thesouthsbelle · 15/01/2010 16:31

lou33 · 15/01/2010 16:36

lou33 · 15/01/2010 16:37

oh and lol @ me being a guru, i dont know what i am doing, i am just good at blagging

Remotew · 15/01/2010 17:46

Oh I remember Zippi and her young man. Pleased it's still going strong. Is she living nearer him now?

Thank god it's weekend. I don't have any plans, no men on my horizon atm. Happy that way for now. Going out for tea with DD as she has just had her first real GCSE result and it was very good.

lou33 · 15/01/2010 18:09

yes she is closer to him now

aseriouslyblondemoment · 15/01/2010 18:22

hi eve!
that's fab news about dd
enjoy your proud mum ^moment
lou what ever do you mean?
you are a dating guru

kdk · 15/01/2010 18:38

I bow at Lou's dating guru feet - sort me out wise one, I beseech thee [wanders off, talking to trees]

DONTtouchMUMSfestiveJUICE · 15/01/2010 18:39

hellllo. i'm back.

well.. all seemed fine. we met, was completely my type. tall, well build dark and good looking..

went for lunch, then i really wanted to see sherlock holmes so ended up going to pics. crap for first date. but we'd spent 2 hrs talking beforehand and we did kinda talk thru film discussing film*(he'd already seen it.. i cant keep quiet)...

and... aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhh he did that thing where he flicked his neck to crack the bones... i almost bowked.. this is a pet hate of mine... i sat beside a guy at work in call centre used to do this... everytime i felt like slapping his shiney bald head for it... soon as pegleg did it... instant turn off. complete non-starter.

he text on way home asking for another date... no way hosey... said i wasn't ready for one so soon after my last

i like this race for first co-habiting.. can we take bets.

forthebest... i'm the baby of the thread at 26.. with 2 dc.

i had small hiccup in SOH anon group. sent irish a fwd joke text... went had couple of texts. mainly about sherlock holmes film. but i think it still counts as completely harmless.

how are the rest of SOH group doing? held off today?

lou33 · 15/01/2010 18:46

yes eve v well done to your dd

this is me and you asbm

aseriouslyblondemoment · 15/01/2010 19:10

rofl lou
juicy do you purposefully attract men with strange and annoying and sometimes gruesome habits
maybe you need to list them on your pof profile to weed out these odd feckers

lou33 · 15/01/2010 19:11

eww @ cracking bones, i dont like it either, the mechanic does that to his knuckles which makes me shudder, but the neck thing would make me feel ill i think

aseriouslyblondemoment · 15/01/2010 19:17

eww it's grim..and it's bad enough doing it on a 1st date but during a film you've been wanting to see..wtf?!

lou33 · 15/01/2010 19:23

it is grim, but i know a lot of people with manual jobs who do it , oddly

i always squeal in protest

first date neck cracking is a no no

thesouthsbelle · 15/01/2010 19:43

oh yes agree on the neck thing, sorry it was a non starter juicy, least you saw a film thou.

Lou - yes a guru. .

eve - ooh well done your DD.

glad zippi is doing well thou.

the SOH group - erm yeah I failed just saw him at the gym as well. althou was chatting to my rather hunky marine instructor.

do any of you do body combat?? release 42 is soooooooo hard!

DONTtouchMUMSfestiveJUICE · 15/01/2010 20:12

belle - used to do combat. iliked it. but need to renew memebership before can go back.

and as for weird habits.. some guy.. quite attactive.. send me an email from pof.. saying .. so.. are you brave kinda chick and can do poo in public loo?... or good morning routine.. thought it was odd. but replied for a laugh.. and do you know... his emails have been hilarious and really great convo... i was almost not going to reply... but this guy is seriously cracking me up with his outlook on life!!!

Monty100 · 15/01/2010 20:28

Evening ladies.

ASBM - what are you suggesting? The 'wooden' thing is lost on me, have no idea what you're on about lol.

Juice - shame about neck-creaker ewwwww. And you fell off the SOH wagon again lol.

Eve - congrats on dd's success, yes, do enjoy your proud mother moment. It's a good sign that is.

Belle - Hi there, am fine thanks. You seeing gb tomorrow?

Kdk - hi there.

Forthebest - I was in my late 30s when my marrige broke up and I bagged a fella, so it can be done.

Hi to anyone I missed.

My cold is a bit better, and I've just had two hours sleep so I'll be ing and lol-ling now til all hours. Just joking, I'll be nice and quiet.

Monty100 · 15/01/2010 20:30

Just read this back and I think I get the wooden thing now. Is it peg-leg?

Juice - he sounds hilarious, but totally bonkers. I quite like bonkers though lol.

thesouthsbelle · 15/01/2010 20:31

glad you're feeling better monty.

not sure on GB yet tbh will see how I feel in the am. he knows about the date with the sailor thou & is not happy, not happy at all - but well tough init, if he doesn't want to go official then why should I worry?!? says now he might well go out & start dating.

Monty100 · 15/01/2010 20:36

Belle - good for you! I'm really pleased you told gb abt the sailor. I'd rub it in like salt to a wound if I were you.

lou33 · 15/01/2010 20:44

he is acting like a petulant teenager by saying that ffs

aseriouslyblondemoment · 15/01/2010 21:04

evening monty
and you forgot to mention in your little intro there that you're the woman with the longest running relationship on this thread and that Al is fast getting his feet under the table @ monty towers
juicy are you going to meet up with this fella too?
i think you'll have to really if only to keep us lot amused

DONTtouchMUMSfestiveJUICE · 15/01/2010 21:05

monty - i never really fell off the wagon... just lost my grip on the steps to get up and my foot slipped. i'm back on again. one of these days i will manage to haul my asse up the steps and be completely on the damn wagon.

belle - agree he's acting spoilt. why dont you stick your turn out in return next time... ??

aseriouslyblondemoment · 15/01/2010 21:09
