Well, finally, we reach the finish line! One more week to shout your shit.

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

And the Weight Tracker

Hope the results are positive for you today - and that the rest of this week gives you time to drop another pound or two.

Whoosh forgot to say I'll sign up for the other thread. Maybe BIWI wants us to chat here so we don't corrupt the newbies Grin

And my colleague always gets a lovely pressy off DH on her children's birthdays because she had complications each time and he says he's lucky to have any of them.

BIWI · 02/05/2014 17:26

Yes - no corruption on my new thread! Grin

Ah Whoosh I've come over all emotional at the thought of you nearly being a gonner at your DD3's birth. All praise to marvellous medical professionals and miracles that you are still here, hooray!

Notso 800 houses, it so changes your existing community - wow. Its a quiet desecration of communities going on up and down the country. I think the scenes at this appeal this week must be being played out identically everywhere. We now have to wait 4-6 weeks for the decision so I will let you know Notso!

(We got one piece of good news though - the Inspector decided that one of the conditions was that 20 metres of BOTH of the access roads would have to be built before any development work could start. Normally this condition is only ONE of the access roads. There are some complicated and unresolved ownership issues around one of the access points so this is a real frustration to the developer. Won't stop it but will be a big pain for them.)

I am feeling REALLY REALLY tired tonight!

BUT I have bravely stayed away from the chocolate!! (just to have some relevance to the thread)

Oh and in shock news... I'm not signing up for bootcamp. I've felt a little emotional about that too. But its a good reason: I'm not signing up for bootcamp because I don't need to lose any weight. Wow just typing that is amazing. I've had "lose weight" as my new years resolution every year of my life since being a teenager. No more, thanks to bootcamp!

BUT never fear you don't get rid of me that easily. I can't believe I won't still need my moral support boost of reading these threads (because I am working hard at Maintaining) so I will be lurking and no doubt posting. BIWI I promise faithfully to not mention anything off-piste.

BIWI · 02/05/2014 19:41

Wow! That's brilliant Eva! Flowers

I think you should start a thread for maintainers. That would not only be a good place for you to chat, (and we'll come and join you!) but also proof to others that low carbing really works.

eva ... Now I am emotional at you making that statement ' I don't need to lose any weight ' . Completely and utterly inspiring Thanks . Don't go away though - we need your wise words and I particularly gain strength from your sense of calm opposite to me .

Eva that's fabulous, do stay around and keep us up to date on housing development and to keep us on the straight and narrow. You can be our inspiration Smile

Parents driving me insane already, they made carbs for dinner so I had to eat it Sad luckily sitting quietly watching a film now.

Whoosh and BIWI Thanks

not sure I am bold enough to start a thread!! I'll think about it.

Lets face it I'm not going anywhere! What do you mean there are other topics on MN?

Sayra you dodged yesterday's bolognaise carbs just to get caught out by parent carbs tonight! Never mind, tomorrow is a new opportunity for a low-carb breakfast.

Trying to use up nuts & chocolate before Monday, I have made chocolate mascarpone cheesecake. I added a smidge of maple syrup to the base but otherwise bootcamp light ingredients.

But I have four ramekins worth to eat now.

I'll be brave Grin.

Eva - that's completely brilliant! You should be so proud of yourself.

I was going to suggest that maybe we should have a quiet thread for those of us who do cheat a little, so we can keep our cheating ways off BIWI's pristine thread - some people find it disheartening that others can cheat and still lose, but I find it encouraging that other people can do that, although I know that's not really the point. It's probably a bad idea. I'll shut up now.

Trashy - another one in awe of your occy! Good work. :)

Notsoskinny - skippy is great! Very healthy meat, like a slightly more peppery version of beef. We have skippy mince quite regularly - we make "swagman's pie" with it Grin. Think of it like venison (unless you have troubles eating Bambi as well? In which case, don't).

Whoosh - congratulations on making it through your DD's birth, that sounds pretty horrendous. Well deserved fizz for you! I like the sound of the pirate party...

Hmm Thumb maybe we could start a Low-Carb Maintainers or Cheaters thread together?

Hope its good to be back in Oz.

Good idea, Eva.
Getting there - the jetlag has been horrific this time around, mostly thanks to DS2, and I've been more homesick for the UK than usual. But slowly slowly I'm coming out of the fug. No more celeriac for me now though, unless I visit the Big Smoke and check out their greengrocers!

Eva That is fantastic. I'm fairly happy at the weight I am at but if I am being honest I probably should lose a bit more. I am in the top of the healthy BMI range. I am worried about putting some back on though.

Eva well done on reaching your target but make sure you stick around on the naughty girls thread.

Parsnip definitely a whoosh - well done!

Seri please post your cheesecake recipe

Thanks for the skippy recommendation thumb I'll get DD to pick some up when she comes home later this week - she got the job and has to go to a training session but now she doesn't know what to do as she's been nominated for a scholarship to study in Japan for a month . We were going this summer but changed our plans when she decided she'd be better saving up for her year abroad. Typically the lecturer who nominated her isn't answering her emails so we don't know if the scholarship includes flights etc, if it does she's going Grin

Oh bollocks, I wanted to do a super post but am at dps on the iPad and it's wiping my words each time I skip between tabs! Bastard! I have so much to say!

Thank you everybody for the lovely compliments on my bum art. It is nice to show it off, as I won't in real life, for obvious reasons. Even though I am constantly whipping my kit off on here, in the actual world, I am certainly not one of those people who gets their bits out to show in public. Only my very close buddies even know about the octopus!

whooshy congratulations on living! I am so glad you pulled through, how very scary for you and your nearest and dearest. I think a glass of champers is mandatory. Yes I drew my tat, but that means I see all the tiny imperfections Grin The daddy doggy is bloody marvellous! But...... Think of the size of the shit!!!!!!

sayra I will keep taking my selfies, and will definitely post them on the thread, when there is a bit more of an obvious difference - maybe at the end, I could do a before and after?

eva I am in awe an very ecstatic for you with your non signing up due to maintenance! I am coming! will hopefully catch you up in approx eight months!

Hey.... Here's a nutty suggestion.... I always fantasise about taking a holiday when I'm at the weight I want to be. In my whole life I have only managed to go abroad to a hot country three times. Once with three kids by myself (fat) once on a bizarre rescue mission (also fat) and last time at twenty stone (really rather fat) when I was recovering from cancer surgery - and I went alone Sad

Would anybody fancy, in approx eight months.... Or when some of us on the longer journey had made it to Eva's position, fancy hiring a villa somewhere not too far away, but hot and having a bootcamp meet up? We could do a long weekend? I could parade about the poolside in varying bikinis or flap my tits about the place whilst eating olives and sunning my parts.... Thoughts?

serri Grin

notso that's fabulous news for dd! I am definitely going to get to Japan in my life at some point. We'll done her, and of course you for all the good mummying.....

Right, I'm gonna nip to the other thread and begging ingratiating myself across there...... Confused

Cheesecake recipe as requested: it's very rich so use small ramekins. Mine are old Gu ones. Sorry no actual measurements.

Base: ground almonds, chopped up pecans, melted butter, maple syrup to taste. Melt butter, mix everything, squash into ramekins. Put in fridge.

Top: Empty tub of mascarpone into bowl. Loosen by mixing in some double cream. Add melted 85% chocolate and some vanilla essence. Plonk on ramekins. Put in fridge.

Eat once chilled, if you've got room after eating the scrapings.

I made mine too rich, it would have been better with less chocolate I think, so proceed with caution. You can always add more if it's not strong enough.

Only a quick pop in parents still here, not too bad (carb wise, very bad but otherwise good) been cycling lots. Numb bum!
