I have all my keys back, and atm I am keeping the key in the front door because I can't afford to change the locks yet.

Does he have hopes of the two of you reuniting? If so, and assuming it's not on your agenda, I would nip this in the bud straight away and tell her it's not going to happen.

I am not sure what they are playing at tbh.
I made it clear to ex H from the beginning, that there was no chance of me changing my mind, and he hasn't been pestering me, but has become very close to my parents (has only just moved from their house to his own!), and he still wears his wedding ring.
I do feel my parents are desperately hoping I end up back with him, and they appear to be in an odd state of denial, even now that we are both in our own houses.
It is really doing my head in!

My Mum did this with my first husband. he took the children to Florida (by this time I was remarried) and when he brought them back to my Mum's (I was there waiting for them) she tried to get me to get dressed up saying 'why don't you two go out for a drink...just for old times' sake?'!!!!!!! whilst winking manically. She hated him when we were married too.

I think they are setting themselves up for disappointment in the long run. I don't know why you split in the first place but surely they do and they don't appear to be showing you much respect by assuming they can just take charge and matchmake again as if nothing happened.

I saw the tittle and knew this would be you PC.. you're mum is behaving very strangely! If it were my mum I'd text back saying "Are you insane? no, really.."
