Kicking this off.

Hi BeautnotMag, 3rd date sounding promising and can see you are keeping your options open.

OP posts:
mummyilubyou · 08/10/2010 18:09

Yes, go for it Sponge

RAF is popping round for a cuppa once the dds are in bed.....

StrawberryFruitBat · 08/10/2010 19:16

Love that you're lining them up Lilac :o

I keep getting messages from 40 yr olds on OKC Hmm

I love our good intentions with going with the flow. We then go completely obsessed Wink

I am so glad I'm not doing the XH staying here at weekends thing any more. He trashes the place in just an evening babysitting - I have no idea how I would cope with him wrecking my shiny new house. I don't particularly like the children being squished in at his place, but I don't want him stealing mine either. I may relent during the winter daytimes as long as he takes them at night.

Wooohoo for RAF sleepover :o

:( for tonsils Lou

DD2 is much better. Temp still spiking, but whilst she is taking in some fluids and not going up any higher, I am ok to keep her at home. DS has gone for a boy's night with XH, and my mum has DD1 so I can give DD2 undivided attention. Have cancelled trip tomorrow - XH is going to have them during the day (so I can sleep etc), and I am having DD2 back overnight as she always goes downhill there.

How do I not have the fireworks and butterflies?! I have fallen for the veg big time it seems. It is him that I have wanted to see today to give me hugs. So I have all that but not the schung (that was a weird noise, complete with hand actions btw).

StrawberryFruitBat · 08/10/2010 19:16

Oh and yes, offer to share sponge!

BeauticianNotMagician · 08/10/2010 19:24

Lou So sorry about your mum.Hope you get well soon.

Sponge Give me his number and ill send one of those my mate really fancies you texts Grin.Just go for it.

Mily So he couldn't wait until tomorrow.Have a great night.

BeauticianNotMagician · 08/10/2010 19:31

Glad DD is a little better.I thought earlier that you may be wanting comfort from the strange veg.

I just got off the phone to DG he is a little awkward on the phone. Was supposed to be seeing him tomorrow but he has to do a two hour drive to his mums and then back again.I think he wants to just stay there as is tired but at the same time i have a feeling he just isn't that into me Sad

mummyilubyou · 08/10/2010 19:35

Sponge, send us all his number and we can innundate him Grin

Strawb, glad to hear dd2 in a more comfortable state and you have the support you need over the next few days.

Fireworks occurred when Raf briefly stroked the back of my neck, I was looking at the stage, got this amazing tingling sensation, turned round and then the thing with the hands holding face and that was me done for. Can't recall who was recommending to whom re massages earlier in the thread but you should definitely go there, reckon that'll light the fuse Wink

Am ridiculously looking fwd to Raf popping by.....this is silly, I can't possibly have fallen for someone within a week???

Lou, hope hot lemon and honey (and whiskey) are on the menu, no doubt gorgeous DP is looking after you. The thing with your mum Sad Sad

StrawberryFruitBat · 08/10/2010 19:42

:( DG could well be tired. I don't know men so have no real clue.

I think I am owed a massage after today.

(Oh I did Blush a bit when he said about how he wouldn't want his life online).

Waiting for a reply from poet. I think I was rambling a bit too much yesterday and prob scared him off. Meh.

lou33 · 08/10/2010 19:43

Dp has turned up with a mini pot of chocolate indulgence from m&s, and the tools to fix my new small tv on the bedroom wall. Then i can watch a dvd in bed.

Cant wait

BeauticianNotMagician · 08/10/2010 19:45

Men my life was easier before all this dating malarkey.

Definitely owed a massage or two.Im sure the poet will reply.

BeauticianNotMagician · 08/10/2010 19:46

Lou Envy Your DP sounds so perfect. What are his flaws does he actually have any?

lou33 · 08/10/2010 20:26

Well he stopped leaving the room to fart after 3 weeks of knowing him. Does that count?

StrawberryFruitBat · 08/10/2010 20:26

Agree - life was easier before. But dull.

Also wanting to know LouDP flaws!

StrawberryFruitBat · 08/10/2010 20:27

Nah, farting is acceptable - it freaks me out when people leave the room for it.

BeauticianNotMagician · 08/10/2010 20:28

Lou Grin Well expecting him to fart in private would be taking perfection to a whole other level.Enjoy your chocolate and dvd

lou33 · 08/10/2010 20:32

And i would never see him if he left every time.

Tbh he probably has the usual minor flaws, but he is so fantastic in most areas they dont matter.

He is a bit of a rogue with a soft centre

:)

StrawberryFruitBat · 08/10/2010 20:38
Envy
Janos · 08/10/2010 20:48

Just a quick one to say hello..marking my place.

Still resolutely single and not dating and feeling a bit of a fraud being here but hi anyway :)

elastamum · 08/10/2010 22:12

hi All,

Just popping in for a read! Have just got back from an evening climbing with my boys - lots of fit men there!

Am off to mums tomorrow - am taking the kids - will see how it goes. She is on pretty good form on the phone - I think its the morphine - but according to my brother is going down hill Sad

Dating is a bit of a distraction at best. Havent managed to get a date to see doc - the distance is a problem as my weekends are for seeing mum - he cant exactly pop by and I dont want to invite him to stay - at least not yet.

And I have a date with a new man next Fri - will have to think of a name for him??

kdk · 08/10/2010 22:32

Dickhead has just sent me another message

"elo sxy, i luv ur pic, wana have sum fun with me?
Whats ur msn addy sxy?" - virtual drink to anyone who can come up with a suitable riposte, especially one that, shall we say, has some fun - preferably at his expense!

StrawberryFruitBat · 08/10/2010 22:37

"hl e oe yo ture, t to oe... ' yo ress e" - you appear to be missing some letters.

kdk · 08/10/2010 22:45

Grin - just wish these eejits would go away - is anyone else on datingforparents? Dating for puerile/perverts/pensioners more like ...

StrawberryFruitBat · 08/10/2010 22:48

I just want someone under 40 to take an interest.

kdk · 08/10/2010 22:49

And Strawberry - what is wrong with 40-year-olds???

kdk · 08/10/2010 22:50

Next time I get one of my toyboys I'll send them your way if you like - maybe we could do a swap?

StrawberryFruitBat · 08/10/2010 22:59

Nothing is wrong with em, but I am 29 and don't want them Wink

So yes - toy boys over here :o
