Happy birthday kdk - that dress looks A-MAYZ-ING. I want one!

Also like the KM dress you posted lou, gorgeous colour, but my boobs are far too big for that.

Janos · 07/07/2010 20:32

Eve - no you are not being mean re: photos, I've done that (still do) and yes lots of munters on there. Can be a bit dispiriting.

Have you tried okcupid? I've had some moderate success on there.

Remotew · 07/07/2010 20:37

Is OK cupid free?

Janos · 07/07/2010 20:43

Yep no charge, like POF.

Monty100 · 07/07/2010 20:48

Smooch is free. It has it's fair share of munters nutters, mind.

Don't they all Monty!

Can I be a bit selfish and ask if any of you style queens can help me find a nice dress to suit.

I'm 5ft 1 and hourglassy with wee little waist, big hips and boobs so trying to find stuff that looks good is veh difficult.

Remotew · 07/07/2010 20:57

I checked out OK cupid, not many in my area so probably won't sign up.

Should die down with POF as I'm new so will stay on and just delete unread most of the messages. I'm not going to bother with it much.

Monty100 · 07/07/2010 21:21

Janos - Stop boasting the shops are all about dresses at the minute (or is it just me lol). What sort of thing do you like? New Look has loads of bargains atm, Monsoon Sale starts on 13th I think and Next has got to be any day now too, Coast have bargains too. (Spot the bargain hunter). Prommie type dresses would probably be flattering for your figure.

kdk · 07/07/2010 21:28

Great minds think alike Monty - was going to suggest prom-style or what about a Mad Men style fitted dress - will have a gander and see if I can find something - can you get away without a bra or do strapless? Price range? Colour? Whoops, back on style again - anything to avoid looking for a man!

kdk · 07/07/2010 21:32

What about this? Warm? Cold? Out of the ballpark completely?

kdk · 07/07/2010 21:39

Or this? I so love that one but would be dreadful on me sadly.

Remotew · 07/07/2010 21:50

You sound similar to me except I'm an inch taller, Janos, (boast). lol. I cannot get away with prom style as I'm far too old.

Just a note to all us wimps that are afraid to cook for a nm. DD has just put a lasagne in the oven, OK I rescued the bechemel as her nb is coming for tea tomorrow.

Monty100 · 07/07/2010 21:51

Kdk - they're both lovely.

Come on Janos, what's your thang?

OP posts:
Monty100 · 07/07/2010 21:56

Janos - your dd is really growing up fast atm! As an aside, what would you do if dd asked if bf could sleep over?

DD is 'hanging out' with an adonis a fella but she says they are just friends . He has stayed here twice and she at his a couple of times.

Monty100 · 07/07/2010 21:57

Monty100 · 07/07/2010 21:59

Meant to add, (gosh 4th post in a row)

They were in the garden on Saturday sunbathing and they seem a lot more than 'friends' to me.

Monty100 · 07/07/2010 22:01

Monty100 · 07/07/2010 22:17

Ninah -

DS used to say he wanted to marry dd. Aww. They'd knock each other's heads off in a jiff these days.

OP posts:
ninah · 07/07/2010 22:22

Yes they say that too, they are going to live on a farm
don't think they'd be the only ones round here either lol
