Welcome August5. How are you finding life with your little one? I have a little boy, Luc, who's 10 months.

Mine, party sounds great. We can make it if it's in the daytime - we have friends coming over in the evening. I've been wondering myself what to do for Luc's birthday. I want to get him one of those little trikes with the parent handle.

Jaxs you missed the photo shoot- how embarrassing itpoored with rain and we were hot and sweaty and health and fitness magazine tyurned up to do an article ha ha ha.

Harri - hoping i can do pushy mothers tomorrow - pity about the photo shoot would have loved that but not the weather, anyway I had a cold so just as well.

Finally on the weaning stretch which you guys were always talking about. Not going too bad. Made the beginners error of starting with carrot. Orange stains everywhere. Don't wear any nice clothes either as baby is sure to put his hands in the food and then all over your clothes. It is fun though in a strange way.

jax its so exciting that Aaron is now starting on solids... prepare yourself for the atomic nappies!! they really stink!

I've had a couple fo days off work, it feels like i'm back on maternity leave.. tee hee!!

Work is rubbish, i still hate it. Its all very stressful and i'm just dreading every day i go in. I'm defo looking for something less stressful and closer to home.

busy, busy. Glad to see everyone is doing well. with being back at work, so hard to find time to post or to do anything else for that matter.

Harri - sorry did not get to Pushy Mother. Aaron was a bit under the weather the night before, was up for 3 hours 1-4 am so was shattered that morning.

Mine - looking forward to this afternoon

Vicky - great idea for meet up if possible, i'm working Monday morning and Wednesday but can do any other day.

What's everyone been up to?

I'm not sure at what stage you're all at with solids but I'm so frustrated that I just made Luc a lovely lunch and it all got either spat out or thrown on the floor. It was all stuff he's had before and enjoyed and I made it look nice. I know that's just babies but it is hard not to feel a little bit hurt. At least if you've only opened a jar you don't take it personally.

Right, that's my moan out of the way. I can go and get on with my day now.

Know what you mean Vicky, i've slaved to make some nice homemade purees for Aaron only for him to sometimes turn his nose up at them. so tempting to just feed him with jars. Anyone want to meet up this or next week??
