lou33 · 29/07/2009 16:54

i am not sure i feel negative as such, more just accepting

dollparts · 29/07/2009 17:09

Lou-that's good that he's been in touch

rj-cake looks lovely. And I had no idea you were 25-just saw it on your profile!

ridingjoker · 29/07/2009 17:30

thanks dp - think i am the baby of the thread.

lou - good raf in touch. think you will see him again.

and whoever said about xmas... after an awful xmas past few yrs with ex ruining them... i am really looking forward to xmas day.. just keeping the door closed and playing with dc and their presents. not even going to make an xmas dinner.just have an xmas day in pj's. will be bliss.

does anyone else suffer something similar to me around that time of year aswell.... if i'm seeing anyone new i always end up chucking them in early december???... no idea why, maybe because i enjoy xmasses on my own? or maybe there is something about the festive period makes me see any bad faults and get rid of them? and i avoid men like the plague during the festive period too.

lou33 · 29/07/2009 17:52

raf man is a slight distraction from everything but not enough atm

now i have darkhorse here til definitely saturday, maybe he will help

he could babysit if i get another date lol

i dont feel like doing anything but sleeping atm though

thesouthsbelle · 29/07/2009 18:44

rj - I think we might do that actually althou mum n dad are cooking dinner so maybe we should go over in our jarmies n open the pressies with the others up there in them??

re the chucking - well stands to reason - it's cheaper lol.

Remotew · 29/07/2009 21:27

Flipping heck, July isn't even out yet stop talking about Christmas though the weather feels more like that time of year. Last Christmas was a major bug bear for me met someone just before and he was meant to be spending it with us. DD didn't like the idea so we split up instead!!

I've spend many a lovely Christmas just her and I and family of course.

I've had another message on POF of an interesting guy, call him 'Prof'. Might make an effort to keep these two ongoing.

Turkish delight has emailed me as well.

Remotew · 29/07/2009 21:38

RJ forgot to ask, what exams are you studying for. I'm in accounts too.

dollparts · 29/07/2009 21:42

ooh eve, turkish delight still knocking about then! Does he live in Turkey or was he just there on holiday at the same time as you?

Remotew · 29/07/2009 21:59

He lives in Turkey but was on his hols same as us. He is on my facebook but I don't expect to see him ever again. lol

lou33 · 29/07/2009 23:45

cor darkhorse arrived with 14 bottles of wine for me

he can come again

OP posts:
ridingjoker · 30/07/2009 09:08

eve - doing ou certificate in accounting. not sure what the exams are called as there is 3 acca recognised exams to be sat in examination centre. which is going to be a real pain.

ex will refuse point blank to watch them. when i asked him to watch them last week for me to study, he said as much as there was no point as its pointless me doing this

other family working through daytimes. so i'll need to book dc in private nursery for extra day at £72 per day.

Remotew · 30/07/2009 11:41

I did AAT then stopped studying. Had a look at it on the website and it looks a good course.

dollparts · 30/07/2009 15:40

Hi girls, this week can fuck off end right now, I've had enough!

Had a rant elsewhere in the lone parents section. See post 'I hate my exhb'

Too early for wine methinks?

lou33 · 30/07/2009 20:51

exh just asked kids to call him and informed hem without telling me first that his gf is pg again

dd1 asked if it was definitely his this time , lol

no emails to me about it, you would think he would at some point learn how to do things the right way wouldnt you?

OP posts:
inthemistsoftime · 30/07/2009 23:07

evening all, just popping in to say hi, will be adding my two pennys worth later

thesouthsbelle · 31/07/2009 08:05

i'm also popping in for a minute.

I have studied with the CAT (Acca's equiv to the AAT)

the degree is proving to be more of a challenge thou as it's hard to get out of the accounting mind set.

anyhow, the sailor keeps ringing, I chickened out & said we'll play things by ear. have started to tail off contacting him thou, sad thing is he's a nice bloke when sober & the other end of the phone/not kissing me so I would quite like to keep him as a friend but nothing more.

The DJ has apparently now found someone who makes his stomach flip - hmm! bit of history there so it's sort of yeah cheers then, still onwards n upwards.

A chappy who I shall call back burner got in contact again over the weekend as well, he's local, n is nice. so I think when the outlaws have DS in a fortnights time we'll go for coffee or something. Def NO dinner dates for me until AFTER i've done coffee (second one just had and both were bad! lol)

aseriouslyblondemoment · 31/07/2009 11:56

itm am awaiting a full update here girl
def think there must be something about uniforms eh RJ and Lou?!
hope everyone else is ok?
all good with me tho dcs wearing me out atm if only the weather was better!

thesouthsbelle · 31/07/2009 12:18

oh yes uniforms are good, till u spend all week chasing them n telling them not to leave their dirty smelly ex. kit under teh stairs cos it's horrid!

aseriouslyblondemoment · 31/07/2009 12:33

ohh i don't have that prob
he came house trained too lol

lou33 · 31/07/2009 13:08

well i am not overly fussed atm uniform or not, what with the troubles going on regarding dd1, and now her reaction to her father's news

darkhorse has gone back his way fro a few days , he had to sort some stuff out, but reckons he will come back next week

i dont mind him going off, i like a bit of space and like i said to him last night, he is not my bf so it is up to him what he does, he is only staying on and off til he sorts his accommodation out
