I had a lovely day yesterday. Finished work earlier that I thought and went to watch an air show over the lake. DD went on the fairground and then we sat in a beautiful hotel garden with a beer, fantastic views. Then went out for a pizza and onto a friends house party.

Felt worse for wear this morning, so I am having a hair of the dog, well it is my birthday tommorrow.

happy birthday eve.

so... i went on 2 dates today. 1 with a guy been messaging and then suddenly sprung into action. shall we call him the tree.... was no spark, as i said to janos. not even an eco lightbulb. was super fit. but just no zing.

and then when i came home i managed to persuade thecopper to get his hungover self out for a bit. .... i'm in a real quandry here. he's really nice. good looking, lovely bloke... but a little on the skinny side. i'm quite muscley. and got plenty to hold onto. where as this guy is toned. but slender. not a pick of fat on him.

wondering if he would always be whippet thin. or just needing fed properly

mind you. i have yet to see him naked. ended up back at mine and ....he says he's making me wait. can you believe it. before i even had the chance to turn him down he removed himself from an embrace and informed me wants us "to wait"......aye-currumba.

can i have the body of BigT,and personality of thecopper. both handsome of the face. so no choice there.

Lou, I text him he text me back in a non commital way. He hasn't even acknowledged my bday perhaps he doesn't know even though I mentioned it. I need more than that. Never mind, I'll get over it.

Must admit the thought of another year on the clock and still single isn't making me feel like celebrating. It's always, birthday, valentines and christmas that it bothers me. Normal days it doesn't.

birthdays aren't too bad for me as I tend to do something with my sisters, usually involving wine, and never really been into Valentines, but HATE christmas, all the happy family ads etc
blood tests not a festive start have a festive lunch and I'm sure things will start to look up

I'm bleary eyed here - samename and I went out for dinner and then just as we were dropping off there was an altercation between my neighbour and the couple acros the way in my usually very quiet little close. Over parking!!

After that couldn't sleep (the bluecheese dressing didn't help), he was out sparko so got in my son's bed dropped off about 5am and then alarm went off at 7, got back into my bed. Samename got amorous (thank god cos I was beginning to think there might a little prob there), dropped him at the tube then came back and went to bed for a couple of hours. Am now at work feeling shite.

Urgh scl. I hate that grotty too tired feeling.

I almost hesitate to say it but I was asked if I minded 'something' being filmed and put on the internet. It's made me feel a bit bleurgh and icky to be honest.

Should have added - samename is quite endearing in many ways but still not 100% sure.

Also found some draft emails I had written to exbf and not sent and basically he does the same thing over and over again ie goes incommunicado and then pops up again - it just reminded me how many times I have been there over the past two years.

When challenged he just says cold feet or left it too long and got scared. But I have to stop contacting him for a bit cos it's like self inflicted torture.
