DONTtouchMUMSfestiveJUICE · 12/01/2010 10:04

dont think i'll be on any dates this week. hopefully manage to keep my friend from her crazy bloke if i spend my free time with her and distract her.

lou33 · 12/01/2010 10:07

makes a change doesnt it

sincitylover · 12/01/2010 11:02

sponge - I 'll take a look on smooch.

I will need your email though - if you are happy to put it on here then fine otherwise cat me.

Bucking the trend I don't mind short men 5'6' - 5'8 and actually don't like tall men (over 6' is a def no no for me).

ASBM will recall the date with the giant I had (about a year ago) - he was 6'4 and I literally trotted round behind him - 5 4 in heels.

Ex bf is very short indeed but we sort of fit well together IYKWIM

I am on the verge of involving work in Mr Yorke situation. Or at least letting them know - my boss and security manager. It's a bit embarassing though.

aseriouslyblondemoment · 12/01/2010 11:17

yes i spotted that thread juicy,he's hardly a catch is he?
scl i do remember him yes!!
he wasn't the one where you had the mr bean moment in your car was he?
or was that another man plonker?
the mr yorke situ isn't at all nice and iswym
about being a tad embarassing, but it's him with the problem not you and he should not be allowed to carry on harassing you and making you feel uncomfortable

kdk · 12/01/2010 11:18

Hi SCL - that sounds awful - have to say it's one reason I've always been careful about not getting involved with anyone I've had to work with. Nearly happened once but I backed off at the last minute and am really glad I did. The guy in question ended up with a woman from sales and their relationship and eventual messy break-up was the source of water-cooler gossip for months as well as being the cause of him being asked to leave the company.

Re height, it's not a deal-breaker but I do prefer a few inches difference at least - I'm 5' 5" so as long as they are at least 5' 7" I'm happy. I once went out with a guy who was 6' 6" and had a cricked neck for about two years - mind you I learned to walk bloody fast!

DONTtouchMUMSfestiveJUICE · 12/01/2010 11:28

6ft6

scl - wise to tell work. you shouldn't be embarassed. him that should be.

aseriouslyblondemoment · 12/01/2010 11:36

hey just think of the killer heels you could wear juice

sincitylover · 12/01/2010 11:51

yep just emailed my line managers and the security manager.

Let's see what they say.

kdk · 12/01/2010 11:53

sadly much as I love them, I can't do killer heels - I have no head for heights and just end up wobbling gracelessly before plunging to the floor - and that's before I've even had a drink! So if you know any short-arsed intelligent, vaguely-attractive men who can string a sentence together, don't use text speak, don't take part in re-enactments, wear rubber/dresses/dog collars or are seriously weird - let me know!

kdk · 12/01/2010 12:03

I mean are NOT seriously weird

lou33 · 12/01/2010 12:55

oh i dunno i like a little bit of weird

kdk · 12/01/2010 12:58

yep but there's weird and there's WEIRD - I'm talking about the please get off the internet you're frightening me sort of weird

lou33 · 12/01/2010 13:21

maybe your profile needs to be more specific about what you dont want?

DONTtouchMUMSfestiveJUICE · 12/01/2010 14:06

or maybe there's something in your profile appeals to the nutter

you dont have any weird outfits on haha... halloween costume thats a bit . lol.

mind you... i have some odd pics on my profile. never seems to attract any fetish nuts.

kdk · 12/01/2010 14:11

Be my guest and take a look - any constructive comments gratefully received www.okcupid.com/profile/mzdemeanour

DONTtouchMUMSfestiveJUICE · 12/01/2010 14:22

i'd take out the bit about not wanting a toyboys... yes it puts off 20 year olds.. but also anyone who's in 30's as technically they would be toyboy too.

and i'd change the word fierce in your title... its too... em.. fierce/scarey.

this tagline is the very first impression you get.

its gotta be attention grabbing in the right way.

friendly, flirtatious and fierce can be misinterpreted as

"will flirt outragiously with your mates then bite head of you when you complain you dont like it"

i prefer your line "considerate, confident and willing to try new adventures." (ok, i tweeked it a little)

and in the looking for section you have put that your looking for an activity partner... activity partner in dating sites translates to fuck buddy/weird hobby buddy. and short -term dating.. means fuck buddy again.

stick to just long-term and perhaps firends if you genuinely want a friend. but if you dont. then just lain old dating.

DONTtouchMUMSfestiveJUICE · 12/01/2010 14:23

i love the rest of your profile by the way. you seem original and like you would be really interesting to meet.

kdk · 12/01/2010 14:54

Oh thanks Juicy - that's the sweetest thing anyone has said to me for a while ... not about being scary obviously - tho I think I can sometimes be a bit spiky ...

What about the pictures - am I losing the plot there as well - mind you not much I can do about that, facelifts/professional photos being out of the question

DONTtouchMUMSfestiveJUICE · 12/01/2010 14:58

just realised there was more pics. i'd remove the one where you can see what looks like a bra. might juast be a top. but if i think your flashing your undies.. others will misjudge it too.

other than that you look lovely in the photo's. dont change them

kdk · 12/01/2010 15:15

Ta for the comments - funnily enough Lou liked the one in the white shirt - I just looked and realised you can see a bit of bra but does it look too much of a cleavage shot? Maybe I can crop it coz I like the pic - especially considering I've got no make up on.

DONTtouchMUMSfestiveJUICE · 12/01/2010 15:18

yeah. crop it in your photoshop. good idea

lou33 · 12/01/2010 16:21

didnt even notice a bra here, but tis better than having none underneath

kdk · 12/01/2010 16:42

I cannot do the no-bra thing unless I fancy playing keepie-up with my own bazoomas

lou33 · 12/01/2010 17:36

to some of us that is a far fetched desire we can only dream of
