Hi Ladies

Thanks for your birthday wishes. We had a nice laid back day.
Next week is a busy one for me (immunisations, photos, family) but I'll make a meet up if I can.
There is a new soft play centre in Waltham Abbey (a big one I think) that we might check out this afternoon.
Harri - I love the fact that school was cancelled. I've never thought of that from the teachers point of view before. I hope you had some nice unexpected days off.

Hi girls,

had a lazy weekend. Aaron had his first look at snow. By the time we got out though it had disappeared. would love to have a white Xmas.

took Aaron for weigh in on Thu has only put on a couple of oz in 2 weeks and dropped of his line so hv is a bit concerned. told her he had cold last week so didnt want to eat much for a few days. He is getting rather picky now over food and wants to feed himself, did you girls have this problem? . so now I am stressing as I have to take him back this week for weight check and its almost as if he has decided to go on food strike and only wants the breast milk.

do you think i should just let him feed himself, give him finger foods, he's not too interested in pureess, smooth or lumpy, worrying he won't get the protein he needs from meat and poultry etc.

Mine - how's work going? - getting any easier

Harri- hope to make Pushy mothers this Wed.

Vicky - glad to hear Luc had a good birthday.

I found some useful advice in a book called Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child. It's been brilliant this week but I'm not fool enough to think it will last.

thanks Vicky, tried the baby whisperer method, succeeded for 3 nights, though first 2 were not easy, he cried so loud, sure neighbours would come round. 3rd mnight a few grumbles, then went to sleep, hooray. 4th night went out the window, went swimmimg earlier that day, he fell fast asleep before I could get him into cot. oh well, willl carry on.

Mine - how's it going, glad for the meet up last week. Eren getting so big. re job defo not worth it if yr boss treating you like that. always a job out there somewhere.....

would be nice to see everyone for a Xmas meet. anyone up for meeting next week??

Jello it was great seeing you both. I can;t believe how much he has grown. I hope you are taking your own direction re breastfeeding and ignoring your ignoramous of a midwife! I really can;t believe that theyare telling you to stop

I still don;t have a leave date from work. Its been driving me nuts. Technically i'm on a 3 month notice period but they said they would let me go if they could find a replacement sooner. I'm not even sure if they are looking

We Eren has had a ear and throat infection for 5 days now. The first round of antibiotics the Dr gave us didn;t work so i took him back again today and they gave him Penicillin. I hope it clears up soon as he is sooo ill it breaks my heart to know he is in real pain. He can;t even walk/stand up properly without wobbling although it is quite funny to watch

DH and i had a really stupid fight last night. He is currently on holiday for 2 weeks and is looking after Eren instead of me taking him to my mums as 7am (!!). Last night (day 2 of looking after him by the way) i came home at 6.30pm to an absolute shite house, toys everywhere, Eren still in his PJs. He didn't give him anything to eat all afternoon and didn't make anything for dinner because he 'didn't know what i fancied' even though we talked about that morning and the night before of what he was going to make. My mum was coming over for dinner too! Basically he didn't make enough to feed 2 let along feed 5. He goes off in a rant because i told him he should have given Eren something to eat at 4 or 5'ish as he'll be starving and explains why he has been whinging.

I had to call my mum and cancel... how embarrassing.

I know its hard work looking after an ill baby but is it too much to ask to have even made SOME effort to clean up and cook??!!! I ended up having to do it myself.
Turns out he had a hard day looking after Eren, he must have really stressed him out.
Made up in the end but i was soo angry.
BREATH........ ahh feel soo much better now!

I hope Harri is having a lovely holiday

MIne sounds like you're having a tough time, men are clueless you obviously should have left him a step by step guide to looking after a baby sick or not my dh is the same drives me mad.

Def a christmas get together needed what days can people do next week?

Really really cross just had my purse stolen from starbucks palmers green!!!!!
All erins birthday money gone
no cash cards for 5-7 days what a pian in the a*%e
KNow who it was too and looked in their bags but they'd obviously passed it on to the 3rd person who surprise surprise wouldn't open her bag!!!!!!!!!!!!
Have reported it to the police but can't see that theycan do anything

Mine - do you have another job lined up or are you going to be a lady of leisure (as if!) for a while?

I can meet up any day next week except Monday. Shall we form a vigilante group and mow down Harri's purse thieves with our pushchairs?
