Snape - that's probably the sort of thing I would do as generally tend to do some rather impulsive things. I rein it in alot tbh which makes me think that I'm not being true to myself where men are concerned.

In fact absolutely hate the idea that I do restrain myself in matters of the heart quite alot. FFS I should just be myself.

And if the man in question can't handle the more quirky woman then maybe they weren't the right one IYKWIM.

I suppose it's the tension between having a rather bland and restrained upbringing (by rather cautious and young parents) and my true nature which is not like at all.

I worry about how I come across, and like you, feel like I am not being true to myself by that. I should be me, and if me isn't right, then me is the wrong person/the person is wrong for me.

Unfortunately I am struggling to find the right one.

snape - that is incrediably sweet. Im sure he will love it.

I have got to a stage where I am pretty much myself, but it's much easier when you're not bothered about meeting someone. I used to mind when they backed away slowly...

Hi all, just checking in. Have been having a catch up on the thread. I agree with Flame re PM, Mr Big, Carrott. what on earth is it with these men? They just cant seem to see what is right in front of them. Ladies, they just dont know what they are missing

Meanwhile back at elastic towers am back to spending evenings in resturants with GW. When i am down south cant go home to his as he still lives with ex. But we have made plans for next couple of weeks and for easter - for once in my life I know where I stand and it is a really nice feeling
