lol Lou, I'm going whatever tonight. My 2 mates are abit anal about NYE and don't like to be pinned down, hence me having to seek them out. It's a bit weird really because they go to the same pubs at the same time every year but still maintain that 'oh we don't make plans so not sure where we will be'. Hehe!!

Right, Dsis has called round and my taxi is booked for in quarter hour. Still cannot get hold of my friends, reckon they are telling me something!!!

Hows everyone feeling today. I had fun last night. Got to bed about half four so not long been up. Got asked out by a 65 yr old! and by an ex but you know I don't give anyone second chances.

ninah - was driving back from shopping trip yesterday in the dark - seem to get dazzled more, there are halos round the lights and have lost count of the numbers of cars driving around with one weak or non-existent headlight.

Went to bed last night about 2 but couldn't sleep finally dropped off about 7 woke about 1.

Need to readjust body clock.

New Year... embracing finding self again. Ignoring car crash love life for a bit. Was doing well with the whole moving on thing this morning, but have now been thrown off by phonecall and grinning like a lunatic. Mixed messages should make me pissed off not happy . Some nice texts from the cocktail guy. He feels like a gay mate though rather than a potential date...

i cant say last night was the best one ever, i was feeling like roadkill by 11, by 12 ds2 was feeling rough and crying, so him and myself were lying in my bed with dp next to us patiently saying nothing

ds finally felt ok to move to his room about 1.30

i have been in bed all day and dp has taken over to make sure i rest

fingers crossed i feel some improvement tomorrow

wrt driving and glasses, i am long sighted, so struggle to see things close to me, but do need a slight adjustment at times for driving or tv, esp if not 100%

the trouble with wearing glasses at night for driving is unless they have a special coating on them, you do get a glare from headlights

sadly too expensive for me to have the coating on mine, think it was about another 90 quid on top of the normal price

this is coming from the woman whose reading glasses have snapped and am about to ask dp to stop the lens falling out by supergluing it all back together, so clearly i dont have a spare 90 quid lol

I wanted to glue my last pair together cos they snapped, wore them with cellotape on for a fortnight waiting for asda offer specs

Wouldn't run to coating though, don't drive in dark that often. You'd think they'd coat the windscreen with something similar, really, save the need! really bad esp on dark country lanes

Lots of testing from filmbuff, with the last text he sent having a x st the end. Hes text me once so far today as well which is nice as he said he was at work and is now st a family thing.

Dogman asked if I was free tomorrow!!!! Ive never had anyone ask so quickly then want to meet so quickly before. Bar filmbuff of course.
