Not enough snow here, still going to work but kids kept in all day so they are practically climbing the walls. Must admit that the 90 minutes of silence interspersed with 20 minutes of singing in church this afternoon didn't help.

First date with H&S guy yesterday, we got on really well and he seems very kind and attentive and considerate. He even came half way home on the tube with me then turned back and went the right way for his own journey! Not sure if I fancy him enough though.... We've agreed to meet again but not set a date yet.

Cyclist had to work late AGAIN tonight, so date no. 2 has still yet to happen. I met him for the first time two weeks ago after about 7 weeks of texts and emails, so one date in 9-10 weeks is not looking hopeful. I know he's working on a £650M bid at the moment and things will improve in a few weeks but I wanted to see him, dammit. Lilac, it sounds like cyclist might be one of those just not to be. I went out with one similar erlier this yr. 4 dates in about 6 months, eventually even I gave up on that.

Am trying to do my tax return atm. Have set myself a target of getting all my paperwork up to date before the kids finish school in a couple of weeks time. Now have a to do list as long as my arm so I thought I'd start with a bit of mumsnet, followed by a sherry to keep out the cold, then maybe a bit more mumsnet, with a couple of minutes of work thrown in!
