group of girls having fun at something boys like to do?

she may be like a kid in a sweet shop!

aside from that life shouldnt be all about looking for a man, you have to have fun with your mates too

aseriouslyblondemoment · 17/02/2009 14:43

yes that is very true
but do like some nice male company too
as long as it's not the dreaded 24/7 variety
aaaagh...

Lou, have fun!
Elmo, don't worry about feeling nervous, I'm in the same boat as you but I am also looking forward to my first encounter after marriage.

Been chatting to a couple of guys on POF today, one was through IM, he was on the webcam, seemed like a nice guy really sincere but looks wise not my type. The other guy has been emailing me, and looks wise is more my type but seems short on words so not sure if his persoanlity is right, and worried he may not be that much of a conversationalist but he has suggested talking on the phone.

N1 - Need a male opinion on this. If a man says he's not too bothered by looks but feels personality is more important, is he saying this because a) He's ugly and knows it, b)He thinks its what women like to hear or c)another reason entirely?

HOLLY23 · 17/02/2009 15:18

N1 , also what are your thoughts on women approaching men via emails etc? If a woman approached you and said she liked your profile etc, would you think she is too forward? or would you feel she is assertive and confident? and what about these winks that you can use on FRD? do you think their silly? would you prefer an actual message to a wink?

N1 · 17/02/2009 15:25

The diver visits occasionaly. The girls will be there tomorow. If you see diver, the girls will want to see you to get the news update. If you skip the diver, he is unlikely to want to see you as much as the girls want to see you. The diver is a new thing, you know what the girls get up to.

aseriouslyblondemoment · 17/02/2009 15:28

Holly
how did you feel about using the webcam?
i remember the first time i used mine and i already was seeing that guy and i still found it unnerving!
i find that usually people type as they think esp.on MNS and IM and it helps you get a feel for their personality
tho this theory of mine recently let me down as cheeky chops was a very confident kind of guy behind his texts/IM/MSN,a bit reluctant to speak on the phone too as i recall, and a touch nervous then as well.
But in RL he was painfully shy

N1 you popped up again
obviously knew i was about

OP posts:
HOLLY23 · 17/02/2009 15:45

thought the webcam thing was a bit weird and I will not go on one anyway but at least I could see he's not my cup of tea.

N1 - your answer to my questions would be very much appreciated, its not a trap for us to get more information out of you for asbm, somehow I don't think she needs our help to do that!

aseriouslyblondemoment · 17/02/2009 15:52

no i don't think i do Holly
so he chose to go on his webcam did he?
what is your gut feeling about today's options then?

OP posts:
elmoandella · 17/02/2009 15:53

n1 - so are you saying i should take diver karting and just fill the girls in the next day and see them both??

i'm thinking....i'll get the girls to trade in their tesco vouchers for karting vouchers too. then i can go with diver one day and girls another

problem solved.

elmoandella · 17/02/2009 15:54

i dont have webcam and dont do them. i just feeze up and have no idea what to say

aseriouslyblondemoment · 17/02/2009 15:55

i have only looked quickly earlier and that site is so bloomin slow
and have been asked out again lol.

HOLLY23 · 17/02/2009 16:00

frd in my area are hideous. check out 20 mile radius of eh48. scary specimens

aseriouslyblondemoment · 17/02/2009 16:20

when did you last take a peek on there?
there seems to be quite alot of new members this week
only problem is logging off from there sometimes it takes forever

OP posts:
elmoandella · 17/02/2009 16:21

yeah i see there's a lot of new members but no phot's. i dont have photo either though

elmoandella · 17/02/2009 16:22

bugger. banker has just logged on and i'm available on msn. cant be arsed talking to him just now. will pray silently he's busy and wont send message

aseriouslyblondemoment · 17/02/2009 16:28

neither do i as FRD bigwigs said it wasn't clear enough tho looking at some of the pics on there i was a bit miffed
and i haven't had complaints from those who've seen it either
alot dont as are too embarrassed to admit to using online dating or are not sure of themselves
some like to be judged on who they are not just their looks

OP posts:
elmoandella · 17/02/2009 16:30

i fall into the too embarassed category. and i've only got photo's that are about1-2 yr out of date .

why do people put photo's of themselves in bed on their profile??

aseriouslyblondemoment · 17/02/2009 16:30

quickly change your status to busy or ignore the pings.

OP posts:
aseriouslyblondemoment · 17/02/2009 16:32
