Where did I meet her... I left my email address on a forum and one of the people who sent me an email was her. We have been chatting on MSN mostly and texting a fair bit, to the point where things look good. She and I have spoken on the phone, though not at any great length. I would imagine that we might talk more in the future.

I think the lady might be lucky but until we meet, I can't say and obviously I can't talk for her. Perceivably, you might feel my confidence isn't showing as strongly as it should. Perhaps perception is being applied with lack of public knowledge.

I am not sure of the cyber woman definition. Perhaps you might offer a description of that woman and I might be able to say if I think of her as a cyber woman. When I speak to her again, I will consult and see if she considers herself as a cyber woman.

asbm - meetup in Brum sounds like an excellent idea, let me know whats doable for you in terms of dates/ times etc.

SpiceM - I only joined POF and FRD a few weeks back. I've chatted to 2/3 guys from POF, but only one has really caught my attention and we are emailing daily with a plan to phone and talk to each other in the next few days I would imagine. If that goes OK then we may meet up. I haven't got my photo on any dating website, just my profile, and then if I decide I like the guy to take things further, then I ask for their email address to send it to them. I've done that with this guy (I call him fit guy because he looks quite athletic! and he liked my pic so so far so good but its early days. If I do end up meeting him, it will be somewhere very public and a place I know so I feel safe because you just never know, but then its in my nature to be cautious!

out of curiosity, how many messages does a thread have to contain before were not aloud to post anymore? its just this one's already on 962! does that mean we have a part 3 coming up soon?

Think you maybe confused. The guy I think you're referring to is the one I met in RL - I've well and truly given him the brush off now. Webcam guy is off POF and we've emailed and used IM, initially on Monday and then Tuesday. alhtough he is interested in a relationship he has said friendship is ok as well but would like to see a pic of me, as I've seen him on webcam when we used IM on Tuesday, anyway I'm not bothered about that because atm I'm more stressed with the fact XH is acting like a total prick knob idiot! Still I've ranted in another thread about this and will now search for my inner peace and harmony!

well this cm (using asbm's terminology) seems terribly keen, but in a nice way, we have similar out looks on life as well, so it bodes well.

the kids dad spends time with them on Tues eve, so I have a few hours off, cm is working up town at the moment so will meet him in a bar some where.

I used to work in the city, so it will feel like old times or maybe a bit weird!

Kids dad still works there but as he is looking after the kids, I wont be worrying about bumping into him accidently with one of his floozies! Yeah

Elmo, I know exactly what you mean, I still have to sort out maintenance with XH, so have to be careful as well. Luckily XH lives 35 miles away from me! (sigh if relief).
As for my man situation, it is confusing thats why I'm just sticking to chatting on more friendlier terms with fitman. (Although Kor from FRD hasn't appeared to have read my message yet!

and ive been caught by CM3 on my MSN which i didnt realise i was still signed into
so i am making an effort and having a quick chat but at least the convo isn't taking a pervy turn
CM2 has left me alone so far today i imagine that his blackberry has blown up the amount of texts he sent me yesterday.
