oooh kdk i love airports... i'd have went on a date with a yank for couple of hrs in airport if it was nearby... bugger it..you would have got to learn about someone new for a couple of hrs and probably have enjoyed yourself as he's have some interesting stories... even just the accent would have entertained me.. you could just have asked him to say various things in his accent to amuse yourself if he was a rubbish conversationalist.

@ scl - this plonker happened to be off OKC - he seemed surprised that I didn't fancy dropping everything to traipse out in the freezing cold to hang out in what has got to be the most revolting airport in the world. Don't mind airports if I"m going somewhere but not for a liaison .... mind you, the champagne bar at St Pancras is quite nice ...

Anyway no babysitter so even had he been a dead ringer for George Clooney who was willing to foot the bill for a taxi would still have had to say no ...

I have just messaged someone who messaged me a while back on one site. He sort of stood out from the crowd.

I do know my problem really - its still mooning over exbf - this has been going on for two and a half years - really should get a grip!! ie having on/off relationship for 2.5 years since I split with exh. Was talking to RL friend over Xmas - exbf and I have a toxic connection. Yawn!

had a boring night in front of crappy tv, gonna go bed in a mo, have stayed of msn tonight purposely incase i get the urge to ask any more questions lol. Am def seeing mrjack tommorow just got to try and sort out a babysitter, if not it will be another night in.

i dont mind nights in really nina, but ive been in most of week cos of this weather, i get cabin fever lol

know what you mean ninah - think that's part of my problem - I'm too fussy and quite enjoy parking myself on the sofa with a good drama on TV/a book and MN (quite the multi-tasker me ...), the thought of getting dolled up for a night out with some unknown bloke who I don't know and quite possibly won't fancy - or who won't fancy me - is not very appealing.

But, I do miss adult company and some of the obvious bits of male company so will have to prise myself off and out at some point should the right(ish) person make himself known - but he's keeping mighty scarce atm!

oh, and at scl - OKC is OK Cupid.

oh yes I do get cabin fever too, but had to go out today to take dc to pantomine (their dad was meant to be could not make it) and one extra child too - so was nice to get back in
I think I will feel much more like actual dating when spring finally arrives and perhaps I've lost the Christmas overhang
