Kicking this off.

Hi BeautnotMag, 3rd date sounding promising and can see you are keeping your options open.

12th sounds great to me - and likewise Monty. Hopefully will be shadow of my former self by then! Will have to get in touch with Passmyglass and see if she fancies coming along.

Euston works for me as well - and try to come along Lou!

MILY - I am jealous at your GSM action - I get practically nowt from there apart from an old friend who spotted me and got in touch! Oh, and once had a guy who was obviously well out of my league who threw his toys out of the pram when I didn't respond to him quickly enough!

Off to find myself a bottom feeder off sorry, get real and accept my limitations on POF!

Monty100 · 29/09/2010 22:15

By the way, can I tell you a little amusing story, talking of commuting.

Got off the train this morning and a big line of us on the escalator coming off the platform, a young girl, complete with long clothing and jihab (scarfe) was running like mad down the stairs next to the escalator trying to catch the train we'd just got off. She got to the doors just as they were closing and was trying to prize the doors back open, everyone was Shock. Anyway, she gave in and turned round totally embarrassed as she could see we were all looking on and as she turned her back to the train the doors opened again but she didn't realise, then everybody on the escalator started shouting 'look' 'look' 'look' and pointing at the doors, and she managed to catch her train. Oh it was funny.

Perhaps you had to be there but I chuckled all the way up the road.

mummyilubyou · 29/09/2010 22:15

Monty100 · 29/09/2010 22:21

MILY - rofl at appraising, I think there might be, but not the sort you're supposed to be doing. Grin

mummyilubyou · 29/09/2010 22:25

he's RAF Hmm

and has same RL name as GMM!!!

Beaut, IIR you are only 15 mins from DG, so that makes you near me too Grin, give us a hint?

BeauticianNotMagician · 29/09/2010 22:34

mummyilubyou · 29/09/2010 22:37

the airport....., the big one?

Monty, lol yes, mucho appraising going on - must make sure I don't mix up emails to RAF with notes in online appraisal tool

Monty100 · 29/09/2010 22:38

Beaut - oh, good luck eek. What are you wearing Grin?

MILY - I think it was at home that three people were talking to Lou.

Monty100 · 29/09/2010 22:45

Lilac - can you do 12th?? Smile

Lastorders - whereabouts are you??

lilac21 · 29/09/2010 22:46

Will put 12th in my diary (when I get it out of the cupboard I put it in when it arrived in June).

Anywhere for me, near Euston is ok, as I'm way out west near Heathrow.

Can't remember now, someone asked is Lovestruck for 'real' London - it is based upon nearest tube station to your workplace so many will live outside town but commute.

I have been chatting (since before Kiwi tosser, he doesn't seem offended that I disappeared for a week and have resurfaced without so much as a by-your-leave) to an American guy who works/lives in London now, but was in South Africa when our chats started and is now in Dubai Hmm Might manage to meet him if he ever gets on a plane heading in the right direction.

mily, get back to work or I will bring my ironing round too Grin

mummyilubyou · 29/09/2010 22:51

Lilac, you are nearish to me too then

Have written a fair amount of 1 appraisal

and have asked RAF for a coffee Shock

please compare today's MILY to the shy retiring flower of but a few weeks back Grin

BeauticianNotMagician · 29/09/2010 22:53

Monty don't im so nervous.Well as its bowling im wearing some dark jeans and a silk black top/blouse.Wearing heels which will obviously be exchanged for disgusting bowling shoes. But am wearing a gorgeous new set of undwear underneath Wink

lilac21 · 29/09/2010 22:58

BNM your outfit sounds ideal, sure you will make a great impression on them all.

BeauticianNotMagician · 29/09/2010 23:04

Lilac Thank you.I will have to watch my alcohol intake i'm a little mad and giggly as it is and alcohol is not my friend. So worried will make a complete idiot of myself.

Remotew · 29/09/2010 23:06

Beaut, I'm rubbish at bowling too, especially if people are watching, used to hate going with workmates who loved it. I seem to do a lot better if it's just us, think I'm aware of people watching my arse!

Sorry didn't mean to put you off, have a great time.

Local guy seems to have disappeared on me. Wish I could stop checking fb every few minutes to see if he's online, he hasn't been. Pity, I quite liked him.

BeauticianNotMagician · 29/09/2010 23:09

Abouteve Thats exactly what i'm worried about people watching my arse i have to face facts there is a lot of it to watch. Then having to turn around probably blushing away.

Monty100 · 29/09/2010 23:09

Beaut - You'll bowl them over Grin. Oh sorry, I couldn't resist that.

On a serious note your outfit sounds great (especially the second layer). He must be really keen tho for his family to want to meet you.

lilac21 · 29/09/2010 23:10

BNM, just remember to let go of the ball and not follow it down the lane Grin

Remotew · 29/09/2010 23:10

I would have a few goes she how it's going then faint a foot injury or something. I'm also worried about slipping on the run up. Grin
