DONTtouchMUMSfestiveJUICE · 14/01/2010 22:55

ah yes... it was hiding behind my halo...

aseriouslyblondemoment · 15/01/2010 09:43

rofl
are you excited/indifferent or just plain meh about your date tonight juice?

lou33 · 15/01/2010 10:06

yes i did but not on a dating site

sincitylover · 15/01/2010 10:14

on fb?

lou33 · 15/01/2010 10:17

similar, but more crap (aside from meeting him of course)

sincitylover · 15/01/2010 10:18

told the toyboy that I was in a difft place to last year (he asked me if I had moved on from him, was not looking for new fun IYKWIM and don't see how it could be anything else between him & I due to distance, age etc but that I always had a soft spot for him and think he's cute (is that a naff word?). Also think he is really looking to settle and have dcs which of course I am not.

We did seem to gel and had an intense virtual flirt over several months- were going to meet on a couple of occasions but it never happened. Never mind!

lou33 · 15/01/2010 10:19

mechanic just told me he is looking for a job closer to me, and in fact has been offered one this morning by a rival company

sincitylover · 15/01/2010 10:20

yes i am on something called uk messenger xcept I never look at it. The cheeky plumber ! put me on that - lives down your way belle I think.

sincitylover · 15/01/2010 10:20

brushes off hat!!!

lou33 · 15/01/2010 10:21

haha

aseriouslyblondemoment · 15/01/2010 10:35

lol @ scl
i'm loving the idea of a cheeky plumber, and you always need one for emergencies!

lou that's great news
think you might beat me to it on becoming the first co-habiting couple off this thread!!

sincitylover · 15/01/2010 11:21

unfortunately he met someone locally.

Seems to be some lovely men on the South Coast.

aseriouslyblondemoment · 15/01/2010 12:43

god damn it
tbh i originally thought that you'd have more choice being in london scl but from what you've told me i understand that's a bit of a myth now!
maybe consider moving up to edinburgh?
juicy seems to be getting all the action up there
and lou i'm assuming that's a BIG YES then!!

thesouthsbelle · 15/01/2010 12:44

is there sin - can you send some my way please all i'm finding is numpties.

all is OK here I think. (work wise).

XH is deffo down tonight so I can PARRRRRRTAY!!!! starting with the gym tonight at 6, and then we shall see what we'll see. have some running about to do tomorrow big style. still not sure on the Sailor thou.

Janos - get your sen on that date mrs!!!

Juicy - we are expecting a full report back after your date today.

Lou - mechanic is deffo keen i'd say. are you happy with him?

monty - how are you doing atm?

blondie how's you today?

are we missing any girls from this thread i'm sure my list of hello's gets smaller?

thesouthsbelle · 15/01/2010 12:45

oh yes our juicy has a lot more action.

honest there's no decent men left on the south coast!

aseriouslyblondemoment · 15/01/2010 12:50

iirc didn't you delete the sailor belle?!
still best to make the most of your child free time i'd say!
yeah all's good with me,my lot are with their dad too this weekend but will be spending it doing the usual drudgery and house blitzing, not seeing dp til they're back tho sadly

aseriouslyblondemoment · 15/01/2010 12:53

depends how far you're willing to travel tho doesn't it lol
we all perved looked at a few nice ones in bournemouth last year

lou33 · 15/01/2010 13:30

i am happy with him yes, very much so, not sure about the hats needing a dusting down just yet though

kdk · 15/01/2010 13:49

nothing to report down here sadly - and agree with real shortage of talent in London - think it's more that there are a few decent blokes but there are a HUGE amount of attractive, intelligent and eligible women so the guys are in a very good position - and I'm not bothered enough to accept/take seriously the also rans!

kdk · 15/01/2010 13:50

..... of course, alternatively, it could just be me!

Forthebest · 15/01/2010 14:14

Just being a bit nosy and curious...
This is addressed to all of you who have found new, fit and available new men. How old are you ?
At 35 I am about to be tumbled into singledom I think and although a new relationship is far from my mind I rather fear that it will never happen as I feel ( and look ! ) too damn old !!

Am I ????

thesouthsbelle · 15/01/2010 14:19

kdk - never settle!

blondie - I did yes but he got in touch again.

lou33 · 15/01/2010 14:35

i'm 43 and have 4 kids and have found someone (touches wood, and not in that way asbm )

aseriouslyblondemoment · 15/01/2010 14:55

kdk agree with not settling for sloppy 2nds but as juicy would say sometimes 'it's just nice to get out and meet even if it doesn't lead to anything long term'
she says!!
saying that i didn't half get bored of it all tbh
forthebest i'm 39 divorced with 3 kids and it has never been a prob for me, tho i've met my fair share of muppets, saying that meeting muppets also happens to childless women too!
like lou's bloke my dp wasn't at all phased by the dcs despite not being a dad himself and they all get on famously!
think alot of it boils down to emotional maturity tbh

aseriouslyblondemoment · 15/01/2010 14:56

lou!what do you take me for?!
tis too early for that..wait til later once monty joins in lol
