its just a thought which has been pondered upon by a few of us on here
as Lou 33 said if she knew the answer then she wouldn't be on MN

if you check to see someone elses profile again after looking at it ages ago....do you go back to the top of their list of who viewed them???

aseriouslyblondemoment · 08/02/2009 22:15

niceguy2 is a fellow MN
we talk on msn regularly for the male/female POV

aseriouslyblondemoment · 08/02/2009 22:27

what?

OP posts:
elmoandella · 08/02/2009 22:34

grin was for hitting on single men.

i've just hidden my pof profile. was going to delete as had some real weirdos and it's quite worrying and upsetting what some guys write when you ignore their original message they send you. but it gave me the option to hide incase i change my mind.decided not to meet banker.these assholes today have put me off men for just now.

plus at the party last night i realised perhaps finding someone in RL is better.got asked for my number last night but he wasn't tall enough. only same height as me. and i cant be doing with having to wear flats all time.lol. so gently turned him down by saying it was "too soon".

right. i should be off to bed for my interview tomorrow.

elmoandella · 08/02/2009 22:40

i've just decided to delete my POF account. one guy really got to me today. because i ignored his email he sent one along the lines of "go f yourself you fing protitute" i'm still a bit freaked out by it.

aseriouslyblondemoment · 08/02/2009 22:42

lol!cheeky is tall so had my heels on!
feet paying for it today tho
and fingers X big time for tomorrow
GO ELMO!!!!

well absolutely everything on this front has ground to a halt for me - it's very weird and hope it's not me!! or some sort of karma

My phone is working very well as have numerous chats with female friends today.

I find the randomness of it all very hard - I feel completely out of control.

aseriouslyblondemoment · 08/02/2009 22:56

what?
that's his problem not yours hes a rude idiot with obvious problems that he needs to have sorted
please dont let this prick put you off after all you've come thru

OP posts:
sincitylover · 08/02/2009 22:56

seriously beginning to think it is all doomed
and why bother

but that could be PMT talking

sincitylover · 08/02/2009 23:02

yes agree ASBM - elmo that is not a normal thing to write at all!! he obviously has ishoos

sincitylover · 08/02/2009 23:27

sorry have been watching the BAFTAS, wishing I had become an actress/performer and have turned into a drama queen!!

aseriouslyblondemoment · 08/02/2009 23:41

yes SERIOUS ONES!!
but have received nasty fan-mail too tbh
you do have to stop and think
yes its not nice at all
it does un-nerve you but please think these are internet people after all
you haven't met them or chatted/spoken so they do not deserve your time

OP posts:
N1 · 09/02/2009 06:59

The snow must have given a few people cold feet and kept them in. I feel sorry for the bloke on the water - I guess it's going to be cold.

elmoandella · 09/02/2009 08:16

he'll have his "wooly bear" on.accompanied by long john, thick cotton jogers and fleeces. he'll be fine.i discussed the issue of being out in this freezing weather. lol

HOLLY23 · 09/02/2009 08:37

Ninah - Met him at a recruitment agency that I'm a client off. Very unprofessional and wish now I'd never engaged in any personal conversations with him. Still I'm represented by other recruitment agencies as well so hopefully I will suffer any detriment.

Elmo - can't believe a person could send you an message like that, he must have psycho tendancies! at least you can block him - is it not possible to report him to the internet site he's registered on or could that be problematic?

lou33 · 09/02/2009 09:08

there are always idiots online, the best way to deal with them is by not replying, any interaction is seen as a positive thing by them, regardless of the tone

they are the ones who are in the wrong, and it wont be just you they are behaving like that towards

i'm still trying to get a hint from the young man who is away, what he has planned for us when he gets back

driving me nuts!

aseriouslyblondemoment · 09/02/2009 09:59

lol Lou!
would drive me nuts too
i'm just too damn impatient!!
have also heard a story of a woman trying to extort money from men on a site too
and yes laydees with er adam's apples a plenty
the FRD one obviously has similar taste in men to me tho as hit on two blokes that i've been out with

OP posts:
HOLLY23 · 09/02/2009 10:07

so do these trannys try to set up dates with blokes without them realising he/she is a tranny? I shouldn't laugh but the consequences...........!

aseriouslyblondemoment · 09/02/2009 10:33

well both cheeky and other guy i went out with told me that they read the said tranny's profile
am saying 'said' as i'm convinced it's the same one tbh
apparently tranny looked female
but on his/her/it's profile actually said 'i'm a transsexual'
fortunately they both laughed it off

OP posts:
elmoandella · 09/02/2009 11:14

i had ignored guys original email is why he sent the abusive one. really has put me off the internet dating lark.

will stick to good old fashioned RL meetings

holly - thats very unprofessional.

asbm - the tranny's do state they are. and i think they hit on everybody they can. in the hope someone wont mind the fact they're packing a big ding dong down there.

lou33 · 09/02/2009 11:19

blimey elmo i ignore 95% of the ones i get and cant say i have had anyone react like that!

elmoandella · 09/02/2009 11:27

there was this other really big fat ugly bloke kept sending me 2 or 3 every day till i blocked him. just same thing "hi, how are you, what you up to"

aseriouslyblondemoment · 09/02/2009 11:44

lol Elmo!
news of banker?
still havent heard from cheeky chops
didnt get the impression that he wasnt interested just very shy and nervous and a bit out of practice
not too sure whether to send a friendly 'how are you?' text later
