Kicking this off.

Hi BeautnotMag, 3rd date sounding promising and can see you are keeping your options open.

OP posts:

Even with the flame though there are very few cool halloween names. I tend to end up with flamebat.

hatesponge · 15/10/2010 14:53

I suppose that until I ask him I can kid myself that he does like me, and would say yes. But once I ask him I will know for definite, one way or the other. And of all the men I have ever asked (going back to uni days) not one has ever said yes. Not even the one from last year who I knew fancied me, and I'd already snogged previously (so might have been thought of as a safe bet!).

Hence my reluctance.

kdk · 15/10/2010 14:55

It's my incredible animal magnetism - sadly only works on lunatics and not george clooney lookylikes!

kdk · 15/10/2010 14:56

Sponge - IM me on FB with his number and I'll do it!

kdk · 15/10/2010 14:56

Or I'll send a loony your way if you prefer!

BeauticianNotMagician · 15/10/2010 14:59

Flame Yay for the date.I wouldn't worry about Carrot.

Mily So pleased for you.RAF sounds like such a nice, genuine guy SmileSo pleased for you getting the divorce papers.A whole new chapter is starting in your life now.

Sponge I think it would make you feel better to know one way or the other whats going on with WM.Send the text.

ParrotandBubbles · 15/10/2010 15:24

I am wondering how everyone keeps up with this thread? KDK I get lots of emails from loonies too - I'm a Christian so chose to only date Christian men and I've more than once had emails from smart alecs saying that God has told them that I need to sleep with them! Its hard to resist a man with logic that sound...
Date this morning (I think I said evening before - I plead baby brain 8 months late) was a total disastor because I am an idiot. We meet, had coffee went for a walk by the sea talked for ages. He was wonderful, understanding when my Dad rang to check something about the bairns, and I enjoyed his company. End of date, he leaned it to kiss goodbye and I freaked out. It just felt wrong to be kissing someone who wasn't my X. So I met a decent guy who looks promising and I act like an idiot. Really cross with myself at the moment and I guess I won't hear from him again.
Oh and Sponge I would send the text - its always better to know.

BeauticianNotMagician · 15/10/2010 15:39

Parrot I'm sure it wasn't a total disaster. After my first date with DG i awkwardly kissed him on the cheek well more his earBlush. On our second date we kissed and i fell against him which was equally as embarassing. He is still in contact with me now though so obviously it wasn't as bad as what i thought.

BlackFLAMECandle · 15/10/2010 15:53

I know there is no reason for guilt but it is there iyswim.

Getting excited now though. no idea what to wear...

Parrot... if he liked you the kiss won't matter.

BeauticianNotMagician · 15/10/2010 16:22
