Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
kdk · 23/05/2010 14:18

Hi everybody

Am very at belle and betty - all I've had is a wink from this and the usual weirdo messages from two blokes one of whom wants a humble respectful woman - have to wonder if he read my profile - or can even read as while I may have the odd self-esteem issue, I do not do humble or respectful (or god-fearing for that matter)

lou33 · 23/05/2010 14:53

i cant see him kdk, it wants me to sign up

blimey its hot,my hayfever has left me feeling like shit and not enjoying the sun

dp is working, kids are hot and bothered and bored and i have 14 whole pounds in the bank until tuesday

sigh

poor but happy i guess, despite feeling rough as a badgers arse

kdk · 23/05/2010 15:31

don't worry lou - he was 66 and looked every last second of it!

kdk · 23/05/2010 15:33

suppose I'd better go and shave my pits if I'm going to wear a sleeveless number. Tbh, feeling too hot and bothered and wouldn't take much for me to take a raincheck but as am going with someone, will just have to get on with it!

Betty79 · 23/05/2010 16:55

kdk-Have fun speed dating! I enjoyed it when I went, but you really dont have much time to ask a lot of questions, you will be suprised how quickly the time goes! As for questions my fave was 'which one of the seven dwarfs are you most like?'

sponge-at your ex! I hope the police manage to talk some sense into him!

SingleMum01 · 23/05/2010 17:35

Evening everyone,

Belle and Betty -

kdk - have fun

hatesponge · 23/05/2010 17:45

glad to hear you all had good weekends - especially betty, belle and sm

police havent been round yet... however in the meantime i have changed the locks. Am feeling much happier & 'my home is my castle'-like now thats done!

thesouthsbelle · 23/05/2010 20:14

kdk - also standing by for a full report. questions - do you have a set number to ask then? Oh see the man as well - 66 hahaha he's a catch that chap with the silver hair. (hope speed dating is better thou)

hate - glad you're feeling safer in your own home.

lou - glad all is well with you.

betty - go you n boiler man - I would say you little stop out but well - least ya went home for a shower - I just stopped in a hotel!

... gonna catch up some more as the page has logged out so can't read it all back.

thesouthsbelle · 23/05/2010 20:30

pirate - glad DD is feeling better & also good luck with your date. it's deffo better to be honest about what you're looking for I think tbh.

sm - re mr blue - agree with lou, and for now roll with it (as it were! lol)

monty - turn away, I managed to find a jane norman shop in town y'day - it was brill, 2 new gypsy type tops n happy days. lol.

sponge - when did he bring ds2 back - and woohoo go DS1!! lol.

mrsm - ah get n do a bit of online flirting first to see how it's done, then it makes it a bit (little) easier in RL to do it.

ninah/betty/blondie/eve

well for the date - finally managed to get away about half 6 ish, got there for about 7.30, driving at 100mph or there abouts he'd booked tickets to see robin hood (bit arse about that as well - we didn't really want to leave but did film tbh isn't really worth watching - v v long winded and drawn out but deffo epic, didn't even see russell crow's ass - althou did manage to see his body. I think - was a quick shot lol) stopped the night with him fri walks on the beach sat plus the oceanarium as well which was fun - naturally then he had to be dragged off into town for my shopping fix - bless him, even carried all the bags, few drinks, dinner bit of crazy golf, another walk on the beach. (sandy freezing water mind lol) he shared info, I shared info, walked back got freshened up back out for tea, drinks, then back again. away this am. bout sums it up I think. few issues to sort out - first being an ahem, finishing nature we shall say, the second being something a bit more serious.

but mostly thou was a fab weekend in our own little bubble n we had a giggle. even thou I now have a rash from his stubble and v sun burnt arms. Came home to hear about marine on fri at the gym, and me being that I missed out - ah well, roll on tomorrow's fix. soldier's back again on friday, so he's coming to mine for food & stuff after the gym then, so gonna see what happens over the next week he's home and then again once he's back from the USA.

ninah · 23/05/2010 20:37

belle I'm intrigued
sounds like you had a good time, anyway
wonder how kdk's getting on?

lou33 · 24/05/2010 09:08

good morning everyone, it's another beautiful day

DONTtouchMUMSspecialJUICE · 24/05/2010 10:00

belle - sounds like you had a good wkd though.

finishing can always be over come

where's kdk with her speed dating report?

things are going well with rochester. although.. warning to all you ladies. i made a complete cock of things due to checking to see if he was online.

we had agreed to come off the sites. he couldn't access a pc till monday so he was going to remove his then. i went on to check if he had been on over wkd.. when i did a search on username without logging in it claimed he was "online now".. this resulted in me having a go at him... and telling him it was over as i wouldn't tolerate being deceived.

he wasn't best pleased as insisted he hadn't been online at all since we had first dates, and def not over the wkd as he had not managed to hook up internet in his new house yet. i then logged in and did search again... and guess what it now agreed he hadn't been online.

i had some apologising to do.

piratecat · 24/05/2010 10:38

wish me luck I am going on the date today, meeting at 1.

dd went to school so i am free!!!!

piratecat · 24/05/2010 10:40

oops juice. how come's it said different things then?

very confusing!

kdk · 24/05/2010 10:57

Hi all

just a quick report as have to get on with lesson planning. Sadly speed dating was a nightmare - never seen so many sad/desperate/weird men in such a short space of time! A lot of them hadn't even bothered to make any effort in what they were wearing eg were wearing shorts/t-shirts - wouldn't mind but none of them should be wearing shorts full stop let alone at something like a speed dating evening when you'd expect people to make an effort ...

was the usual thing when all the women seemed attractive, intelligent, normal - couldn't understand why they were single

and the guys - well, you could well understand why they were!

one in particular was really confrontational - asked why my marriage didn't last, why I didn't want more kids (implied I was selfish in that I would be depriving a future partner of his right to have children!)

but can safely tick speed dating off as something I will not be trying again.

lou33 · 24/05/2010 11:05

Oh no that sounds awful!

Monty100 · 24/05/2010 11:09

Hi everybody

Belle - sounds like you enjoyed yourself.

Juice - oh dear, he's nice too! You feisty lady.

Pirate - glad dd is recovering enough to be back at school, hope your date is successful. Who with??

Kdk - I have only one thing to say,

Where have all the fit, interesting and available men gone??

OP posts:
lou33 · 24/05/2010 11:33

good luck pirate

aseriouslyblondemoment · 24/05/2010 12:44

afternoon all!
best of luck pc you certainly have the weather for it..will you be able to resist a glass of vino or pimms tho lol
kdk pmsl but fair play to you for trying it..the thought of going gives me heebie jeebies tbh!have you had any more contact with your old flame?
betty
how's your nan doing?
belle i knew that your celibacy wouldn't last for long!!
sm01 imho i'd be wary..chatting with friends is for msn or fb not a dating site, altho you haven't agreed exclusivity he sounds as tho he's keeping his options well and truly open atm
eve long time no hear..hope alls good with you i guess that dd is stuck into her exams atm?
scl any more from school?
lou glad to hear all's peachy with you still tho i have to say that i would need to be stone cold sober to obliterate all the exs off this thread
mrs m how's tricks?
juice does this mean that forces is def out of the equation now?
ninah rofl at your speed dating q's
had drafted one to you but felt that it was terribly maudling so will endeavour to mail properly now my mind is clearer!
sponge here's to a whole new beginning for you!
{raises a mug of coffee!}
nothing new to report from me as i dont wish to bore you all with exh's fuckwittery but at least i'm celebrating 2 yrs of living without him in my house...yay!!

kdk · 24/05/2010 15:03

to add insult to injury - two of the munters from last night have ticked me as a date - not sure what I did to deserve that but am off to pay penance and beg for forgiveness. Mind you, if anyone in London fancies a singles comedy night I could be up for it on grounds that my love live is a comedy zone at the best of times!

aseriouslyblondemoment · 24/05/2010 16:37

hey up kdk grab yer coat you've pulled...

DONTtouchMUMSspecialJUICE · 24/05/2010 16:49

asbm - still speak to forces.will be breaking the news to him though i'm no longer available.

monty - yes.. he's more than nice.i'm being extra nice to make up for my behaviour

kdk -oh my.. speed dating sounded excruciating different

so... is pirate back yet?.. where is her date udate?

piratecat · 24/05/2010 17:21

hi, in a nutshell-no. it was ok, i didn't fancy him as much as i had hoped.
He seemed to sensitive, and that's saying something for me!!

too similar.

next.

aseriouslyblondemoment · 24/05/2010 17:40

ooh sounding a tad serious then juice
pc well nothing ventured...and at least it's a couple of hours out if nothing else!
anyone else on the horizon?

sincitylover · 24/05/2010 17:56

wow lot's of activity on this thread.

to belle, betty and juicy

kdk - sorry speed dating wasn't all that good
moving swiftly on

wonder how eve's weekend in london went

ASBM exh went to school today to discuss bed breaking incident. They accept it was accident but still expect us to pay

I went to see his tutor last week. On fri another teaching suggested he might have cheated in a test where he got high mark but he sat at front of class and says he didn't (I believe him) needless to say I might look round atsome alternative schools.

I have got something to wear for tomorrow's swanky dinner

www.clothingattesco.com/New-In-Womens/F+F-Drape-jersey-dress/invt/bd013404

in black with a jade green shrug and heeled strappy (thick strappy) sandals. Prob plenty of eye make up too for some reason. Dress quite plain but I like it.

LOL at Tescos couture - part of my journey south on sat was to look in dept stores for something
but found nohting of interest. This style, although a panic buy, seems to hold me in whilst showing some cleavage.

Trouble is I won't recognise the famous sporting stars in attendance (I only really know footballers and this is another sport)

Tee hee
