?

For an actual report on food... today has been about Eggs. (I feel like Mr Strong. "and for breakfast he had eggs. Followed by... eggs....")

B - scrambled eggs and mushrooms
L - (from the canteen at the appeal) - salad with a boiled egg and mayonnaise
D - spinach and feta bake which has guess what as a key ingredient?

...Eggs

monkeyfacegrace · 01/05/2014 19:53

It was all going so well! Then I fell face first into two, yes two whole huge cadbury easter eggs. And now I feel sick, heavy, and vile.

Ah well. I weighed in this morning at 143lb, so still a huge 32lb loss since Jan 1st. So Im doing ok, yes? clutches at straws

I only need to lose 13lb more. And its taking aaaaggggeeeesssss.

WhooshFuckerFairy · 01/05/2014 20:26

Here we go notsoThis is a pic of my pup's Dad for now.
Where to start ?
trash that's amazing - it's fab , it looks like a lot of pain but I am a wuss love the arse crack though [grin ] and yes yes yes post the selfies . You are the inspiration if what can be achieved as you actually don't cheat !
I can tell I am 'back on it' as I am doing the power washer wees today
eva - good luck with developers , sounds like they have got some tough opposition
monkey 32lb is mega - you can come back from a measly couple of eggs.

Feels like this is the bad girls thread and the new BC thread is virginal and clean Grin

Week 10 - Low Carb Bootcamp - the last week!
WhooshFuckerFairy · 01/05/2014 20:28

And eva totally with you on Mr Strong - by coincidence DD3 insists we read that most nights !

EvaTheOptimist · 01/05/2014 20:47

I'm with your DD3 Whoosh... Mr Strong is kind of my ideal man!

Monkey 32lb in 4 months is ASTONISHING.

SayraT · 02/05/2014 07:55

Wow trash that wasn't what I was expecting, its amazing. You drew it?! Very talented...go on show us the others Grin

I don't mind if selfies are posted, I am continuing to take mine but not ready to post them yet. I wonder if on the new thread you could post your pre-BC (or start of) and then your latest one so that the newbies can see what a difference LCing makes? From the new thread it seems a lot were lurking anyway so they probably seen what shit we post Smile

Eva I sometimes end up having an eggy day, the other day I had a fishy day, smoked mackerel for breakfast, tuna for lunch and salmon for dinner! I didn't even notice until dinner.

It sounds like you've had loads to do with your appeal, thing you probably would never have done if you weren't involved. I've got my fingers crossed for you.

Yes Monkey 32lbs is amazing! I am hoping that thats what I will have lost by the end of this BC. I've lost 20 (ish) so far.

Its TOTM for me now so got a sore stomach and feel bleugh...not wanting to kill anyone though so thats good Grin

I managed to avoid the carbs totally last night as a friend called just as dinner was being served then by the time I got to the pot the GF pasta was all yucky and slimy so I just had bolognese. I forgot that my parents are coming to visit this weekend, I would rather they didn't especially as its OH's weekend off (I only see him every 2nd weekend due to where we both work) but never mind. I've not seen dad since christmas so it will be nice....but do they really have to stay until Monday Grin

WhooshFuckerFairy · 02/05/2014 13:19

hang on - clearly I sped read with poor accuracy.... you drew it trashy ? genius work - mine would have looked like something from the octonauts ( cbeebies animation!)

Well done sayra on sidestepping the pasta and I hope your weekend ahead is bearable.

My DD3's 4th birthday today !!!! I can't believe I survived the toddler years so well - as am seriously 'old mother' this time around. ( DD1&2 17 and 15 !) . Its her party on Sunday ( Pirates...'ah me hearty') soooooo Must avoid 'Carbytwatwankerness' in all forms of Pirate Cupcakes :-). I am actually not fancying anything sweet after the mad Easter CHoc fest - its put me right off !

I will be opening the fizz tonight though - I was nearly toast at the delivery - post partum haemorrhage... virtually a gonner ( itu for a while). Sooo I like to celebrate that I am still alive and well Grin Grin

Have a great w/e all - are we all transferring over to other thread Monday ?

xx

Whoosh I thought the breed you were getting were redder, and imagined a red setter but with a lab's body, psychopup plays with a couple of those and they've got a lovely temperment. Happy birthday to little Whoosh, it must be lovely and hardwork having a little one again but sometimes I think it'd be nice to do it again and take the time to enjoy the early years til I look at my ex-BIL and think thank god we were too old.

Monkey 32lb is amazing, you've done so well

Eva you're my hero when it comes to fighting the planners/developers. A field's just been sold without planning permission but they'll probably refer to the 800 houses being built across the road and get permission Angry

Sayra you've done really well too. Enjoy your visitors, maybe I get off lightly with a 45 minute visit every couple of years Grin
