Well, finally, we reach the finish line! One more week to shout your shit.

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

And the Weight Tracker

Hope the results are positive for you today - and that the rest of this week gives you time to drop another pound or two.

Can I be the first to admit Im scared without bootcamp?

Scared Im going to lose a place to moan. I cant be this self centred in real life (if I want to keep friends anyway!)

Really struggling with my weight and depression. Gah.

BIWI · 17/03/2014 21:25

We will all be here, monkey! No-one is going anywhere. We'll hold your hand Smile

Piscivorus · 17/03/2014 21:26

We'll still be here and chatting monkey. It's just the one thread though, not a new one every week and you don't have to do the spreadsheet if you don't want to.

monkeyfacegrace · 17/03/2014 21:53

I dont do the spreadsheet anyway. My smartphone isnt 'smart' enough to cope with it Blush

You all seem so bloody good at this!

Ok. Ive had 2 good days, so thats a start. I still havent had any bread, rice, pasta or potatoes since December, so I think Im still winning.

Good luck to everybody else for this coming week Flowers

FelixFelix · 17/03/2014 22:55

So many great losses on this thread! Definitely keeping me motivated. Day 7 tomorrow and I've not missed bread etc. at all! I'm so surprised as I've usually caved by now. It's making me positive that I could keep this up for a while Smile

Made Spanish chicken from the recipe thread for tea. I was a bit dubious as I'm usually not keen on tomatoey sauces as I find them a bit bland, but it was delicious. Input everything in to MFP and 34 carbs for the whole day which I think is ok?

I have only managed 1245 cals for the day and about the same yesterday. How many should I be aiming for as I think that's quite low for this? I've not been hungry at all and just eating my three meals a day.

trashcanjunkie · 17/03/2014 23:39

Fuck me I'm absolutely bolloxed tonight. Have finished sewing the ginormous cushion covers and can't get the pissing things on by myself. Grr. I hate when I can't do things on my own. Had to ring dp and ask him to help tomorrow, which he will and very graciously cos he's a love and all that but bugger. I've got blisters on my knuckles and spaghetti arms now Grin

whooshy I see this as the start of a long and beautiful friendship, and so so glad we are continuing woeing and chatting after this week.

Trying hard not to feel despondent at my pissy little loss this week. I'm basically the same weight as when I started bc, which fucking sucks.

On the plus side - I'm no longer a sugar addict, my tummy/arse are in a better situation re bloating etc

I just want to be thinner/lighter by approx 5 stone Angry

StuntNun · 18/03/2014 06:56

If you have a lot to lose Felix then your calorie intake will be lower than you need because the body takes the rest from your fat stores. As you approach your maintenance weight you will get more of your energy from your food so your food intake will go up. That's why fat loss slows down as you near your ideal weight. This woe should reset your leptin (the hunger hormone) sensitivity so that you become more receptive to when you have had enough to eat so that's why you shouldn't need to count calories, just heed those hunger and full signals.

Pleaseandthankyou · 18/03/2014 07:44

Come on Trashy. You have been through a lot during the last few weeks. Most of us would have piled the pounds on. You will probably stay the same and then have another whoosh. Keep smiling

NeverEndingLaundry · 18/03/2014 08:22

Week 1 done and I've lost 4lbs. DH said my face was 'looking better' Hmm and Grin.

Finally getting my head around some horrid emotional family shit, coincidentally, so it's a lovely boost to think I could be slim again by this summer perhaps if I keep at it.

Has everyone heard the sat fat news today?

LittleMissDisorganized · 18/03/2014 08:22

Morning all,
It's just such a positive place I think Eva as trash has also said this morning.
trash you've done amazingly and if I had a wand, I'd also take off another 4 stone. Looks like we'll be here together for a while then! :)

I've got a busy sociable day today, have been solid in my food choices since Sat, would like a final lb or 2, whooshes should come after a stall, shouldn't they?
I'm aiming to keep to BClite at the very least with maybe a couple of planned meals off (events I already realise are coming) until we restart properly.
Have a good full enjoyable day!

SayraT · 18/03/2014 08:30

Morning Losers Grin

Ambassador STS is fine, ubercamp seems to have worked for others so maybe worth a try or just making sure you are not having occasional carbs and thinking they don't matter. Not saying you are just I know that I've done that sometimes.

Chocolate always helps sore throats seri. Well done on your 11 lbs and I agree, these threads are what has helped keep me on track too.

Durham love it!

Congratulations on the losses Gatorade, DENMAN and Kylie, if you enjoyed your fish and chips then that's all that matters Grin

Twit I think we all wish we could do something to help you, especially since you are doing everything right. Though 2 lbs is 2 lbs and that is better than putting it on. If you are enjoying this WOE then stick at it, this is the least depriving "diet" I've ever done.

Please yes I do see a difference, my jeans kept falling down at work yesterday, my skirt almost came off at belly dancing and I can see a difference in the photos my OH took. I've got him to take pictures every month or so, wish I had taken them right at the start instead of after my initial 8 lbs loss. I'd recommend photos to others, when I measure I don't seem to be able to measure the same place each time Grin but photos I can see.

Monkey don't worry, plenty of us will still be around chatting, I need this thread too, so I'll be on the continuing thread and you can moan there.

Trash can't wait to see the cushions Grin and try not to worry about your little loss, as please said, you've had a hell of a time recently and coped so well. I have about 5 stone to lose too, lets do it together Smile

Just realised that I am late for work!! So very quickly....

Got friends over tonight for some pole practice, I out my pole up in the living room at the weekend and haven't stopped swinging on it since. I am so stiff!

B: Coffee with cream
L: Sausages, broccoli and spinach
D: No idea but one friend is coeliac so I can do LC and pretend I am doing GF instead

See you all later Grin

FelixFelix · 18/03/2014 08:42

Thank you stunt, that makes sense Smile

RatherBeOnThePiste · 18/03/2014 08:52

Two more pounds off my lardy arse. Huzzah!

:)

Thumbwitch · 18/03/2014 09:26

My cunning plan worked! I was indeed lighter this morning, and it made a 3lb loss since last week. Just finished period as well, so that probably helped. :)

Been good so far today - but it's the evening, so who knows what may yet happen...

FelixFelix · 18/03/2014 09:37

Do any if you lot shop at Aldi? I've been ordering from Ocado since dd arrived as it's easier but going to go back to Aldi this week too see if I can save some money. Is there anything particularly good and LC friendly that I should look out for? Already got that flax seed stuff on my list.

ElmaFudd · 18/03/2014 09:42

Quick SMS to keep me on the straight and narrow. Thanks all for the tips, support and insights over the last week.

Good news is that I was able to record a 2lb loss - albeit that followed a week of carb creep so some of it was bound to be H2O. Still, it's enough to keep me on the straight and narrow this week.

Even better news: I got on the treadmill for the first time in 10 weeks yesterday and managed to run (jog) 5K in 40 minutes. I was amazed - had only expected to manage 1K. It felt like I was tapping into a steady and endless supply of energy - only reason I stopped was that I didn't want to go over 40 mins so sprinted the last few minutes and wore myself out. This was a very different running experience to pre-LC and I was happily surprised.

Still had the wine and chocolate on the weekend but smaller quantities and I was much more watchful over portion size and carb creep for the rest of the week. Will try the same this week and hopefully get a bit of a loss.

Good luck all.

Seri77 · 18/03/2014 10:16

Elma I'm sure I've read that once you're fat burning your endurance improves, eg you don't hit the wall etc as you have a steady supply of energy from your fat stores. Think it was in Volek & Phinney. There's quite a lot about training low carb in paleo forums.

Sayra throat still appalling. Sadly I don't like fruit or herbal tea. I'm eating as low carb as possible to mitigate the frequent milk & occ choc. Yesterday I had poached salmon with butter & cream and salad for breakfast and lunch then pork, shallot & leek stew with buttered cabbage for dinner.

monkeyfacegrace · 18/03/2014 10:33

IM DOWN, IM DOWN, IM DOWN TO 152LB!

Lowest weight since 2010 Grin

Sorry, as you were.

SayraT · 18/03/2014 10:45

Woohoo! Well done monkey

fukkigucci · 18/03/2014 12:04

i did really well for the first half of bootcamp, but not too well on the second half. I've restarted today, and i'm going to be really careful about not cheating.
When this bootcamp finishes will another one be starting?

Congratulations to everyone who has been posting excellent losses!

trashcanjunkie · 18/03/2014 12:38

Thanks guys. Obviously you're right. And it was a flipping gain this week, albeit small.

The cushions are badly fitted but will suffice Grin
