Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
tookoolforskool · 21/02/2011 14:51

wooohoo. how very exciting. Buddist asked me out. :)
for next wed, hes taking me for something to eat at this new place. Quite exciting.

and the other new one. i shall call him wolfnan ( we seem to have pet names already).. well. ive spent most of the weekend on the phone to him :) i cant say anythng more than i am behaving in an appalling manner, and i should be ashamed of myself!!! I think i just need to shag him, alot to times... he says he is interested in more.. well. so am i really. but to be honest, id be happy to just have a weekend in bed with him. We have a date for just under two weeks time ( providing i can hold out that long)

biker, im not seeing him tomorrow, i cant be aresed and am no longer interested.

Drummer, tbh, ive not spoken to him enough and i dont want to waste a babysitter ( that i will need for budist) so im going to pospone our thur date till my next childfreee weekend.

and i think thats it :)
Still no sign of mr big....

snape - any train man action? Loving the tongue jenga ( may have to steal that) and you look so nice in that pic of you and him on your fb. Hes hot!!

persephonesnape · 21/02/2011 16:00

He certainly is hot, isn't he?and tongue jenga was absolutely inspired. I won every game and even started being ridiculously self confident by removing the 'middle' jenga tiles, by the power of tongue alone. this is now my party trick, akin to tying a cherry stalk in a knot in my mouth. I have to shut off a bit of my brain and do my times tables to stop myself from being disgraceful when I'm anywhere near him. Was a lovely, lovely evening and I think having such a wonderful time has clouded my perception of train man a little - it's taken the glow off. Still, I was a little late for the train this morning and arrived after TM. managed to sit across and opposite on next bank of seats, am now convinced that I am imagining any interest and I shall basically just sit there, gawping and drooling for the rest of my life. Gawp... Sad drool... Hmm

We talk, sometimes, PM and I about what will happen when we meet significant others. I always say I won't, he says he'll be happy for me when I do. it's basically because I don't think I can. I think I make myself available for dating etc, because he does and it's a form of avoidance/self punishment where I think I might meet someone else and not bother about him too much.. Still, I can't get too sad or analytical about this - I have the best friend in the world - and he's a hottie and lots and lots of alcohol means that the discussion a few weeks ago about us being too close (instigated by me) and we should stop holding hands and being over-familiar and kissing each other hello/goodbye on the lips, because it's confusing, has lasted for around five weeks and we're now back at the over-familiar stage. Bless you alcohol. Now I need to plan his seduction our trip

persephonesnape · 21/02/2011 16:02

sorry - I'm being all self indulgent -

flame! whaaaaaheyyyy! Grin

Lou - Blurgh! at the liquified food!

Flame · 21/02/2011 16:56

Ah yes. Boundaries are overrated.

Think I am next seeing Smurf next weekend. Seems a long way away but I don't wanna push and scare him off. Although scaring off a man who chats all day seems odd.

Hatesponge · 21/02/2011 20:45

hello all

lilac, congrats to your DD for her confirmation, and glad all went well when TLOML met your parents. What a shame about his DD..maybe his ex will relent?

v pleased for those whose dating is going well - flame, zany, elasta - and tookool does wolfman have date potential or is it more lust (not that theres anything wrong with lust of course, though has been about 6 months since I last felt any!)

have been to what my DSs refer to as fat fighters Hmm tonight and have now lost a total of 1st 1.5lbs in my first month so am v v Grin. still 6 st to go, but am closer to it than I was this time next month :)

SparklyMily · 21/02/2011 21:01

Sponge, fantastic news ref weight loss, that is tremendous Grin

tookoolforskool · 21/02/2011 21:02

Wow. Bloody well done. That's amazing.

Flame.. he looks nice, big change from last week!! Lol.

Snape. Ah.. did you tell him how you really really felt?
Could you not just jump him?

Wolfman does have date potential. He says he not just after sex... tbh I don't care. If its more than sex, great. If not, no harm done.. but I don't usually lust after people in quite the way I am right now :)

SparklyMily · 21/02/2011 21:05

ok

Flame, yay for Smurf, have had a nosey and he looks lovely

Snape, yay for tongue jenga Grin....do please explain why PM has to stay P?

Lilac, hope all sorts itself out re TLOML DD, his X sounds on a par with mine...

Took, wow, there's a lot going on there, you will need to summarise at regular intervals so I can keep up Wink

Zany spill about romantic date please

um, can't recall what everyone else is up to, but waves to Monty (any date action?), Eve (4th date coming up?) Elasta (Mr GW still chatting? Job news?), Aurora, BNM (hang in there), MZ and so on and so forth

phwew

SparklyMily · 21/02/2011 21:07

totally OT but....we have a date Grin

as in a date to wed Grin Grin

and I am dress hunting, cos it's fun and I am getting all excited Grin

Flame · 21/02/2011 21:08

WHEN?!?!?! :o

(My sex drive is all over the place. It is NOT GOOD. I want to not jump this bloke next time I see him)

SparklyMily · 21/02/2011 21:14

September 24th

and here is a dress I like, but not in white

Flame · 21/02/2011 21:15

Oooh I like

Hatesponge · 21/02/2011 21:18

Mily thats brilliant! how exciting! Grin so when is the big day?!

I'm still hopeful I might one day get married (albeit v grateful I never did with Ex, my gut instinct he wasn't the right one was correct) though it certainly won't be to any of the oddbods who keep emailing me on POF Grin today's selection are all too short, too hairy (bodily...ick!) or not hairy enough (head), and can't spell for toffee!

Hatesponge · 21/02/2011 21:20

sorry...x post!

dress is beautiful :)

SparklyMily · 21/02/2011 21:23

I can't believe I care about getting married again, and yet I do Hmm, so long as it's to TLM (iyswim)

adamschic · 21/02/2011 21:24

Lovely Mily, cannot believe we have our first wedding since the thread started, just fabulous.

Sponge well done on the weight loss, brilliant, keep it going.

Mine is only second date. Trying to decide where to go as he's coming my way. Might go to my favourite cafe/bar for a meal. All this eating out is getting a bit much but one has to do it in the early days. Really not sure whether things will progress but that's the whole point of dating isn't it?

SparklyMily · 21/02/2011 21:27

Eve, does it have to be evening or could you do wlk/pub lunch? Still eating out but at least doing something else as well?

adamschic · 21/02/2011 21:33

Mily that would be better but I am working all week and he may be going away so we have to have an evening date or nothing. If it goes well we might have another dinner date and a night in his city (been a while since I've done this) and then go for a walk the next day. See how it goes.

SparklyMily · 21/02/2011 21:35

or this ?

SparklyMily · 21/02/2011 21:36

understood eve, well, nice dinner will have to do

is he nearish to you? Sorry if you have already said, have been struggling to keep up with the thread Blush

lilacisinlove · 21/02/2011 21:39

wow, mily, so excited for you and TLM Grin

I like the second one best, but they are both gorgeous.

Any chance of a mammoth FIA ladies wedding dress expedition? We'll all come, since you value our opinions!

OP posts:
Flame · 21/02/2011 21:40

Ooh I like the second one more

SparklyMily · 21/02/2011 21:41

oh, and I will limit posts on dresses to an agreed number.....

Hatesponge · 21/02/2011 21:43

I like the first one more :)

I would love to go on wedding dress expedition however I am the sort of saddo person who has had their ideal wedding dress picked out since they were 21! proper meringue type thing as well Blush

(possibly Mily won't want my shopping assistance in view of the above!)

SparklyMily · 21/02/2011 21:44

don't know if this link will work, if not, is image 2 on the 1st gallery page

shall i go and start a different thread ? Blush
