Welcome Parrot.I was on Single With Kids,Guardian and eharmony sites.I went on two dates with a guy from SWK.Then i went on a date with DG from eharmony and we have been dating for a couple of weeks if you read back you will see things have moved fast for us but i really,really like him .

I don't have that much help in the way of babysitters.Only my mum who will help if i'm absolutely desperate and Exp has the ds's now and again but never overnight at the weekend as he doesn't want me to meet someone.

I did however,find a wonderful childminder who has the boys at her house overnight.It costs me £50.I think you will find time slots if it's someone worth finding the time for and wouldn't worry too much at this stage.I still worry a bit but then i figure that he has known i have children from the start and if he is worth it he will understand that sometimes i can't just drop everthing.

Sorry Parrot after all that forgot to ask about your date.

I have to say I ignore 99% of the messages I get, 0.5 of the rest I wish I had and the other .5 occasionally lead to a meet although no romance as yet. I am very very picky - and have no overnight babysitter!

Dinner out with RAF last night, lovely village pub a few miles away. Can't actually recall what I ate but the company was great
He is growing on me so fast it scares me. We were talking last night about our hopes for the future and he said 'of course, one hope I have is a future with you'
I couldn't wipe the silly grin off my face
I know we have only known each other a very short time but I can't get over how right it all feels.....

I'm the same kdk! Most people I ignore, but the "I'm from the States' really wouldn't work on me because I discount them immediately on the basis that I'm only interested in people I can go for a drink with.

It makes me feel really sad that people get sucked in by these a-holes, anyone asking me for money would get laughed at and a swift "goodbye"!

I'm the same as you, I'm very picky as overnight babysitting is difficult (plus I'd actually have to shave my legs )

am fed up at work. Put a huge amount of effort into something yesterday and gave up 3 hours of my own time, all for one of my colleagues (for which read total tosser) to steal all the credit for it My team are all fuming!

and WM has been referred for a (potentially) major op, so feeling a bit :( for him as well.

my friend at work who I bore with the saga of WM on an even more regular basis than you lot suggests I text him along the lines of what rubbish news that is re his op, that I hope he's okay, and does he fancy coming out for a drink at the weekend, on me.

I don't know though.
