Since i met DG i get so grumpy if i don't get any action for a week or so.I've never been like that before.I annoy myself.Wonder why perhaps its my age hahaha.

Flame · 07/02/2011 20:21

I am baffled that I went 6 months before Carrot, and now a couple of weeks makes me want to jump random strangers.

BeauticianNotMagician · 07/02/2011 20:22

On valentines night which is when i next see DG we are staying at his mums aarrrghhh what am i going to do Grin

BeauticianNotMagician · 07/02/2011 20:23

Flame · 07/02/2011 20:24

"it quietly" would be my answer Wink

BeauticianNotMagician · 07/02/2011 20:30

Hahahahaha i just spat out my coffee at that reply Flame

StellaBrillante · 07/02/2011 20:45

Flame: when you get tired of them, what about you send them down the M4 my way?!?! :)

Beaut: you do need to watch out for your back as not sure it should be hurting but well done for keeping it up. don't think it's your imagination ref. arms - a friend of mine is a gym instructor and she always reminds us to do some arm workout before wearing a strapless dress or similar! i find that i get a real endorphines' buzz after exercising - good for the soul / mind too. just need serious liposuction on saggy stomach and all will be well Grin

adamschic · 07/02/2011 20:48

Beaut, I want to buy the Shred DVD hopefully 2nd hand from Amazon. I haven't exercised for a long time. Should I get level 1? What level are you doing.?

I was running out of cigs today and made a snap decision and finished them and don't want to buy anymore. Fingers crossed I can make it this time. Hence wanting to keep weight down.

I am supposed to me seeing Supermarket guy this weekend but not sure I should, no spark.

tookoolforskool · 07/02/2011 21:01

I did the 30 day shred in Dec. I could barley walk by day 4. I lost 8.5 inches in the first 6 days. Seriously. By day 6 I didn't hurt at all. Bar a pleasant ache sometimes. Apparently its mean to hurt.... 10 days each level :)

elastamum · 07/02/2011 21:04

VERY funny flame Grin

Well, have replied to the prof suggesting that I will be around this weekend as kids away on 1/2 term. Now i just have to wait and see what he comes back with. This is the worst bit - will he even reply with a date or just dissapear into cyberspace Confused

elastamum · 07/02/2011 21:05

And i am having a conversation with my 10yr old son on facebook as he is away with dad and of course dad is not letting me talk to them as he has his new wifey with him Sad

BeauticianNotMagician · 07/02/2011 21:07

Stella I have a saggy stomach i wish there was some wonder cure but i dont think i will ever get rid of my muffin top.

Adamschic You just buy the one dvd the 30 day shred i got it for 6 quid on amazonn which was including the first class option for delivery and it arrived the next day.

You start at level 1 (which i'm on now) on the dvd and then progress to level 2 when you feel ready.

adamschic · 07/02/2011 21:20

Thanks, funnily enough a mate has just rang and asked me to go to Zumba with her, said I would start next week.

StellaBrillante · 07/02/2011 21:23

i have two friends who to go zumba too and they love it - hope you will enjoy it Adamschic!

Elasta - how uncivilised...??? hope your ds will be back home soon x

elastamum · 07/02/2011 22:42

Feel a bit sad about not being able to talk to my kids. Will try to call them again tomorrow. They are back on Sunday. have a week off this week as am going down to clear out mums house. Not looking forward to that at all Sad

lou33 · 08/02/2011 09:39

Grin
sincitylover · 08/02/2011 11:00

Oh elasta that's Sadcould you give them mobiles next time - I sometimes give mine mobiles. They are going on hol with exh and p in July for 10 days - that's going to be very difficult for me. I hope ds1s phone will work there.

DS1 is nervous of flying there as well (its the US).

Thanks for all who replied about my post about exh and whether I coerced him (I know I didn't but wanted others opinions) - it was actually exbf who said it - i think he was just trying to put a male point of view but I was a bit meh about it.

sincitylover · 08/02/2011 11:09

but what I've realised about myself (as a result of having some in depth convos about many personal things with exbf) is how scared I am of revealing my true self to a man (even one I know well) and when I do how vulnerable that makes me feel.

I have the veneer of openness but that's not the real me IYKWIM. And if I reveal the real me I'll be rejected.

OK analysis of self over for today

Zanywany · 08/02/2011 11:17

Pleased your getting a new washing machine Lou - its a pain having to go to the laundrette etc

Sincity doesn't sound like you forced him into things at all, just told him your feelings on things.

Must be so frustrating Elasta not being able to talk to your DS when he is with his Dad. I bought my DS a mobile (well gave him my old one) just so that I could avoid talking to their Dad each time I wanted to chat to either of them.

My DC's went away last year for 10 days to Spain and I was dreading it so much when when the day came thay they left it wasn't so bad as I could count down until they came back home.

And I have a date tomorrow night - a bit nervous Grin

Mzdemeanourunderthemistletoe · 08/02/2011 11:38

@ scl - I know exactly what you mean - am trying with theatreman to maintain honesty and openness as a priority ... feel that at my age it's about time I had an adult relationship! I told him the other day that while I am really enjoying myself and am very fond of him, I am also scared sh*tless at how scared and vulnerable I feel - and that those feelings are compounded in some way by the fear that my kids will start to really like him and also risk getting hurt .... Not sure what the answer is or even whether there is one - maybe feel the fear and do it anyway?

And Lou - wahey to dp - as far as VD goes, would far rather a washing machine from the heart than a bunch of overpriced roses from the head!

sincitylover · 08/02/2011 12:14

its scary isn't it!! but you're right you prob have to open up a bit - to the right person - to fully experience a deeper connection.

BrainOrArse · 08/02/2011 13:21

i left my number on napkin for cute waiter this morning Shock. V much doubt he would call but still...

persephonesnape · 08/02/2011 14:05

place marking and first day of shred here I haven't exercised in about 3 months since moving house - used to shred ( but never got past 1st stage as 2nd just looked too intimidating!) and run- but have let it slide - realised thart I am the only one that looks after me, so to do something positive that I can control. :)

No dates! No interest - I've had such a weird couple of weeks of offering advice to my ex and to my soon-to-be-ex flatmate about their dodgy relationships, that I feel spectacularly jaded.

only wink this week on OCK was from a 53 year old. at least he appeared to have a full head of hair and his own teeth - but I think my exceptionally high standards regarding hair and teeth might have to drop substantially if I ever want to have sex again. (...)

lou33 · 08/02/2011 14:10

pleasepleaseplease, someone tell me what shredding is?!
