an amazing insight into the non workings of the male mind.
certainly explains why i still get random texts/emails off people who ive said no too.
I got very very angry at one the other week. he emailed me.( from a new email address that wasnt blocked) to tell me he had a new car.
i asked who he was and he was like ' we had a drink last summer'

i didnt reply. so i got another message the next day.. a general conversation one and i got very pissed off and said while it was lovely to know he had a new car, i could not work out why he felt the need to email me, a person he spent 1 hour with, last summer... about it.

i didnt get another reply.. :)

obviously fishing the same hole.

Had a weird mothers day, mostly childless, some fab TLOML moments, but several hours of absolute horror and distress due to unexpected visit from best friend who told me her marriage is over and all about the shite she's been putting up with for last three years. She lives 3 miles away, our girls are BFFs and I still had no idea at all

i have a personal rule. never have sex with someone who say they want to "fuck me"

infact... i tend to follow it up with a slap in the face and never speaking to again.

you wouldn't allow someone to say that to your face. so why allow them(or think it even the slightest acceptable) to do it via text/email/phone.

Of course all of the men you meet/ chat to on dating sites want sex, it's at least part of the reason why they're there (it's at least part of the reason why any of us want to meet men)... Plus, you're gorgeous!

BUT there is a difference between the nice blokes that, yes, want to shag you, but because you're pretty and intelligent (and all the other things that we all are) and the kind of bloke, like boatman, who wants a living blow up doll.
I agree with NMN on how to deal with the latter.

Btw, TG was brilliant, I had such a good night, wish I could go out dressed like that every time I go out, I felt so confident in what I was wearing that I walked my mate to the night bus without my coat on! The club itself seemed quite tame compared to what I was expecting... maybe I'm just not that easily shocked! I will put photos on my profile, once I actually get hold of some (forgot to take any myself, so I'm waiting for my mates to put some up on FB.)

I also had a lovely Mother's Day surprise, firstly in the form of being given a lie in (very welcome as I didn't go to bed til 5am!) and then being woken with chocs and roses (which ex had taken DD out to buy on sunday morning, to keep her from coming and waking me!)

Told POF guy I am not in the right heart place to do a drink atm. Been nosing through his fb, he is more appealing on his photos actually out doing stuff. I was anti-adding potentials on fb originally, but I feel you can get to know someone a lot better by the crap they put on there. He says to let him know as/when I get sorted.

Last night, at 1030 i got a text from somone i exchanged a few messages with from match way back in jan. Asking how ive been and saying he would still really like to take me out for a drink or dinner. Do you think i should give him a chance.. or maybe ask for his msn... or exchange a few emails with him?? Or - do i think hes a loser for keeping texting somone without getting any reply... and for using the word hunny. which, and i cant help it, fucking pisses me off.

Of course, there is also buddist..... but im still not sure how i feel about the whole buddist thing? ( and thats very un pc of me to say isnt it)

Sin I got my entire outfit from a shop in Glasgow, as did one of my friends. One wall of the shop was all rails of corsets. I cheated and got one with plastic boning. My friend had a proper one with steel 'bones', it cost about £50 which is really good. My other friend made hers but she is a damn fine needlewoman.

I think what I really loved was the corset and Doc Martens combo!

trainman update : very quickly - was pi$$ing with rain this morning and I was drenched, no TM when I got to the station and no seats on the train, he jumped on at the last minute, smiled at me and stood next to me for the entire journey. everytime we accidentally brushed against each other i swear i blushed. I was clearly thinking about shagging him for the gloriously delayed, very s l o w journey. Around about 10 minutes before the end, he turned his back on me - i can deal with this as it's uncomfortable standing up for a delayed journey, i was arguably a bit damp (ladies! please! rain! ) and I got a smile. !

SCL, corsets are amazing, I've a black steel boned waspie that i wear very occasionally. I got mine from ebay. FLF which shop in Glasgow? down behind st enochs? theres a few alt-clothes shops there that are quite reasonable. :)

Cyber- Kings Court, off Kings Street. It was the first time I'd been shopping in Glasgow and i went alt-clothes shopping- Hooray!
The corset and skirt together cost me £35 I don't really have enough figure to warrant a steel boned one, so I figured I'd save my money, which is good, cos TG is back here in October, so I can start planning my next outfit

My corset was £80, but it was mate's rates - custom made to fit me. She normally does them for about £100 (www.straygoddess.co.uk I think)

I have had a shit day today, I got woken up at 6am with a shitty text from my ex who went delving through my computer history when looking after the boys and discovered okcupid and went off the flipping deep end. I am so sick of having to hide stuff from him, I feel so creeped that he checks up on me.

I am giving up on relationships full stop for a while and I'm just gonna enjoy hanging out with my friends and my boys.
