lou33 · 17/11/2010 19:29

I did wonder what that post on my fb was about!

BeauticianNotMagician · 17/11/2010 19:30

Mily sounds good haha

After 6 months being diet coke free i have stupidly drunk half a bottle of it today and now have a splitting headache. How i used to drink cans and cans of the stuff i'll never know.Back to water for me.

lilac21 · 17/11/2010 19:45

Hello all

Yeah, agree with you all re kiwi, have heard nothing today and tbh I don't actually care. Can't be bothered to suck it, I'd rather get my lips round something worth having Blush

H&S still texting and emailing every day, he is so NICE and seems really straightforward. Hoped to meet tomorrow but he is busy, schedule for next week not looking hopeful. Have pencilled cyclist in for Thursday again but will be amazed if I ever actually get to meet him.

Supposed to have Dep Head observing a lesson tomorrow (why? I am leaving in 4 weeks?!) but have cancelled it - head and lots of other things still hurt and frankly I can't be bothered with it. She said we'll rearrange it but I certainly won't be reminding her.

Mily, enjoy the sloe gin.

Please don't substitute mumsnet for facebook for I absolutely refuse to join fb!

BeauticianNotMagician · 17/11/2010 20:39

Lilac i definitely won't be substituting it and i don't think others will either.I wouldn't post half of the stuff on fb that i put on here.

Hope the dates work out.

ninah · 17/11/2010 21:01

well I have friend requested a couple of you that look like you are from thread
one is ..i think! .. hate, the other I haven't a clue!

OP posts:
ninah · 17/11/2010 21:02

sloe gin, you have to mature that for months don't you?

OP posts:
FairyLightsForever · 17/11/2010 21:20

ninah, one is flame (hot/ crazy), the other, I think judging by the photo on mily's profile, I think the other is sin (but I could be wrong)Grin

ninah · 17/11/2010 21:38

ah it must be flame then! great
managed to work out sin! thanks fairy

OP posts:
Flame · 17/11/2010 22:14

Lol - Can I explain for those not on facebook... Hot/Crazy is a photo from How I Met Your Mother showing the hot/crazy scale. She is not using that as a description of me!!

I need to Blush lots.

Carrot's nieces found the ransom note first (it WAS in an envelope addressed to him, which I thought would make it safe). They were slightly freaked out BlushBlushBlush I have been asked not to scare teenage girls again...

elastamum · 17/11/2010 22:39

OMG flame!!!!

Am going to look on Fb as MILY has sent me a message.

BUT am also REALLY EXCITED!! New man I met last night has just rung and invited me for a drink next week and also asked if I would to accompany him to a big concert in a couple of weeks time which is a corporate works event for him - he works in radio. I had spent the whole day wondering if / when he would call me. Am Grin Shock

lilac21 · 17/11/2010 22:40

Yay elasta!!

Flame · 17/11/2010 22:46

Ooh wow yay elasta!
I
am feeling really guilty about the nieces. I don't know if they actually opened the envelope or not... had forgotten i stuck his name on in newspaper clipping too...

lilac21 · 17/11/2010 22:56

lol flame...good job it was just a hat!

FairyLightsForever · 17/11/2010 23:31

So, I stand by what I said earlier flame, you are crazy/ hot! Grin

Elasta, that is brilliant news!

lou33 · 18/11/2010 10:00

Good news elasta!

Dp bought me flowers and chocolate last night (was having a bad day)
:)

hatesponge · 18/11/2010 10:04

elasta great news Grin

ninah I think you have also friended me on FB...I'm the one with the (trying to be arty and failing miserably) black and white photo :)(which I want to change but can't cos I only have FB on my phone...cant wait for new laptop!)

flame Grin re ransom note though I hope the teenage nieces weren't too upset by it!

BaroqueAroundTheClock · 18/11/2010 10:38

Well it's just OkC and PoF for me for now - subscription ran out on Match so that's that for now as I can't afford to re-new

Bloody kids keep scaring people off though (not surprised really they scare me Wink)

mummyilubyou · 18/11/2010 10:44

elasta, fantastic news, am sooooo ppleased for you

Sponge, have found you via ninah and sent you an FB friend message

I agree lilac, FB no substitute for MN, very little of what I say here would ever see the light of day there, which is good. Dates sound v promising

Sloe gin takes about 6 weeks so hopefully will be ok for Christmas, may even end up being presents for people. Have kicked off the shopping but v strict budget as divorce bills will start rolling in during Jan (a good cause but scary money)

Lou, love the flowers

Flame Grin at ransom note, I do rofl at your posts. Also looking good for you on the date front

Right, as I usually say at this point, must get on with some work Hmm

mummyilubyou · 18/11/2010 11:09

garibaldis

Flame · 18/11/2010 11:22

Ooh not had garibaldis in ages.

I might pick up a box of maltesers for him to give to the nieces. i feel mean! Seeing as we're planning to be in each other's lives regardless of "what" we are, i would quite like for his sister not to hate me.

I've got to sort meeting earl. He seems nice and a laugh.

Need to sit down and work out Christmas budgets. I have been useless with money these past few months.

BeauticianNotMagician · 18/11/2010 12:57

Hi All

Elasta great news on the date really happy for you.Hope you have a great second date.

Flame Haha at newspaper clipping.Have you heard anymore?

DG will be here early afternoon instead of evening and i cant wait.Am like a teenager i know.

hatesponge · 18/11/2010 13:19

mily have added you on FB :)

some names have now come up as 'people you might know' will see if I can work out who's who (and not just end up friending random ladies!) Grin

hatesponge · 18/11/2010 13:26

oh, and Ex has now told me he has no job and no money Hmm so will no longer be paying DS2's childminder. That's the only thing he pays at present so therefore he will now be paying a total of nothing Angry

Am v v tempted to tell him to sell his car to raise some cash. Either that or repeat my offer of a lump sum from the house to buy him out once and for all............

BeauticianNotMagician · 18/11/2010 13:38

Sponge Thats awful. My ex has just lost his job and i got my last csa payment last week as he wouldnt pay voluntary. It irritates me no end that not only does he hardly bother to see the ds's yet feels the need to try and dictate my life but now he won't even be contributing.

Will you be able to claim the childcare element of tax credits now to help with childminding costs?

BeauticianNotMagician · 18/11/2010 13:39

Not that you should have to of course Angry
