Evening everyone.

Ta da!

Do you know who it is?

Is it stoopid?

lou33 · 07/10/2009 21:43

not stupid

i just had about a 30 - 40 min phone call from lb

he hadnt been in touch today which is not like him, so i was a bit concerned something was wrong (not between us, but wrt his day)

anyway he called and as i thought , had a shitty day with everything going wrong, so told me about that

he listened to my shitty day, through my almost gone voice and we both cheered each other up, and laughing by the end

he told me that if i dont hear from him into the day not to read anything into it (whichi hadnt) it was only cos he was up to his eyes in it, and i was to know that i would always hear from him in the evening regardless

at which point he called me babe , without even realising it i think, though i noticed it

generally i object to being called babe because it is used by guys who are trying to chat me up and cant be bothered to remember my name in case they get it wrong with someone else, imo

but this was a different babe, and i actually will admit to a smile when he said it, though i didnt mention it

anyway he knows tomorrow is a hard day for me and said that he will be flat out so unlikely to be in touch but will be thinking of me and will call me in the evening when he gets home

then we had a bit of a saucy chat and both ended up smiling

I know who you are Haunty.

Lol at Lou and the different 'babe', it's amazing how it sounds different depending who says it.

Just had an email from Turkish Delight to say he misses me and am I going back next year. Had to smile at that one.

lou33 · 07/10/2009 23:10

smiles are good

and yes it does make a difference

right on that note i am off to bed

night

annoyedandupset · 08/10/2009 11:40

Hey all

Sounds like you have all been having fun, this thread moves so quickly and i cant keep up. I feel bad asking for advice when im not here for the chat all the time, but i just dont have the time ;(

Anyway, that guy i was talking to, was actually away that weekend on a work thing, taking pictures. He sent me his twitter page to prove it, and he said he didnt chat to me much that week as i had said i was really busy and he didnt want to take up my time.
So now i feel a bit mean. He is also replying to my texts now too. He still most def wants to meet up, ive got surgery booked and am going to be out of action for a few weeks and he has said he is more than happy to wait, he doesnt mind and i am worth waiting for...

So, its all good. I need to stop being paranoid right?

aseriouslyblondemoment · 08/10/2009 12:15

hmm
tbh and this is purely my gut reaction here based on my very own experience
i would be wary, v.wary..have to say i think that he is either married in a relationship or a player keeping his options open
men who are genuine seriously interested don't have excuses hang around
i would suggest that you also keep your options open and don't expect anything to come from this
i know that sounds extremely harsh but we all like to look out for each other on this thread

witcheseve · 08/10/2009 12:30

Think you should still doubt until proven innocent, with this one annoyed, take him with a pinch of salt.

ASBM you know what I'm so desperated atm that it cross my mind to send him the airfare to England in typical older women with young Turkish toy boy style. Why not?

aseriouslyblondemoment · 08/10/2009 12:40

deffo lol
will put a on your face and provide us girls with plenty of salacious gossip!

witcheseve · 08/10/2009 12:46

I'm going to reply tonight and ask him where he is going on holiday next year.

aseriouslyblondemoment · 08/10/2009 12:55

ooh you minxy you..let's hope he says a certain part of England lol
