ASBM - if you like seana then go for it!

aseriouslyblondemoment · 14/02/2009 14:39

nah wouldn't be fair you saw him first!
and tbh we're probably not each other's types

Well its up to you, but tbh honest decided after what happened with OM, I'm just better off waiting a while. I've just got too much on my plate at the moment so it will be quite a while before I think of dating anyone! I just wasn't sure what type of men would be on these dating websites so it was just out of curiosity I started looking at profiles but really not interested in anyone, which is why I haven't paid any subscriptions fees as yet!

aseriouslyblondemoment · 14/02/2009 14:59

its a def no
strangely enough when i went on there last year it was thru curiosity
and i ended up seeing a couple of men
this time when i've actually thought it thru
have only met one
though i've only been on there a few weeks
it seems that there are a shortage of eligble men
or maybe i'm just too damn scary for them

afternoon. suffering from a hangover here. no cards. got valentines message from banker at 1.30am when i went online to show a friend something. then was chatting again just now. he says he thinks we're never going to meet and he's giving up. told him "good things come to those who wait" and he left it be not to push for a meeting.

diver text last night and this morning.no mention of valentines. but he's got a shift as bouncer tonight so says he's not going on the lash and will definately be meeting tomorrow.

but exdp says he wont take kids as he's going to old firm. he's in for a shock as i'm not breaking the news to elmo as elmo is super excited about going deep sea world. i'll take them to him in morning. and either he can explain why he's not taking them or he can forget footy and just take them.

i may not be on long. thinking about going to die on the sofa.

HOLLY23 · 14/02/2009 15:15

Elmo, take 2 paracetomol, have some toast (if you haven't eaten) and drinks loads and loads of water. Just lie down like you said and you will be ok in a few hours

elmoandella · 14/02/2009 15:20

went to bed at 4am. got up at 6.30am. going to bed with kids at 7pm tonight.

aseriouslyblondemoment · 14/02/2009 16:02

lol at Elmo
i rarely get them unless i mix my drinks or drink red without food
banker still on the cards tho thats good
and er if tomorrow gets messed up tell your ex that he'll have asbm on his case!

i'm hiding offline from banker. he's sent a message while i was off asking if he can come round and take care of me in my hungover state?????

wtf??

he wont even trust me with his phone number. yet he wants me to give him my address!!

aseriouslyblondemoment · 14/02/2009 16:38

hmm seems a bit rich
i would willingly play the patient but then that's just me

OP posts:
elmoandella · 14/02/2009 17:31

but would you give out your address over phone or msn to someone you've never laid eyes on before??i kinda know what he looks like from the bank. but this could be anybody??who's to say its really him as i have never met him since been in contact to verify it??

lou33 · 14/02/2009 17:59

my friend who came round earlier wants me to go see him this evening and have a drink, but tbh i have too much chaos here, and too lethargic to go, though he would probably come get me

aseriouslyblondemoment · 14/02/2009 18:09

if i were you Lou i'd let him come and get me but then that's me
not known to put up much resistance
Elmo yes of course
you're doing the right thing
so would i in your situation

I went to the pub this afternoon, there was a wedding party there. Lovely day to get married.

Been chatting in a nice young man on MSN, aged 29 and lives 30 miles away. He's gone for his 'tea' wonder if his mum has called him. lol

elmoandella · 14/02/2009 18:24

if someone were ever to get me married i choose valentines day.to
a)save on buying gifts for 2 occasions
b)guests will guaranteed to have a good valentines that yr
c) colour scheme is easy---red

but...... i'm not a big believer in marriage. would only do it if it was a deal breaker

Remotew · 14/02/2009 18:25

You should go Lou, is it the one who fell asleep last time?

Remotew · 14/02/2009 18:26

The groom was chatting to us, he was chuffed to bits.

lou33 · 14/02/2009 18:31

oh i have too much to do, then i would waste half of tomorrow before i got myself together to carry on sorting stuff out here in time for tuesday

am having a serious declutter

elmoandella · 14/02/2009 18:53

just go lou. spontaneous things are always fun.planned things never go aswell as planned. i'm looking forward to tomorrow and not so nervous as other arranged dates as there's no real plan. just to meet at kelvingrove gallery and go from there. which is fab.

HOLLY23 · 14/02/2009 18:54

Elmo - wtf with banker? That just sounds weird and would do exactly the same as you in that situation.
I thought only people in soaps got married on valentines!
Well I'm off, have to carry on getting ready, takes me a bit longer nowadays!
Have a good evening everyone!

HOLLY23 · 14/02/2009 18:57

Oh and Lou, you should go and enjoy yourself, you can de-clutter another time. Then you can come back here tell us all about it, to provide hope to people like me!

N1 · 14/02/2009 18:58

I got an extra special valintine text today. With kisses!! That text in words is usual but in meaning is high caliber. I recon that i might have to make provision for a trip which can unarguably lead to fond memories. The valentine signed theio mame as x. I wonder if this topic is being watched?

elmoandella · 14/02/2009 18:58

does anyone think i'm just being weird when i suggest banker may be otherwise attached. here is my "evidence"

--witheld number when calling(says cause its an office number).
--calls when out tending dogs or in office
--cancelled public meetings, but happy to meet in mine or his house??
--often just "disappears" on msn, as if cut off. (he blames poor internet connection)

elmoandella · 14/02/2009 18:59

or asbm=x lol.

go on...spill n1, what did it say exactly??

N1 · 14/02/2009 19:07

If the cilla hat was for me, it can go in the draw again unles asbm or another needs someone to wear it. I cant remember the last valentine wish i got, i usually avoid them.
