hi,i'm steph,split up with my sons father when i was 8weeks pregnant cos he was nasty to my daughter(from another relationship),but i still am having sex with him 2years down the line and he has a fiance,my family tell me to stop?but we only split up cos we didnt get on not cos we stopped fancying eachother so we have been carrying on but he is living with someone else yet doesnt seem to mind cheating on her,does anyone else think i should stop???

So, how do you think you're going to stop when/if he's married? If you can't stop now, you won't stop then.

And you don't 'have' to have sex. It's nice, it's fun. but it isn't like eating, drinking and having a dump. you are not going to die if you do without for a bit.

I'd like a lot of things in life, but I realise that to ge them I'd have to hurt a lot of people, so I have a sense of proprtion.

I'd like a round the world cruse, but it isn't going to happen unliess I rob the bank. So I'll put it on hold for a while.

Sex is a blast, but is it worth all the heart ache that this situation is going to cause? For steph, for her kids? So if the urge gets to much, sort it out yurself, and then find someone that cares about you!

All I can say is you asked a question we gave some answers. You obviously don't want to stop so why bother ask the question. YOu don't care about the "other" woman so why should be worried about what your doing? I tried to give some constructive advice but you had your mind alreayd made up. Thats what i see, open to correction.

Have seen your situation many times before, with neighbours where i used to live, and relatives of mine. I think it's more about your lack of self esteem and confdence than anything else, and that's why you keep going back to him.
