mrsmharket · 02/06/2010 14:13

well it's half term here so have dd with me, feckless feckwit can afford to book holiday for him to go 'surfing' but not to take dd anywhere in the hols

part 22 already - i have such a lot to catch up on lol could someone, pretty, very pretty please, help me catch up br posting a summary please?

lou33 · 02/06/2010 14:28

mrsmorgan, i meant maybe you felt down about yourself so were projecting how he must see you onto him

however, having now read he has a 1000 friends of the mainly female and blonde variety on his fb , i would say he was a bit of a rogue, so to either not go there or just use him as a fling

the pie was delicious

tonight will be chicken stuffed with brie and wrapped in parma ham

i have been for an OT appointment with ds2, then food shopping, and am surfing hte net dirt cheap holidays that are wheelchair accessible for ds2

i may end up having to apply to the family fund for a grant to take us away, we havent been anywhere for so long, and finding a place that he can get in and out of easily in his wheelchair is a bit harder as well, let alone finding one he can scoot about inside the house

Remotew · 02/06/2010 14:39

Good luck with finding a holiday Lou.

We have had a dark day in our county. On DD's 16th as well. Will cheer up with a few glasses of wine tonight.

lou33 · 02/06/2010 14:40

i've given up, the prices are too depressing

its a lovely sunny day here

how are the birthday plans going?

DONTtouchMUMSspecialJUICE · 02/06/2010 14:43

mrsm - there was a round-up near the end of the last thread where everyone was summarised recently. think it was on one of the last few pages.

eve - it was formal. friends round for dinner in a couply scenario. rochester cooking while i got thrown in among the lions to be grilled play host

was alright actually. but... i think you and me probably have similar nights out.. and it's a good thing i get so plastered i cant remember alcohol affects memory.

lou - i can imagine holidaying must be a tricky issue for you to work out logistically.

clara - thats a nice thing to organise with the half-siblings. i wish my dc half -siblings make more of effort because they are grown ups so really the onus is on them.. sadly... they are to selfish busy to find the time for them.

Remotew · 02/06/2010 15:23

My DD is the eldest with 3 half siblings and she makes an effort with them even though her dad doesn't with her but family is important to her.

I'm at work today, cinema and meal tonight. Dreaded teen party tomorrow night, least I'm off work for 4 days in about an hour. Need to shake of this sad feeling, some horrible incidents near us recently.

Juice I'm sure you charmed them all.

thesouthsbelle · 02/06/2010 17:21

marking place till later. have strimmered my ankle - youch!!!! damn soldier for not doing it!! lol. did drive 60 miles round trip today thou just to have a half hour lunch with me today.

MrsMorgan · 02/06/2010 17:38

Thank's all, you pretty much said what I thought about fb guy.

Have been txting him today and it is boring already tbh. All he ever mentions is going out and getting drunk.
Not sure about using him as an ego boost tbh. I did that with the other bloke and yeh it did boost my ego but then I was left feeling paranoid.

Going out for my birthday on 11th so maybe I will meet someone nice then, although that never happens when I am out tbh.

Going to go read about everyone now lol.

lou33 · 02/06/2010 17:40

blimey the least he could have done was trim your bush

i just forked out 42 quid at the vet, bloody 85% of that on one of dd2's bloody hamsters

the puppy has gained another 2kg in a month and was generally fussed over and behaved impeccably, her check was free and i only had to pay for the worming tablets

hamster though, well, 25 quid to see the vet without any meds she was given ffs (she is almost bald, dd thought she was dying but it is only mites, which apparently is a baffling but common thing hamsters get, making their fur fall out)

is it mean to say i cant wait til the hamsters are no more and we just have the cat and the puppy( unless i am co-erced into another puppy)?

lou33 · 02/06/2010 17:42

actually i lie

when i say i forked out £42, i mean i handed it over, but dp gave me the money as i am skint

bless him, it isnt like the hamster is his, he just didnt want dd2 getting more upset about her

Monty100 · 02/06/2010 20:49

Hi everybody

Juice - cheers for the beers!

Eve - good luck for dd's birthday. Happy birthday to her. Hope you have a nice evening.

Lol at strimming bush.

Belle - that sounds painful.

I'm covered in cuts and splinters and I ache, I gardened most of the day, not as much as I would have liked as dn came over with the baby. Awwwww! He's gorgeous, I could eat him lol. The weather has been beautiful. A not bubbly bath is in order very soon.

DS has been 'working' with exh and now they've fallen out, so break away is not looking like such a break away. Grrrr.

Hi to everyone. .

Hey everyone. Hope you're enjoying the fab weather

Computer died and just got a replacement hence why I haven't been round much or on FB.

Anyway too tired to say much atm so just saying hello for now and will catch up later.

lou33 · 03/06/2010 21:42

ooh hi, i wondered where you had gone, was gonna text you tomorrow!

Monty100 · 03/06/2010 22:50

Hello Janos, good to see you.

My few days away doesn't look like it's happening as exh won't have ds . On the upside, dp has done stuff that I so wanted doing (in the mucho domestico vein that is) before you all start getting down and dirty .

Pirate - how is dd??

Eve - hope dd's birthday party goes well.

Lou - how's your tan?

I had to wade through fb to see who changed their status and found YOU out, mentioning no names lol. But I was rather surprised that one person who is clearly on the sofa has not changed her status yet Betty.

How's everyone?? Very quiet on here.

Jeez overuse of emoticons. Looks like the father, the son and the freaking holy ghost on my post. (Jeeeeezus I'm rhyming now).

Think I'll got for a hot bubbly bath again.

(note absence of emoticons)

Aw, now I really wanna know who FB changed!

I changed my phone number tonight, ex rang again today, and decided I don't need it.

Currently got the squaddie drunkenly calling me spouting shite...good job I'm awake or I wouldn't be a happy bunny!

Hope everyones Ok and enjoying the lovely weather

thesouthsbelle · 04/06/2010 08:13

yes yes ok I fess up it's me! the little ray of sunshine that is soldier has been promoted. he was going to meet my mob this w.e but apparently is having one of his 'i'm the only man who can fuck up your life, and control what you do' moments so is making it as hard as possible for me - all the while blaming the army - think he forgets that soldier knows the score, and infact is higher up than him so isn't stupid!(not that I am and believe a word he's saying) muppet - so my 'punishment' was to be hung up on last night, deleted form his facebook, and i'll be v v v surprised if DS hears from him until the end of July, fucking nob end! but as I say - least soldiers being fantastic about it.

and yes betty/juicy I notice neither of you have changed lol.

clara - next time he does it (and I love this new phrase lol) tell him to 'rev up and get back in his box' should stop him long enough to actually think about what he's saying lol.

monty - sorry you're not gonna be getting away.

is there something in the water atm making all ex's being twats? anyhow gotta run or late for work (again!) will catch up when I can there in meetings all AM that I can do without.

thesouthsbelle · 04/06/2010 08:15

(sorry apparently ex is having one of those moments, not soldier- he's fab! (gonna come over still tonight & tomorrow for a bbq - just pissed off we can't get out the house for a few hours as we do like our out n about couples time.)

clarabella23 · 04/06/2010 12:22

Rev up and get back in his box??thats a new one!soldier saying I guess?

thesouthsbelle · 04/06/2010 12:57

lol. no well - I say just rev up and do one (as in F off) or there's the door use it - depending on who it is, and solider says 'oi get back in ya box you'

(it's all with a huge grin thou and smiles so only messing about)

lou33 · 04/06/2010 13:24

afternoon all

my day hasnt been great so far, my hayfever is really bad despite using decongestant spray and pills, my eyes are all puffed up like i have been crying

then on the way back from town on a 60mph road, i was about 10 feet away from killing some stupid boy on his bicycle

i was doing about 50 at the time, then all of a sudden this kid started pootling across the road looking the other way

he didnt even glance in my direction to see if it was safe, just kept looking at traffic the other side, which was a safe distance away, and on top of that he SLOWED DOWN to a virtual stop as he got onto my side of the road and STILL didnt look

he finally turned my way when he heard how hard i was braking i think, i was so close i could see the look of shock on his face, and he then legged it !

i had ds2 with me as well

just as well i was well under the speed limit or else i really think i would have killed him, given the amount of time i had to react

am a bit shaken by it all tbh
