Quick update from me. Still seeing EV, we went out for a nice meal last night and a few drinks. He's going ski-ing and with a group of people who he doesn't know, like a singles holiday but he wasn't selling it to me as such what do we think? TBH we are only dating and I cannot see us going anywhere.

Typical it's the weekend and it's clouded in, was hoping to sit out a sunbathe today. Think it's time I got dressed.

Betty, if you go on 'would like to meet' it brings up profiles of people who fit your criteria. If you press yes to anyone it sends them a message that you would like to meet them. When I was on POF I never sent messages to people and only replied if I liked the look of anyone who messaged me. Said yes to a couple of profiles and had 2 dates with someone I liked but he hit an run, then EV who I've been out with a few times now. So it's not such a bad thing.

Adam, i wouldnt worry too much about the skiing thing if you are just dating. Lots of people ski with groups, its not a sport that is that much fun on your own.

Have had lovely weekend so far. GW has just gone home. Had a really nice evening together. He ended up going with me to pick DS1 up from his ski trip as they turned up 3 hours early and the teacher rang me whilst we were out walking the dogs together!!! DS1 is tired but happy - and so am I!

Am seeing GW again on Wed. Am really happy with him

Snape good on you re the march, hope the students were represented again. I've heard that Gideon has said it won't change anything . I am very worried for the future tbh. They have hit my family very hard. Loss of EMA and Uni fees, it couldn't be any worse for us personally, well it could, my job could be under threat aswell but am hopeful that I am in a unique position workwise and I won't be affected further, fingers crossed.

Flame - if you think that your actions are the result of bi-polar, why don't you see your gp? Have you taken any advice on mn about bi-polar? A colleague of mine had bi-polar and takes medication. Mental health threads are full of good advice and support. This thread is not equipped to deal with it. There is help elsewhere. I hope you get it.

Great night out. Carrot backed out last min which I had suspected he would but pissed off he said yes right up to last minute. That is one of his biggest flaws - he will avoid things in favor of upsetting people. Trying to convince him honesty is better than not mentioning etc. Had lots of fun with various mates. Another lecture about the bad newsness of Mattarse.

I went out to friends and pub on friday. karaoke fun.

went to edi to the gourmet burger kitchen. yum. great burgers.then a very long pub crawl through edi. watched ireland play in an irish bar. then in another bar we bumped into the huge group of forces rugby team. they were... em.. impressive. but also would have ate themselves if chocolate. then a group of irish got adopted and joined us in the last of our pub visits. then i pooped on last train back and made last orders at my local .... there a bar tender in there who i would definately like to see naked.
