Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
hatesponge · 15/11/2010 10:26

well, I think I've now just about recovered from Friday....forgot that I really shouldn't drink white wine Blush. Will have to do it all again soon...once my liver has recovered that is! Grin

Eve, man is clearly an idiot, and a rude one :(

Lilac - hope all ok at the GP and its nothing too serious

Elasta - fingers crossed for a spark with this one :)

No news here...though despite being considerably inebriated on Friday managed to resist temptation to text WM (or the one from the party) which was probably a good thing!

mummyilubyou · 15/11/2010 10:31

Hi everyone

Have posted a photo from Friday on my MN profile and have put some on FB, pm'd a couple of you with my FB details

didn't we have a lovely time? Smile
It was so great to meet those that made it, Sad not to have been able to get everyone together.

Had a great time Saturday - picked the dds up from my friend who had them over on Fri night, then had a riding lesson in the afternoon which Raf (or should I call him TLM?Grin) had arranged as a surprise. Then out to a friedn's on Sat eve for a Thai takeaway at her house to celebrate her birthday (Raf babysat.....)
Then spent the day at my parents' yesterday, with Raf and the dds and it felt like the most natural thing in the world, like we had been doing it for years......

BNM Sad re health but Grin re moving in

Ninah, yay to hear from you, have pm'd you my fb

Elasta, fingers crossed re dates, how's your mum doing?

Flame, have to say yay re Carrot and hope dates work out

ditto Lilac, and what Lou said about kiwi boy (rofl Lou at making lace Grin)

right, better get on with some work

mummyilubyou · 15/11/2010 10:36

Sponge - what can I say ? so lovely to see you Friday

lou33 · 15/11/2010 10:53

Morning all.

Placemarking really. Ds1 is still not right. Docs now think he has a
campylobacter infection so is now on anti biotics, and i have to get a stool sample somehow. . . .

mummyilubyou · 15/11/2010 11:00

lou, good luck with that.....

Janos · 15/11/2010 11:04

eve - rude, ignorant sod! There is no excuse for bad manners IMO.

Must admit am feeling Envy of your night out on Friday, it looked fantastic.

lou - poor DS1. Good luck with the stool sample- I mean that most sincerely.

lilac - good luck at the docs.

elasta - sounds promising!

Janos · 15/11/2010 11:08

I have had to take some time off work as a plumber is coming round to fix my pipes.

Unfortunatley, he really is just coming round to fix my pipes Grin but must admit I'm enjoying having a little quiet time to myself after my mad weekend.

mummyilubyou · 15/11/2010 11:09

BNM, just seen you on FB, you should be called Beautifulnotmagigician Smile

BeauticianNotMagician · 15/11/2010 11:21

Lilac Goodness i hope it works.I really should have thought usually my doctor tells me if an antibiotic will affect pill.Things are moving fast for DG and i but hopefully not that fast.

Elasta good luck on the date sounds good.

Mily How you feel about RAF is the same as me with DG everyone thinks we are doing everything to quick but it feels like ive known him for ages.Thank you for compliment see its amazing what a bit of make up can doGrin

Lou Good luck with that

mummyilubyou · 15/11/2010 11:25

I note that Monty, Sponge and Kdk have kept v quiet re impressions of Raf who they met briefly Friday as he came to collect me - really hope that's not cos they thought he was awful Hmm Grin

aurorastargazer · 15/11/2010 11:55

mornign all, place markng again sorry Blush

Remotew · 15/11/2010 12:00

BNM have pm'd you re facebook.

Thanks for sympathy, must admit to being a bit Confused, as we had a cracking night and morning Blush, didn't seem awkward afterwards and I'm usually good at picking up vibes. Maybe he's just a little shell shocked and if not then at least I had a good time.

Will shut up about it now. Grin

sincitylover · 15/11/2010 12:02

can't get going today. Hmm

I'm not surprised that its taken a while to get over fri - I felt really quite drunk when I left, neeed assistance from quite a nice man to top up my oyster. And was bursting for a pee by the time I reached childminders.

It was a lovely evening - so nice to see mummy and to meet with sponge, monty and kdk (glam queen) again.

Monty will send you my mobile via facebook once I get back to work tomorrow.

Rest of weekend taken up with party for ds2, out on the road for cricket practice on Sunday and lots of TV. Xfactor and even I'm a celebrity.

Funnily enough I drunk quite alot of wine on saturday at home but it had virtually no effect - strange - I do think the wine on fri was xtra strong.

Elasta would love to meet you as I think we have a few things in common re our exs and new relationship - have seen you on some of the step parents threads.

BeauticianNotMagician · 15/11/2010 12:28

aurorastargazer · 15/11/2010 13:13

BeauticianNotMagician · 15/11/2010 13:21

BeauticianNotMagician · 15/11/2010 13:23

Don't know about the single dad but i'm so glad i decided to start dating as i was chosenHmm to go on that date on a thread a while back called something like looking for a date in october.I never heard a thing back and yet i was obssessed with checking the thread whilst it was going.

aurorastargazer · 15/11/2010 13:27

Remotew · 15/11/2010 13:28

I seem to remember that thread BNM so it never came off?

BeauticianNotMagician · 15/11/2010 13:39

Eve im getting confused now between fb and mn haha.

Remotew · 15/11/2010 13:41

haha, cross posting with fb now!

hatesponge · 15/11/2010 14:13

i remember that thread as well!

should just say, anyone who wants to please feel free to add me on fb :) I only have FB on my phone (which is useless) so trying to add or search for anyone becomes a real palaver Grin

this reminds me must call my insurers to chase up my insurance claim, might eventually get a new laptop. that'll take my mind off state of my house - due to recent events WM will clearly not be tiling my bathroom and my plumber has let me down as well. anyone know any reputable and cheap tradesmen in south east london?.....

lilac21 · 15/11/2010 15:07

Back from doc...I am very healthy and have no symptoms at all.

Apart from the headache, tiredness and pain in my lower back, neck, shoulders, hips, hands, elbows and knees that is...the verdict is that I've caught something viral from one of the kids at school.

Oh well, I'm quite happy on my sofa catching up on marking and writing my class assembly for next week.

Janos · 15/11/2010 15:27

That sounds like a fantastic excuse to have a quiet, restful week, lilac. Glad it's nothing serious though.

Must admit my day off for plumber has been nice and restful. Luckily my work are sympathetic/tolerant about such things which is a godsend.
