HOLLY23 · 15/02/2009 20:58

and what sort of personality or profile do you like? E.g. does he have to have a professional job, do you like someone quiet or outgoing? Ah yes and I know which blondie cyberman has caught your eye

inthemistsoftime · 15/02/2009 21:07

no, nothing new to report her, hasn't phoned or txted so don't know where that leaves me!

I take small comfort in that he seemed genuinely sorry that he might have to cancel the date. I know he is out most of the weekend with family members who have popped over for a visit so I should imagine he is pretty busy.

Having said all that, there is no excuse for not sending a quick text and I shall be reminding him of that fact if I ever speak to him again!

aseriouslyblondemoment · 15/02/2009 21:09

hehe!
ladies
no status means nothing to me
tho was very put off by one man who worked for of all people the CSA FFS!
i prefer more outgoing men tbh
shy is ok but there's shy and there's downright timid too

does mean I get to go to the cinema instead, which i am really looking forward to.

elmoandella · 15/02/2009 21:10

inthemist - it's a pain that. he may seem like he's genuinly sorry....but i'll be honest. no matter how busy i am...if i agree to meet or do something/someone then i do it. i'm not a huge fan of cancelling things and letting people down.

i like to expect the same from someone i was dating.

aseriouslyblondemoment · 15/02/2009 21:11

inthemist
its plain courtesy again
a quick text is all it is
obviously another tosser man who's fingers have dropped off

OP posts:
inthemistsoftime · 15/02/2009 21:15

thats what I love about you ladies,

you tell it like it is!!!

and you are right it is common courtesy to let me know although I suppose it is still early!

will make sure that I dont answer txt or phone from him, i am givimg him a taste of his own medicine or looking at it from another point of view, childish?

HOLLY23 · 15/02/2009 21:15

inthemist - its a shame he couldn't send a quick text just out of courtesy at least!
asbm - I am looking at FRD now and will keep you posted!

inthemistsoftime · 15/02/2009 21:17

have been on POF today and have this very very keen guy, hasn't even seen a picture of me or spoken at any length but wants to buy me dinner next week. Is that normal?

aseriouslyblondemoment · 15/02/2009 21:19

it works on us ladies!
and Holly you haven't answered me re:PisceanAlan
inthemist you might like him too tho he's a Midlander,he's not like hardoneby i promise!

OP posts:
elmoandella · 15/02/2009 21:20

inthemist - have you seen a pic of him?

HOLLY23 · 15/02/2009 21:20

what does he look like?

aseriouslyblondemoment · 15/02/2009 21:23

hmm,
hard to say what normal is really
tho he may be keen as he doesnt have the same commitments as you i.e the dcs
i would certainly want to chat for a while before a meet up
but maybe he has agood feeling about you?

OP posts:
HOLLY23 · 15/02/2009 21:25

He may be knew new to this as well which is why he appears enthusiastic.
I agree with asbm, you get to know him a little better first

elmoandella · 15/02/2009 21:25

just meet him. look at what happened to me. i had not really a proper idea of what diver looked like. was always in wet suits. finally got to see photo last night. but even if i hadn't seen photo i was still going to meet up as chat was good and i knew i would enjoy myself

aseriouslyblondemoment · 15/02/2009 21:27

fighting talk from Elmo there
yes dont let that idiot from the other week
put you off

OP posts:
HOLLY23 · 15/02/2009 21:28

asbm, whats an acceptable minimum height?

aseriouslyblondemoment · 15/02/2009 21:29

5 11" i think 5 10" at a push
but then trainers don't look good with a nice dress do they?

OP posts:
elmoandella · 15/02/2009 21:30

i like a good 6foot minimum as i'm tall. lol.

aseriouslyblondemoment · 15/02/2009 21:32

Holly i will laugh if you come up with any of my previous dates
or worse the exbf

OP posts:
elmoandella · 15/02/2009 21:32

actually thats one of my favourite things since single. i can wear high heels whenever i want. exdp was same height as me. so if i wore heels i towered over him.

HOLLY23 · 15/02/2009 21:33

is anyone else finding the FRD website slow tonight?

HOLLY23 · 15/02/2009 21:34

I'm a short-arse compared to you two!

aseriouslyblondemoment · 15/02/2009 21:34

yes its nice to wear heels isnt it?
i dont everyday tho as couldnt keep up with the dcs otherwise

OP posts:
aseriouslyblondemoment · 15/02/2009 21:36

yes it is a tad slow
at least it was earlier
its probably all those men running as they know the MN girls are a-lookin lol!
